It was a comfortable stay. They were accommodating to 2 extra family members that tagged along with us. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that we had leave our room key every time we left the building.

The worst hotel ever… their mattresses were like sleeping on a bad piece of foam. They also have bed bugs. They refused a refund because they fumigate. We found a better hotel not too far fr0m here and it was less expensive with real double beds and hot water. The bathtubs in this place were painted and not very well. They say double occupancy is one small bed for 2 persons… smh. Bad service, bad facilities and poorly cleaned.

The hotel has a great location. Despite being central area of CMDX is very safe, as there is permanent police surveillance and private guards. It is a block and a half from the square of the Constitution, and around you have many places to visit (Cathedral to the side, National Palace to the street with its murals of Diego Rivera, etc). The cost is rational.

This very bn located but the comfort of the hotel is not the expected has bad smell in the bathrooms, mattresses in very bad condition, bathroom door without insurance, friendly staff, breakfast a disaster.

Ultra warm welcome, sometimes a tad noisy. Very nice breakfast on the hotel terrace.

One night stay for reasons of travel, hotel safe, very central, although the rooms are not very soundproof why you will hear conversations in the hallways. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was no need to use the TV which was very small, the internet had good intensity.

I find it to be a good hotel, it offers the basic services needed to have a good stay. However I think it takes "Do not Disturb" signs and that the doors have barriers that decrease the sound that people cause when passing or shouting in the hallways. As for the hot water we had to "waste" 10 minutes of water in the shower so that it will start to leave the water at hot temperature. For everything else I find a hotel safe and accessible.

What can I say, it is definitely a central location, economical, clean and with a very friendly staff, however I think at least 70% of what one expects from a hotel, is to be able to rest comfortably (leaving aside the one that is so noisy that you can hear people having re Relations and that is solved with ear plugs) the beds and pillows do not meet this parameter, not to mention that I asked to change them and very kindly they did, being a chain of several hostels and tourist agencies leaves much to be desired in This aspect not to mention that if you are carnivorous like me and you can not start your day without protein, the breakfast buffet in this hotel is not your thing.

Right off main square. Can be noisy with all the street vendors selling everything outside. Lovely view on balcony at breakfast.

The location is not the same, a few 200 meters from the Zocalo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The location is very good and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
In the surrounding area there are restaurants, souvenir shops and jewellery.
Breakfast was excellent. Every day they have a "main course" different from the local food, as well as coffee, juice, cereal, bread and fruit. During breakfast, which is taken on the terrace, you are accompanied by the owner of the hotel, a very nice and friendly gentleman who takes the coffee next to one.

It is not three stars as we sell it, maybe because it is geographically well located is a very frequented place, but leaves much to be desired in maintenance, sink taps that do not work, without lamp of bedside, you must get up to Being able to turn on the light, not regulated hot water, no TV control, now on the contrary the cleanliness is very good, and the staff very attentive in everything that is requested…

Supongo que no es recomendable visitarlo en época de calor ya que no cuenta con aire acondicionado o ventiladores. Hotel con pinta de hostal sumamente austero, camas poco cómodas. Ofrecen un desayuno cortesía, no está mal si solo quieres un poco de fruta para luego tomar un desayuno completo fuera del hotel. Wifi-tv-agua caliente.

Really good place to visit affordable and clean, if you're looking for something close to the city this is the best place to go too.

Good place to spend the night, just that the breakfast is not pleasant. But it's kind of polite. And you can also store your baggage after check out. That balances it with breakfast.

The perfect hotel in the middle of the downtown Mexico City. Great area with lots of beautiful tourists locations and restaurants. Great hotel with Wi-Fi and perfect size rooms for a night or 2.

Great location, but the most of the time that segment of the street is closed and it's hard to get a Uber or taxi. The rooms are small and so noisy, I didn't sleep because the noise.

My answer is: NOISE. I liked the bedroom, it is comfortable, but it is a hotel old man although that is not a problem, since its price is right, but eye, if your plan is to sleep well is bad choice since the noise is intolerable, the kitchen in the morning is a fright, they start to suck the rooms at 11 and 12 at night when you go to sleep and the noise of the boiler is frightening, the water almost cooks you or gives you hypothermia very poor installation of plumbing. Staff very helpful, but I repeat, I had never stayed in a hotel with so much noise.

It Is A nice hotel a few steps from the Zocalo with small rooms but with the necessary, at reception the attention is very good especially in the evening shift the Lord helped us quite and always with a smile, breakfast is free and is good do not expect something to restore NTE is basic but with good taste.

Very good location, a few steps from the Zocalo, a very good view from the rooftop terrace. Mr. Germán very friendly, attentive and willing to serve, helped us a lot with tips to move on the subway. The rooms are small but have enough space, have TV, safe and hot water, just one day batallé a little to level the water temperature of the shower. It Has an elevator. They Offer luggage storage service.

Very worth it for the price. It often has hot water and Wi-Fi, though never both at the same time it seems. However, the location is amazing (literally across the street from the National Palace) and the service is wonderful. The folks at the front desk were helpful, friendly and all speak English. Clean (ish) and basic, but excellent for location and price.

The hotel is a modest place. It was comfortable sleeping there. The shower didn't have hot water. I wasn't provided towels, and had to ask for them. Good hotel if traveling alone or with a friend.

For the price, it is not a bad deal. However, the bed and pillows are quite firm and uncomfortable. It is also quite noisy throughout the night. The rooms are quite small and water temperature in the shower is quite finnicky. Also, there is no soap provided. Only shampoo and conditioner.

It's an nice small hotel, good service, the rooms are clean and comfy. The location it's great in the Zócalo and an metro station básically you can go any way you want to go from there.

Very small room, unkempt, not there hot water, internet, bad, etc, room very expensive for what it offers ($550 inhab. Loud and more silent, more expensive you sell it). Check in 3 pm, check out 11 am.

Problems with the reservation. The receptionist was very friendly and knew how to respond, but the lack of communication made the whole process went very slow. There were No towels at the time of the delivery of the room.

Never again disgusting. The main reason I stayed at Hotel Amigo Zocalo is it was very close to the Zocalo and it offered a shuttle service to and from the airport. This was a total joke, I called the hotel to book the shuttle and they gave me a number to call who it turned out was Amigo tours same company. When I called they could not find my reservation I called the hotel back who gave me the reservation code and they still could not find it after about 11/2 hrs on the phone they finally got it straightened up. When I got to the airport there was a lady there with a sign from Amigos tours, She was waiting for some other people also after about 20 min of waiting there she asked us to follow here with all our bags we walked about ½ a mile and waited there for another 45 minutes for the shuttle. The shuttle was so disorganized they didn’t know if they were coming or going. When we got about a block from the hotel the driver pulled my bags out and I had to walk about a block with everything was very uncomfortable. The rooms in the hotel were disgusting there was blood in my sink, freezing cold water in the shower (no hot water at all), you have to go back to the lobby to get towels as there were no towels in the room, bed mattresses had plastic on them and very thick hard pillows, the window wouldn’t lock, I was worried to leave my things.

The only good thing is the closeness to the zocalo, the bad: the receptionist is very ill, at night all you hear from the talks up to the pipe, do not respect the prices, open up your suitcases. The beds are in a state of disrepair. Better go to the hotel asores.

Do not use this hotel, it is a farce to both of your photos as your web page, this dirty, do not put towels, there's hot water, the free breakfast sucks, not served by the elevator, and you can't sleep is listen to all the noises and screams from outside, and if you ask to speak with the manager tell you that it is never, high fees for that posilga, not book, if I could demandaria and ratings good you have are lies.

Horrible hotel, dirty, sloppy, a lot of noise, the employees speaking all night and you heard all over the hotelillo, is expensive, and the q charge is not worth by all ugly and lousy service, the breakfast q includes is what's disgusting in addition to serving a misery. The receptionists, rude and despotas, do not put towels, lot of noise at night, to bathe in the water comes out cold and then hot, hear all the pipes, the restaurant they give you what they want and what's worse, they charge more, I would NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Nice place, although it is quite old but very good place to rest and close to the zocalo.

The noisiest hotel ever. They make noise 24/7. It's unbearable. The elevator looks like a death trap. The rooms smell like dust, they're tiny, there are mosquitos, there's no sun light coming in at all. Breakfast is included but it starts at 8 am when you're already gone to work. And they have a sign that says that it's a family hotel and you should keep it down but there's music playing all day, banging on walls or something and people talking very loudly all the time.

It is good to the place. :-) :-)
