Took my first vacation in a long time. The people here were amazing and friendly and oh so welcoming. As a single woman traveling it was wonderful that they get to know you and recognizeyou, it makesyou feel so much safer. Made friends from both guests to staff that hope will last a lifetime.

We just returned and we are already planning our next trip back. The room was great, the staff was amazing and dinner was better than that. They took such great care of us and everyone. Beautiful location on the beach, wonderful spa service. Did I tell you we are already planning our next trip back.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, staff went above and beyond for us. Stayed in the honeymoon suite and the view was gorgeous! Already planning to come back next year for a longer stay.

My wife and I chose this destination for our anniversary. Liz Aranda was there from the start making sure it was a perfect romantic dinner. Tammy Newton made sure everything was satisfied for any activities. We highly recommended this establishment.

If you are a couple that enjoys a resort for quiet, alone time this is the place for you. This is not for a couple wanting some night life or fun at the pool. The property is very clean, rooms very nice and smell great. AC not so great. Every night is was very warm and hard to sleep even though we had temp down as low as would allow. The staff very very nice. The beach area is extremely small and very rocky/shells. Can not walk on it without shoes. Beach vendors not bad at all. Yes they are there, but not pest and take no easily. The request for desired profile is deceiving. You do not get anything on survey. The food — very disappointing. The menus do not change for the most part. Gourmet/luxury is not how I would describe. 3 restaurants, but only one for breakfast and lunch and it does not change. We were there 6 nights and not even a good Mexican dinner. How can a resort in Mexico no have gourmet Mexican on every menu? Service was very hit or miss. I would say service was great 40% of time and I would give food taste a 6 out of 10. Presentation of food 10 of 10. All inclusive — very very frustrating. They scan your band every time (the sister hotel does not). They ask you for tip every time. Not everything is all inclusive even though it says premium liquor. Overall I wanted to love this resort and was so excited to come, but we will not be back. Comparing to other luxury resorts and other countries, this would be at the bottom for me.

We went to celebrate a friend’s milestone birthday. It was our first time in PV and this property is absolutely stunning. It’s close to town so you can easily walk it. The food was fantastic and the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The only downside are the folks on the beach selling their wares. I understand that they need to make a living but at some point it got to be too much.

Lovely boutique hotel that is very close to downtown area. Absolutely gorgeous! Rooms are amazing and smell delightful. Maria Chavez was a wonderful host. Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing week at villa premiere this week! The staff made us feel welcome and at home from the second we walked in. The food was incredible and the resort was just perfect. Everything was well maintained, clean, and enjoyable. We loved the atmosphere and the intimacy. We will be back!

The food here is amazingly exquisite! … I felt like a celebrity. The tequila ice cream is so good.

I couldn’t have picked a better location to get married. The views, the rooms, the affordability for my guests, and the amazing food made Villa Premiere a no brainer. Their customer service was impeccable. I worked with Vanessa at the hotel to plan my wedding and got a room block of 15. We had 40 total guests ranging in ages from 18-91 years old and we all felt safe traveling to Villa Premiere during covid. The hotel hosted a cooking class for my friends and I, and even held our welcome party at one of their restaurants. The appetizers for the welcome party were exquisite. The food and cake at the wedding was also jaw dropping, thank you Chef Varona and team! If I could do it over, I would definitely host my wedding at the Villa Premiere. 10/10 Thank you!

I just finished 3 nights at Villa Premiere and loved every single minute of my stay! This was my first all-inclusive resort. It was wonderful. From the friendly greeting at check-in to the outstanding service, this place is top-notch! The hotel is very quiet and relaxed. The pool area is great. The bar and food service around the pool is fantastic. The service here is beyond amazing! Breakfast every morning was fantastic! The food here is wonderful! The rooms were clean, very well-kept and extremely comfortable! I'd like to give a special shoutout to all the servers at breakfast and to Raquel who took such nice care of us every morning. I'd also like to give a shout out to Enrique! He's everywhere and he provides the most outstanding service. He took the time to learn our names, our room numbers and our preferences. I absolutely love this hotel. I just spent 3 nights and 4 days there and I am completely renewed. I get the Master Suite every time I come and I try to visit once a year. The hotel is beautiful, the food and all of the amenities are beyond perfection. I will return again and again to this paradise on earth. This is the only hotel I will stay in, when I visit PV, because it has anything and everything I could ever want.

Great place, welcoming staff. Service focused. Food and drinks are customizable. Chefs are good in both restaurants. Some water rides are just available from the back beach of the resort that one doesn't have leave resort to go elsewhere.

The hotel is very cosy and nice. I like the fact that while having all you ever need, nothing is unnecessarily big, so you don't need to walk much to get to the beach or the pool. All rooms have ocean view and in my opinion you couldn't get closer. All other big hotels make you feel alienated while this keeps you feeling like you are part of a family. Food is the best I've eaten and staff is most helpful and friendly.

Adult only. But be aware next door is the party hotel so yes you will hear the screaming announcements while you are sitting on the hotels private beach or one of the two pools. Swim up bar. Also they have all inclusive. Which includes all you can eat. All the stuff in your mini bar. All room service and all drinks, including alcoholic. If you plan to stay at the hotel all day long then that is a good deal. Stayed at the honeymoon suite (they have 8 of them). It has a private balcony with tub outside. Room is very comfortable.

The Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway is neither a "boutique" atmosphere or "romantic" anything. From the moment we got there we knew this wasn't up to par with other hotels we've stayed in Mexico like Las Ventanas, One & Only Palmilla, La Pedregal, Las Ventanas, etc. — The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:30pm on Thursday — The room wasn't cleaned properly, the condiments in the bath were opened and used, and the floors made our feet black. Had to have them come and mop it. (Imagine chilling in the tub, reaching for the soap and finding it USED! That happened! ) — Our room has solid block balconies that block the view unless you're standing right next to it (this was supposed to be the best room available). — Their lower end hotel next door has a pool announcer who speaks on the loudspeaker right outside your window from about 5 to 11:30 at least. It's nuts. Not romantic. — The food is bland and tasteless with the exception of the desserts. (How anyone can make tasteless nachos is beyond me) — While we were there our vacation was disrupted by a water leak over the shower and the front door fell apart (attached). They were supposed to fix these things while we were out of the room for a couple of hours but when we got back they had just got there and wouldn't let me in! I eventually got them to leave. Very uncomfortable. — The concierge service is NOT a concierge service at all.

This place could not be more perfect. The view is amazing and the service cannot be beat. Everyone here is mind and quick to help with anything and everything. We still have 2 days left and have another dinner and the spa to look forward to. If we ever make it back to Puerto Villarta I know where we are staying.

Gotta love this place (assuming you want great al a carte meals and extraordinary staff service). Don't recall ever staying anywhere better.

This was our second stay at Villa Premiere, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to our first stay from about six years ago. The easiest way I can prove the slide in overall experience is to point to the fact that six years ago, VP had a computer set up in the lobby for departing guests to immediately leave feedback on their stay while at the property, and at that time, I enthusiastically provided a 5-star review. And we decided then that, without question, VP would be our hotel of choice for all return visits to Puerto Vallarta. That computer no longer is in the lobby, and I'm not at all surprised. But I'm extremely disappointed. Read below for why we won't return. 1. The rooms now have programmable AC units that shut off during the night, regardless of whether you try to override the unit. We were there in mid-April, so temps in the room in the middle of the night reached mid 70s with the accompanying humidity, making it an extremely uncomfortable sleeping experience; projecting into the summer months, well, good luck with that. You're forced to either get up multiple times a night to physically restart the AC or sleep in pools of sweat. Calling engineering doesn't help. 2. Visitors are told upon check-in that the hotel has a strict no-smoking policy everywhere except balconies. When guests were smoking at the pool, we asked employees to remind them of the no-smoking policy.

It is a beautiful place, has nice and comfortable rooms, corridors full of life and very good views of the interiors, large garden with swimming pools and a restaurant. It also has a wedding area and spectacular sunset view.

Good price, used Costco travel so no one tried to sell us a timeshare or other stuff. Facility was clean enough. Pretty well maintained. There is a small gym. Steam room and sauna at spa. All in all, good value, but not an amazing property.

My wife and I have vacationed in P. V. For 25 of the last 30 years. We lie on the beach and read, then go out for fine dining at night. We've gotten older, but the trips have gotten better, most notably by switching to the Villa Premier. We started by the marina at what was once a lovely resort but has become a megastructure of high rises. Plus, we wanted something closer to town and the Malecon. Last year we tried the Villa Premier and loved it. This year, I didn't want to come home. The facilities are above expectations for Mexico, the food excellent, the location perfect for beach and walks downtown. But our favorite feature is the hotel's staff. Led by the Concierge, Maria, we were greeted by a week of smiles and friendly hellos. What can we do for you? By arranging a birthday celebration with an eleven-piece mariachi band at our table, Maria made this the best trip of our three-decade love affair with the people and food and sun of Puerto Vallarta. Thanks to all at the Villa Premier, especially Maria and Javier, who served us at the outside bar with that same kindness and pleasure. Always a smile.

After the first night, we were moved to a new room which was peaceful and had a fantastic view of the bay. We were personally welcomed to our room by the head manager, Marco, who apologized for our trip not starting off the way we expected and left us some delicious fruit and chocolate, plus a very nice bottle of champagne on ice! The staff at Villa Premiere were all very friendly and ready to assist with any needs or questions we had. Marco was even able to get us checked in to our flight the day before we left and help us select seats when we had been trying and trying with no luck. The pool area is a nice place to relax and take a swim or relax on the lounges. They also have some really cool swinging beds that you can sleep on in the shade. The beach area has the same type of setup and the hotel staff are out there’s to ensure you’re well attended to or give you space if you just need some time to yourself. The other great thing about Villa Premiere is that it’s centrally located and you can walk all the way to Viejo Vallarta where there are tons of shops, vendors and activities all along the boardwalk.

Not much I can say from there, we spent very little time on the site, but it is possible to say that it is a good place to be.

This place is awesome! My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and had a blast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is awesome and freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The bar service is a perfect pour every time. No watered down drinks just perfect mixes. We ate breakfast every morning by the beach and it was wonderful with fresh orange juice and fruits. This place is a walk away from the local business and restaurants which are also wonderful or a short taxi ride. We are planning our next visit as I type. The rooms are super clean and spacious every one has an awesome view of the ocean. This place is low key and for adults only. It was nice to be addressed by my name from everyone there. Boutique hotels are the best way to go!

The service of the staff well in general, the vast majority always with a smile and good attitude although there were some that we heard saying some nasty reviews.
Excellent food, I think it is the best of the place. Menu always a la carte, great variety and very good taste. Congratulations to the chef.

This place really needs a lesson in customer service! I feel so bad that I recommended my friend book here, and he did the "all inclusive" package! What a bad deal that was! The staff are like the gustopo!

4.5 star to 1 star I am extremely disappointed with this property and the woman at reception I just spoke with. I had prepared a 4.5 star review for this property and now it's a 1 and I want to warn anyone who reads this review — don't stay at this property. After a 3-day stay, just 2 hours ago, I took a cab hailed and recorded by Villa Premier to go to the airport. (By "recorded" I mean that the hotel knew the driver and taxi as it was part of the group of yellow cabs that idle outside the hotel. ) The cab driver's name is Walter. I left my iphone in Walter's cab. I discovered this less than 10 min after getting out of cab and went directly to airport security. We called the hotel and they quickly got in touch with Walter. The said Walter DID have my phone and would come back in 10-15 min. I was so relieved and grateful … but I waited 20 min. And Walter NEVER returned. I found another security guard to call the hotel back and ask what the issue was: the hotel said "Walter had to pick up another family. Also he tells us he no longer had the phone. " Someone — either Walter or the hotel — lied to me. I am disgusted by this and the hotel has lost my trust.

We felt misled. In addition, there was construction going on in very third facility. The sound of concrete being sawed through does not really lend itself to relaxation. Finally, the beach is very small and you are constantly pestered by people trying to get you to buy stuff. We ended up spending most of our time relaxing by the pool enduring the sounds of construction.

The deal is excellent they do not let you move a finger, they receive you with a glass of wine in addition to a relaxing massage and to release stress.

The hotel definitely is not 5 stars, for the service, they did the housekeeping at 5 pm, the restaurant food was like plane food and very expensive for what it was, the rooms are small and the air conditioner was impossible to use at night by the noise I did, there were many details that disappointed me about the service, I ordered food to the room and it took hours, asked Bill and they got the wrong name, the menu has spelling mistakes in English, the bunk beds were broken and apart from all that is the hotel is Small and the sea in front is full of stones and it is impossible to get in, in general the very friendly people and a nice hotel but not a 5 star. Its not worth the money.

Location is great. It's right on the water and just a few blocks away from the boardwalk. Service is great and all the employees greet you with smiles on their faces. The one downside is constantly being bothered to invest in a timeshare or book a tour/adventure through them.

My wife and I had a great 27 anniversary at this resort. This is a 4 Diamonds resort and their staff are all Diamonds too. We had the best time at this Resort. The staff there is great. I will strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to go and enjoy a relaxation resort with no outside vendors coming to you while you are on a relax mode.

Best hotel in town. There may be bigger and more known hotels, but they'll never meet the same level of customer service that a small boutique hotel like this can offer. Food is excellent as well.

Excellent option to visit Puerto Vallarta. The hotel is not particularly large, so it makes you feel more comfortable than the big chains. 10 min walk to the boardwalk and good restaurants where to eat and dine. We opted to include only breakfast and enjoy the atmosphere of the city.

We arrived yesterday and this has to be the most relaxing hotel we have ever stayed at! Upon check in we were greeted by Jose and given two glasses of champagne. Check in was a breeze. They have a pillow menu and an aromatherapy menu for your room. Then it was time for our complimentary 10 minute massage which was amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we booked a couple's massage earlier today that was fantastic! Every staff member is professional and goes out of their way to make all guests feel welcome! The lounge chairs by the pool are wonderful. Hugo gets everyone towels and pillows for their chairs. I love how you don't have to get up at 5 am to get a chair. The food is top notch and presentation is amazing! We love the close proximity to downtown! This is definitely our new home away from home! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Very helpful hotel staff, free massage and champagne upon arrival. Nice and quiet location on the beach, but still a short ride away from the romantic zone. Friendly bartenders as well. Beach is Sandy, but some smooth rocks when you get in. Would come back again.

Excellent space to relax, the hotel is perfect for events and conventions, the prices are affordable and the service splendid.

My wife and just returned from our annual trip to VP in PV. The service and food are incredible. One of the most relaxing places we have found on the planet. We typically stay 4 or 5 nights per visit and stay on property our entire stay. We have found our beach at VP.

The hotel itself is nothing special, it is small, quite, not too busy. No kids, everything closes at 11. It is very nice choice if you want to relax. You can go outside of the resort for party! it is very safe, a lot of bars and clubs on boardwalk which is 10 minutes away from the hotel. But the real reason I wanted to write a review for this place and give them 5 star is that the restaurant employees are so nice, the food is amazing. They would prepare anything you want, you just need to wait for a while. We are vegans so it was hard for us to find smth on the menu. Waitresses all knew we are vegan right away. They were super nice to us and helpful and amazing. I miss them very much! I was very sad to leave this place because of them. We left them a very good tips, because I never met so many good people in one place. This is their job which they did great. I want to say thank you to all of you, hugo, javier, miguel russo, adam, I don't remember all of their names but those 4 were my favorite guys. I hope they will read it. Their manager did a very good job too, they work as a family and team. And they do everything to please their customers. We left very happy even though the hotel is obviously not the best, but the service is!

My husband (fiancé at the time) chose this location initially because they were part of COSTCO travel and we trusted the relationship. Also, it was not a mega chain hotel company, and we wanted the more boutique feel (smaller wedding 30 ppl). We began emailing almost a year before the wedding with Samantha originally, and then Kareli took over. I was a little skeptical because it was a different country and I was a little worried some details would get lost in translation. This was our experience in whole: Guests accommodations were easy to make Hotel staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience Food was amazing! (expect the wait, its strategic and well worth the wait) Every detail of our wedding was met, and exceeded our expectations. They know what they are doing! Kareli is an amazing wedding coordinator, and will handle every detail. I don't remember everyone's names, but Joaquin, Julio, Kareli, are the people you want to deal with. Rooms were VERY clean and maids did an exceptional job considering it was our wedding and there was several nights with party's in our hotel room. They didn't scoff once at our mess! Amenities were amazing. We did the massage, yoga, I had hair and make up done for my wedding, gym. What ever we wanted or needed it was handled by concierge or someone there. We cant speak highly enough of this place and plan to do an anniversary visit every year.

Beautiful resort and perfect location. Close walking distance to the Malecon and shops. The food at the resort was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Service at the hotel was extraordinary and we were definitely made to feel special. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a great stay at this hotel. We came here for our honeymoon with the main objective just to relax by the pool or the beach and do very little else. We didn't do the all inclusive and there were plenty of small and large restaurants just walking distance from the hotel. Plenty of little hole in the wall taco shops and larger, more modern restaurants towards the boardwalk only a ten minute walk away. We also used the spa on two occasions for massages and facials are were happy with both the service and the price. The beach is right at the back doorstep of the hotel and they provide deck chairs and a few lounge beds on the beach as well as food and drink service right on the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

An adult oriented resort well worth the visit. Outstanding food and service My wife and I did the all inclusive. People were even taking pictures of the dish when it was delivered to the table. This hotel is also an easy walk to the Malecon. People well worthy of mention. Luis Maldonado the Chief Concierge, Gabriella and Hugo in the restaurant, Faustino in the breakfast restaurant and Tony at the poolside and swim up bar. Our stay was from Oct 6-Oct 13 2014. Great work people. We will be back.

My husband and I honeymooned at the Villa Premiere, a boutique hotel. We chose the all-inclusive package and stayed for three days (Tuesday-Thurday). I have to say, it was the most relaxing and beautiful experience of my life. We went the second week of July, so we weren't expecting the best weather — typically stormy during July. But to our surprise, the weather was perfect, just slightly hot and humid. Checking-in, we were offered a welcoming massage, WOW. Our room as wonderfully-well kept and the view from our honeymoon suite was unforgettable. If you ask the concierge ahead of time, they can prepare the hot tub with rose petals, bubbles, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. You absolutely should choose the all-inclusive package. The restaurant food was delicious. As a Mexican, I can say that the food definitely has touches of authenticity, although it is a little watered down for tourists. It also includes all-you-can-drink at the bar. The hotel only has two pools (as apposed to the other hotels who have numerous pools), but the Villa Premier has it's sister hotel right next door, who has a couple of more pools. You can visit the sister hotel and enjoy its accommodations as well, which it totally awesome! I should also add that the drinks are much better at the Villa Premiere. You also cannot beat the location of the Villa Premier. All the other bigger named hotels are not close to the "downtown district" of Vallarta.

Great food and service in a nice, convenient spot. I wanted a hotel with close proximity to the Old Town (as we had shows to see just about every night in Old Town), but gave me the beach experience. We didn't need all-inclusive because we were going to try local Puerto Vallarta restaurants before our shows. This hotel fit those criteria, was adult-only (a nice-to-have for this trip) and had the bonus of the pier where you can have dinner and massages practically in the ocean. The hotel is on the small side (83 rooms). But all rooms have some sort of ocean view. The size can be a negative if you're looking for resort restaurant choices and facilities, but if you don't care too much about that, or you intend to go into town (like us), then this is great! Food selection in the restaurant was great. From the moment you come in, the staff is excellent. You are given a free drink, asked what "scent" you would like in your room, and are given a welcome massage while they finish your room. The hotel had some minor maintenance issues (phone didn't work, safe was annoying) and could use some updating in places (woodwork/decorative bedding has seen better days). Like many reviewers, I had booked a king-size bed but was given two double beds. They don't ask if that's okay — they just do it. I assume they hope people won't complain. Listening at the pool side, it seems this kind of thing happens a lot.

My husband and I visited the Villa Premier at the end of November and beginning of December 2013. We stayed 4 nights, all inclusive package. We chose Villa Premier because it was near Old Town ("the Romantic Zone"), was all inclusive, and does not allow children under 18. We've already recommended this resort to numerous of our friends. From the moment we stepped in the door, the staff at Villa Premier treated us like royalty. As we were checking in, we were offered glasses of champagne. We were offered a pillow menu, and were asked how we would like our room scented — we picked sandalwood. As we waited for our room to be prepared, we were offered a complementary hand and neck massage, which was the perfect way to get us relaxed for our vacation. A concierge explained the surrounding area to us, and offered us a number of excursions for purchase. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were greeted with the scent of sandalwood each time we entered. The bed was comfortable. We were not disturbed by noise from the surrounding area or from other rooms. The staff was extremely professional, hard working, and accommodating. From the room butler, to the waiters, to the bell desk, everyone left me with a positive experience. Of special note were DAVID, I believe he was the restaurant host, and ARTURO, one of the waiters. The resort's three restaurants were excellent. Every meal was delicious, luxurious, and displayed beautiful presentation.
