Good location, close to Malecon, across the street from Lake Chapala Society a great place to get help and contacts for immigration to Mexico and easy walk to multiple restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly. Internet was fine. Stayed 10 days in November 2023.

A great location in downtown Ajijic. However; It is time for a renovation. The bed was comfortable. Pillows were great. Floor tiles chipped, needed to be sprayed. The hotel needed a bit of love. Small towels, one face cloth. Staff was nice, breakfast was minimal at best. Cute hotel with great potential. LOVED The turtles <3 Please give the mirador a facelift.

We only stayed one night but it was so beautiful. We will be back without a doubt and will stay at Hotel Casa Blanca again!

Very comfortable and very quiet. Intimate, yet private. Absolutely perfect location if you want to embrace Ajijic. Everything you want is within walking distance including great restaurants, shops, the plaza, and gyms. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The other guests are all happy too, so you can enjoy each other’s company if you choose. Plenty of comfortable common areas to relax including a nice mirador. Nice breakfast every morning, which is usually the only time you encounter the other guests. We are extremely comfortable here.

Sweet hotel in the downtown within walking distance of everything. Hotel staff committed to excellence.

Great location. Great staff. Rooms are dated but comfortable. Be ready for mosquitoes. Breakfast is not great but excellent restaurants nearby.

Good location, very old and clogged shower, should have curtains so that not between the light, is a resting place and should take care of those details.

Great Location, Great People, Clean Room Make sure to check the price on the web and at the front desk before you book, for the best price. As a bonus (at least for some), the side entrance to the Chapala society's gardens is basically across the front entrance of the hotel! Also, the front desk (Matt, the owner and everyone else) were super helpful with everything (from where to eat to looking for New Balance shoes in Guadalajara, recommendations for where to stay in Guadalajara and things to do there, etc). They also said that they would accept packages for us. The breakfast included fresh cut melons, fresh bananas, various cereals, fresh milk, coffee and tea (hot water and tea bags), orange juice, yogurt and granola! As well as toast and breakfast cakes (and likely other items I don't recall now, and I forgot to take a picture of the breakfast). Wi-Fi was OK at the table under the window, inside room 3. Nothing great but nothing bad, either. Due to proximity to the beach, you can hear night life until 2 AM some nights, but that volume low, much less than the amazing and wonderful bird songs that you hear (everywhere) so it didn't bother us any. If you are a super light sleeper, then make sure to pack ear plugs as you will need them regardless of where you stay in the lake area (let's not forget church bells: 20-30 in a row, several times a day, at all hours of night or day — 7 AM, midnight, etc — they didn't bother us here).

Wonderful Stay. I stayed here with my family for a week in April 2018. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, while simple, was helpful. The only thing I would add is, frozen boiled eggs is a very bad idea. The hotel is well located and you could walk to the lake and you restaurants easily. The only negative point is the beds. The beds sagged badly and good sleep became difficult.

Small boutique hotel right in the heart of ajijic. It's so close to all the sights and restaurants. You could literally go anywhere just by walking from here. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Jesus suggestions for dinner were great.

Beautiful cute and charmimg hotel boutique, the owner and manager are absolutely kind. Continental breakfast is offered every morning and the rooms are clean. It is a great place to stay in Ajijic.

Very dissatisfied with our stay. They were doing renovations during the day which were not mentioned when me made reservations or during and subsiquent conversations we had with the hotel. Sanding and staining furniture in the courtyard ruined any relaxation time. Sawdust everywhere and the stench of stain very dissatisfied, should have been offered a discount or partial refund.

Top notch! We have been coming to Hotel Casa Blanca for multiple years, and have never been disappointed. Accommodations are great, staff are beyond supportive and kind. English speaking staff are helpful with all Ajajic questions and recommendations… We hope to repeat this journey and stay at Hotel CB again.

Quaint Hotel, reasonable room pet friendly.

The receptionist speak english, the hotel is a nice place to stay, the only problem is that you can hear the other guest allí the Time.

This hotel is a bag full of awesome. Personalized service, where the staff and owner go over the top to help you get the most out of your vacation. Want a car rental, but don't know who to rent from in town? They do! How about that unique restaurant, but you can't read Spanish and Google isn't helping? Well, they will! Meredith is a treat, too. Classy yet warm, with a bit of zip mixed in — — bottled in a smoky, green carafe! That's Meredith, and she'll take the time to know you, and thereby, just what you need during your stay. Stay here, weary traveler, and worry for naught. The only downside of this wonderful hotel, is that they don't know how to spell Morocco. But you can't have it all, and it's those little quirks that make someone special.

I visited Casa Blanca in order to check it out for some high school friends I haven't seen in 50 years, who are coming to Mexico in January. The concierge, Meredith, toured me through the hotel and showed me several rooms that were quite lovely, and exceeded my expectations. Casa Blanca is in an ideal location for my friends to visit the Lake Chapala Society, the Malecon, Ajijic Plaza, and many other locations. I highly recommend this hotel!

I just returned home to California after spending a week at Hotel Casa Blanca. This is a great place with lots of character in the heart of Ajijic. Matt, Meredith and Jesus were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place close to the lake, the plaza and all the small galleries, shops, bars and restaurants.

Rooms with king size bed, kitchen counter and fridge a little crowded for two people but located close to restaurants in central Ajijic and quieter than most. Owner and assistant are great guys.

Centrally located, friendly and attentive staff. We had a large room with a comfortable bed. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

We've visited Ajijic for almost 40 years but never stayed at Casa Blanca until one weekend when almost everyplace was booked solid. The only room available was for two people (we were a group of three) but when we arrived, we discovered the owners had shuffled things around to arrange an individual bed for all of us. I love Casa Blanca. It feels like Humphrey Bogart is going to walk in and have a drink, and the location is perfect. But it's the owners and staff that take it over the top. Their hospitality is wonderful.

The facilities are basics, if you travel for work you don't need more, comfortable and clean, but if you ask bill olvidalo, you are asked to leave data (in my case, lost) and was a martyrdom to speak day after day and find out that the person billing name Miriam, only works from 9:00-10:00 am … and lost my data… not made >: (

The facilities have everything they need, the problem is when you ask for bill… not come and speak to ask and the this year Miriam only works from 9:00 to 10:00 am and if we add to that that lost the data of billing = to impossible to get bill.

We had a great 15 day stay at Hotel Casa Blanca. The owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made sure we got what we asked for. We felt like one of the hotel 'family' from the moment we got there very late one Sat night. Matt, the owner, had waited for us to arrive before going home. The translation Meredith, the hotel manager, provided was invaluable. We had a little kitchenette room that worked out great. Just enough kitchen furnishings to make it possible to modestly eat in if we wanted to. The frig is roomy and worked out great. Newcomers will find the location excellent. The hotel is just across from the Lake Chapala Society, a club for Expats. People there are quite friendly to strangers as well. Although the hotel accommodations are modest, the basics are all there and the units are cleaned daily. What you give up in luxury, you gain in friendliness and convenience. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Casa Blanca without reservation. Thanks to you all for making our first stay in Ajijic a memorable one. We will definitely be back.
