Iconic Oceanfront Mexican style Hotel right out of the 1950s nothing has changed but a newer elevator Great monthly rates and the balconies are close to the ocean … waves put you to sleep at night.

I'll give you two. 5 stars, my experience was regular, there was no hot water the first two days the, hotel looks a bit old sloppy, our bed was not the best, it has good location a few meters from the Malecon. If they are not demanding it goes well.

Great location, however the place is horribly run down and nothing is being fixed, or painted or anything. We had 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. Sheets are super thin and rips in places, pillows are as old as the place. The people working there are very nice and helpful.

The place is quiet and has the advantage of being close to the beach; However this a bit sloppy in the furniture in the rooms, no TV, no air conditioning and sometimes the cleanliness is not good.

Very economical for the location n at which it is located. With an excellent view of the new malecon. Old facilities and toilet acceptable. The pool is not heated.

We were there my family and I and the hotel has good location but it is super deteriorated, we had several observations and we did know how that the bathroom would throw water under the cup, the table lamps were not serving and they are all rusty, my parents stayed waxed In the elevator, usually the hot water is not there, we booked a room with air conditioning and we were told the reception and the reservation manager who did not have and then a worker told us that there were two rooms available but that those left Only for the "AMERICANS" when we are supposed to be equal and we were paying for a service, we asked for our refund to look for another hotel and they returned it to us but an older gentleman with a super ugly character, despotism the Lord.
If anything serves you this opinion for your next reservation take in how much!

It is not luxury but this nice spacious rooms clean, Excellent location… if I return in my next vacation first god.

I give two stars for the good times on this site but for 20 years I've been visiting Playa Los Muertos do not change anything all the same but in worse condition, the baths of the pool are always very dirty towels in the rooms very old. Should give it a good maintenance if we stay at this hotel each visit is for remembering old times.

Authentic Mexico hotel on the beach at the new pier. The prices are Mexico prices as is the charm and congenial atmosphere. It is like coming home to Mexico with sunsets like no where else.
