Looking for a more boutique hotel, we spent 4 nights here. We wanted the all inclusive but without the buffets and crowds. The best part of the hotel is the staff who are happy, joyful and willing to go out of their way to make your vacation special.

We went for our babymoon and it was perfect and so relaxing! Food and service are top notch and it’s a beautiful resort. The beach club was our favorite part for lounging at the pool and dinner at night. I’ve also been with family in the past. Not a party resort, if luxurious, chill, and relaxing with amazing food is what you’re looking for it’s perfect.

We just got back from a four night stay here and can not stop talking about how amazing our stay was. The staff is some of the kindest and most attentive I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, the food was good, and Freddy at the bar makes delicious cocktails and gives the best service! Clean, romantic, relaxing, and everything you could want in a stay! We will be back!

We simply love this hotel. The moment you enter the gates, it feels like you have entered paradise. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, the suites are spacious with comfortable bed and Housekeeping comes like 3x a day. There is no screaming baby, no kids splashing water on you at the pool and no wait at the restaurants. When I need to unplug from everything or an Adult only vacation, Casa Velas is my go to spot.

Excellent option for rest and good service.

I experienced an accident upon checking in to the resort. There is a pond with rocks on the bottom. The water is very still, it looked like a carpet. I walked right in to it and sprained my knee and injured hip. I had just had knee replacement a few months before. Staff helped me to my room. I missed all the activities that evening because of this accident. They asked me if I wanted a dr. I said I would see my surgeon when I got home in 2 days. All I wanted was for them to replace my shoes because they were destroyed in that filthy water. Never heard anything from them from that point on. We left messages for manager that were never returned. Many people told me that they were warned about the “pond” upon walking in to the lobby, I was not warned. Would never ever recommend this place. Zero guest services.

If you like a quiet adults only resort with great service and fantastic food, search no longer. This is our 4th trip to Casa Velas and we are never disappointed.

The room is amazing. The view from my room is gorgeous. Our first night here on our second visit to Casa Velas, it feels like we came home.

My husband and I have been coming here for 15 years as our favorite getaway vacation. We love the peace and quiet, and the adults only policy. The excellent service from everyone; who wants you to be happy and have everything you need, is much appreciated.

So relaxing! The food was delicious, room service was amazing, the room was quite and secluded! We had a great time. One of the best massages at the spa. My husband and I spent a week here. Went to the sister family friendly resort one day to hang at the pool and try their restaurant. We preferred staying put after that. Great service! Great food! Great everything!

For an all inclusive trip. I wanted to extend my gratitude towards the servers and added extra tips. When I was leaving I assume I did not have to check out, and was told that if I didn’t pay the extra tip-keep in mins all included, they asked me to leave. They would not let me back in my room to get my things and kept my credit card. Also they sent me to other resorts knowing I would not be able to stay there. I go to mexico every year and would not recommend as well because the food was not up to par for a 5 star.

This place is absolutely breathtaking. The staff is so pleasant, they make you feel so welcome and at home.

My husband and had not been to an all inclusive resort in a long time. We loved spending 24 days at Casa Velas. The staff who took care of our arrival was very warm and made us feel at home. Armando, Nabila, Marco, Kelly and the Geraldine were fantastic in servicing our needs in a time of pandemic. Chef Isaac from Emilio’s restaurant offered to prepare custom meals for us that were not part of the menu. His service staff: Victor, Rocio & Gustavo were probably some of the best waiters and bar tenders we have encountered… always there to please.
The resort, the gym, common bathrooms, around the pool and our rooms were always impeccable.
During our stay, we had the opportunity to dine at Grand Velas in Riviera Nayarit. It was a beautiful dining experience and a gorgeous resort. We highly recommend Casa Velas 5⭐️. We intend to revisit once the pandemic is over.

We have been here now 3 times and during these uncertain times, there’s NO where else we would go. They took our health and safety incredibly seriously while not sacrificing our experience. We are forever grateful to have found such a wonderful place.

I love Casa Velas it’s truly a special place. The staff are warm friendly and attentive The property is breathtaking green and lush. The rooms are spacious, authentic Mexico hacienda decor. The beach club and restaurant was fantastic. Dinner and mariachi was amazing. We did mixology class, we enjoyed the gym spa and Golf.
This property is Romantic and a true oasis. The name is perfect Casa you feel very relaxed as at home.

I have been going every year for 15 years. It is intimate, elegant, and yet friendly. It is small enough that you are able to meet new friends and make relationships. If anything is imperfect, it is taken care of immediately! The food service is wonderful! They bend over backwards to please. The spa is small enough to be personal, and the staff is lovely and professional.

I have to say that the experience was overall amazing. My girlfriend and I took this trip to get away from work and relax. We stayed from August 4-11th which was during the rainy season but even then we rarely had the rain effect our trip. Every single staff member we came across was very courteous to us during our stay. Just wanted to give a quick shout out to some of them like Benny (bartender), Caesar (driver), Francisco (server), and I forgot his name but he mostly worked the Aqua Bar (Bartender) by the pool. I was also impressed that each night, at each dinner location there was live entertainment. Then after dinner there was live entertainment in the lounge for late night drinks. I have to say I loved the night time entertainment. Spider (the magician) and the female vocalist both did a great job. All them did an outstanding job. Clearly going above and beyond. It was our first trip to this location but I doubt it will be our last. That doesn't mean there weren't small issues. The issues I did see were not very big and I will refrain from putting them on this because I don't wish to discourage others from not going after seeing them.

This place is fantastic. I went in August and there were very few people there. It's the slow season and if you're looking for quiet, then the perfect time to go. Service waiting on you at all times and the all inclusive nature of the property spans beyond the food and amenities, but to the overall atmosphere and incredible vibe of such a magnificent resort. I highly recommend it!

Casa Velas was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I don't know that I can ever go to Puerto Vallarta and not stay at this hotel. If I did I'd be taking a HUGE RISK. The service, the restaurant, the food, the rooms… EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. All the employees were so nice. Benny, Fredy, Luis (our favorite driver), and Gerardo at the pool bar were all incredible people who were great to get to know. Thank you for making our honeymoon amazing!

The best Luxury hotel we have ever experienced. First of all the staff was the most pleasant and very sincere. Went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and accommodate your every needs. Louis the manager very helpful with extra activities and great ideas for a couple to enjoy. Benny, one of the many bartenders was awesome. The music and wonderful food topped off the evening with relaxing live music. The rooms exceeded every expectation. The view is absolutely gorgeous. We will be returning and highly recommend Casa Velas as a affordable and enjoyable vacation destination. Thank you everyone for making our vacation a memory we wont forget.

Casa Velasquez is a Boutique Hotel in Puerto Valletta. This is one of the best places to come and re energize your mind, body and soul. The cuisine is outstanding with a wide variety of options for the week. Whether you order room service by your personal plunge pool or paella at the Beach Club in the evening you will be pleased.

I am so glad to be home. I have traveled the world. Vacationed in PV over 25 visits and hands down this is the only resort I will spend my vacations when in Mexico.
The staff is attentive, kind and take care of any of your needs. The food is impeccable and always on point. Casa Velas is my home away from home.

We went there on our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more perfect time! The staff was amazing! We cannot say enough wonderful things about them especially Benny! Even the way they greet you is warm and friendly. The food was wonderful and even if you wanted something not on the menu, they not only accommodated your request but the food turned out fantastic! The resort was clean to the point that it reminded us of Disney — as in no trash or if there was it disappeared. There is also a singer, Melina, and she has a beautiful voice and was there almost every night for cocktails.

Great staff, love the adults only vibe. The Ocean Club is the best place with the best drinks (The Dragon). The food is well done and has great variety. The romantic private jungle feel to the yard off the room was so wonderful. Slow paced, not a party atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful resort properties we have ever stayed in! It is a quiet boutique hotel that was exactly what we were looking for. We just wanted to relax and be pampered for a week and we definitely received our money's worth! There was some communication issues with our maid service regarding too early turn down service but that was just minor inconvenience. Overall, it was a wonderful week spent in paradise!

Another year, another absolutely amazing vacation at Casa Velas! They never cease to live up to the highest standards, which is why this has become my annual trek for the ultimate in 'perfect' pampering. The team of employees at Casa Velas, the rooms and grounds, and oh!, the food at Emiliano's restaurant deserve every one of their 5 star rating!

A beautiful place, an extremely well-kept hotel and a high quality restaurant! No direct access to the sea but a pleasant stroll to go in 10 minutes by crossing the golf…

This was our second year at Casa Velas. Our reaction — — and frankly, the reaction of every other guest with whom we spoke — — was: "This is the best. " Excellent physical plant, employees who ALL go out of their way to be helpful, delicious food artfully prepared and presented. We love it and will return next year.

Overall we loved our trip here. The service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. We wished that the smoking areas were further away from the pools and restaurants, they are very close and the smoke goes right in your face, we did not like that at all. The hot tub doesn't really work and isn't really any hotter than the regular pool. Lastly, there are tip jars at every bar, which seems wrong given this is all inclusive. Yes, people do give tips, but leaving the tip jars out in plain sight doesn't seem right. The improvements I suggest are minor, the place was wonderful and we would go back, it's very relaxing.

Casa Velas is the most beautiful, intimate place to go for relaxation, and a pampering get away. The staff is so caring and attentive. They all are so pleasant and happy to help you with what ever you need. Always greet you by name and smiling. They have excellent food with beautiful presentation. Very nice spacious rooms that are kept very nice and clean. Lots of detail and well manicured grounds.

This is a different type of resort for people looking for quiet, low key relaxing pampering. The small size allows a family feeling, and the consistent staff quickly learn your preferences and do everything to meet your needs. There is no ocean view, the rooms a a bit older and maybe smaller. The people and food are the draw. There is a private beach that is walking or shuttle distance away with a bar and snack area. The same personal treatment is there, too.

Very good experience, ideal to spend some time of real rest and peace. Excellent facilities, all staff offer the best possible service. Really if you like peace and quiet, this is the best hotel. 100% recommended.

Great Hotel! Oasis of Tranquility near everything (airport and city centre 10 minutes by taxi, beach and marina within walking distance). Impeccable, courteous and warm Service. Great worries about food restrictions and allergies, succulent food. Beautiful Private beach Club. You have to admire the sunset. Room Small private pool on the terrace overlooking the golf. Memorable stay.

Casa Velas is the perfect relaxation vacation. Our biggest decision is Beach Club, or staying at Casa for the day, or for dinner! We have been home for four days and still feel calm! We have been here several times, and each time they do some little change that makes it even better. And what is special to us, is we see the same faces greeting us and giving us superb service. We'll be back.

Excellent hotel! This is a lovely hotel boutique and very well located. The staff was excellent, very helpful and responsive. The good was also excellent. I would recommend this hotel!

I went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary, and I want to highlight that Alberto reservations was excellent even after my journey as I supported to ask questions and to follow up on my stay, and I got my bill; it is really a employees worthy of mention. On the stay I was left to duty, the service is good in the dry, yes a gift in the room but not focus on our celebration, which for us was a very important occasion. In the restaurants the regular service, in my anniversary dinner did not do anything extraordinary, and even my cut was not to my liking as I ordered it, they were slow and had to ask several times for things, and in room service I had an incident very unpleasant. In this regard, on receipt supported a little bit, but I don't think anyone gave the importance. There were two people who stood out, the captain, Victor in the Restaurant Maximilian and Cesar at the pool bar, who talked with us for a while and were the only ones that made us feel a greeting sincere. Also the areas well with the exception of the toilets in the pool area where I was surprised by the poor condition and lack of cleanliness. Being objective in general the service was, again, good to dry, but not of diamonds; I think you have many details to take care of.

Grounds were lush and beautiful, including exotic friendly animals (Pancho the Peacock was a favorite). Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Our pool side bar keep, Roberto, was entertaining, friendly and professional. Food was outstanding with plenty of variety. Can't wait to go back!

We went to Casa Velas for our honeymoon and it was an incredible experience. The all-inclusive route was well worth it with amazing food and drinks. The staff was absolutely tremendous and made us feel at home at the resort. Interestingly, the other guests we met there were on their fourth, fifth, or sixth times at the resort, which pretty much tells you how great this place is — — people want to come back. I know we plan on it too.

Excellent customer service and beautiful grounds with a nearby beach club. Upon arrival, you're greeted by friendly faces with a refreshing welcome drink, massage, and cooling towel. Quick check-in process and very attentive staff. Very relaxing and sophisticated all-inclusive resort with a spa, beautiful pool, gym, and daily activities. Their signature "hand on the heart" greeting is symbolic of the superior customer service and guest appreciation. Only had breakfast and a late night room service but they were delicious. Hope to be able to return in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The grounds, lobby, restaurant, beach club, and pool areas are very nice. The service is amazing. However, the disappointment comes when you enter your room. We did not want to spend any time in the room because it was so depressing.

Every year when we return to the Casa Velas family, it gets better and better. Besides the wonderful rooms and facilities, and also the amazing food, the staff continue to do everything they can to makes your stay one you will not soon forget. Every year the improvements that they make keep the place fresh and new. This year had the best food by far of any of the previous 7 stays we have had here. All of these great things will keep us coming back for years to come.

Our second visit in 5 weeks. We love it! We can just relax and enjoy the sun. Service and food very good. Thanks to Jorge, the concierge who gets things done before you finish a sentence. Bennie at the foyer bar already has started your drink before you sit down. Daniel at the beach club and the other beach club staff are so kind and accommodating. The manager, Karina, is totally visible. She addresses all guests by name and just wants to please and make sure you are happy. All the staff is wonderful. A great experience from beginning to end. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere. Not a resort for those looking for loud music and rowdy vacation. Every night before dinner they have wonderful events, cigar roller, artist in residence, that you can paint with. Musicians as well as wine tastings and the fun Saturday Evening Casino Night! Took another couple this time with us and they enjoyed the wonderful experience as well. Thank you to all of the staff I did not mention by name.

From the time you arrive until the day you leave they make you feel like royalty. This was our third visit and most definitely won't be our last. All the rooms are absolutely beautiful, food is out of this world & service is top notch.
What stands out the most for us & keeps us coming back is the staff. Jorge (A), Enrique, Cruz, Rafael & Alonso are the absolute best. Benny at the hotel bar is awesome, a great people person. Jorge (B) at the beach club is always so friendly & happy. All of these guys can't do enough for you. Casa Velas is lucky to have them!

Casa Velas is an amazing resort. We just got back from a 4 day stay and I couldn't have been happier. The room was amazing — we had a 1st floor room with a small pool on our patio that was gorgeous. The staff was so accommodating the entire trip. Resort is very relaxing, like a spa type atmosphere (not a party place) and the Beach Club is super close and gorgeous. There are only 2 restaurants but the menu changes daily and the room-service was great.

Fantastic Experience! We traveled with 2 other couples and completely enjoyed ourselves. We were waited on as though we were royalty. There was no request to small or to large — everything was done effortlessly and with a smile. The servers gave us a lovely send off on our last night with a huge dessert platter and large sparkly candles — as they told us to have a safe trip home. WOW! Breakfast the next morning on our last day — the same thing — the morning staff brought out a little cake with an iced message to "have a safe trip". Oh and how can I forget "Dinner in the Sky" — a valentines day dinner I'll not soon forget! Now don't go for the dinner — but go for the experience. (Dinner was not good. ) But we had a blast — signing, clapping and sipping wine in the sky. And the firework show… FANTASTIC! We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Very good hotel and service, the best places.

Great place for a honeymoon or a vacation to escape. No kids at this place. Very quiet and laid back. The restaurants on site were amazing. Be sure to bring a pair of pants, they are needed for the dress code. The Beach Club has just as good food and amazing views. Would love to come back some day.

An unforgettable experience, the best.

The exceptional service is what sets this place apart. This is the type of place you come to if you want to truly unwind! What a lovely, intimate atmosphere. This is not the type of place you come to if you are looking for a crazy nightlife (although I am sure you can find it if you venture off the resort). But it is the type of place where you will feel completely relaxed! The staff were tremendous (I can't say enough good about them! ), the grounds beautiful, and the food was GREAT! If you need to be right on the beach then this isn't where you want to stay, as you will have to either walk the ten mins or take a 2 minute shuttle ride to the beach club. While some might say the hotel is looking a little dated, we just thought it was purely Mexican charm! The only thing we felt this resort was lacking was nightly entertainment. It did get a little boring at night and we aren't the types to stray too far from our resort in the evening. (TIP — spend a little extra to get a bigger suite). If we visit PV again we would not hesitate to stay at Casa Velas!

The most beautiful hotel grounds! Makes up for the fact it's not on the beach — but the beach club is incredible, quiet beach, great food! The dining room food is delightful. Service is the best. Loved staying here and would do it again first chance I get.

Casa Velas is this paradise you didn't think existed, from the moment you arrive there is a perceived atmosphere of absolute peace and relaxation, all the corners are finely decorated, the service staff is very attentive, the beach club is fantastic, you can spend countless hours enjoying the good drinks and I must mention the Restaurant Emiliano ideal for enjoying a Gourmet Dinner in the that you offer to accompany her with a wine pairing exceptional. Without a doubt, Casa Velas is ideal to enjoy in couple.

We had a great vacation here with friends. The staff was exceptional and always willing to help. The food was excellent. The drinks great. The spa relaxing. We can't wait to go back!
