A place very peaceful and quiet, and not expensive, very friendly staff, the manager or owner is an excellent person, there are already 3 times q I stayed at this hotel and I love it.

We were in Cozumel on a cruise ship, so we were only there for a day. We asked our taxi driver to take us to a good Local restaurant and Costa Brava is where he took us. This is a very quaint/cute place. The owner came out and talked to us as we were a large group. She was very friendly and helpful. She took our orders and brought us our food piping hot. The food was very tasty with just the right spiciness, and I do like spicy food! None of us drink, so she only asked us 1 time if we would like anything to drink. We ate, and sat there and talked with the owner for a good while. I would very much recommend this place. We loved it. It was a bit pricey, but we WILL go back next time we are in Cozumel, which will be in Sept of this year, 2016.

It's a amazing hotel, exceptional service and very kind person who works in that place, I recommend that hotel like the best and cheapest place in the island.

Really think the other reviewers are on the payroll. All of the food was served room temperature. Everything we ordered was extremely bland. We asked ahead of time if they took American dollars-they said they preferred it and charged us an awful conversion rate. They even charged us for the chips-which were stale and we did not order-they just brought to our table. The enchiladas were soggy. The milanesa was burnt and the shrimp tacos were soaked in grease. All with no flavor whatsoever.

Food was good, service was friendly, prices not cheap but at least better than on the main drag. Only downside was the owner's determination to get our group drunk on tequila. Be careful.

I wish that I could rate this restaurant higher. The food was good, the service was good, and the ambiance was good. The problem was with the bill. Our expectation was that the meal would cost less than or equal to the same meal at a local Mexican restaurant in the states (as most things in Mexico cost less there). The total cost was 2-3 times higher than that of an equivalent meal in the states. We felt that we were taken advantage of because we were tourists and did not speak the language. Maybe they charged $20-$30 dollars each for the Wi-Fi? Maybe I should have argued longer about the bill. The exchange rate they charged was not anywhere close to the current rate. Tourists beware.
