The rooms were a kind of hot, but clean. The bed madras a little too soft. Excellent was the sereque and tlacuache that are very busy in the hotel garden. The garden could be a little pepped up maybe with some colored lamps. There is a fire place, but was never in use. Big plus you can store your bag in a big locker with own padlock for free if you go on a two days excursion fx.

Excellent hostel, very well set in the most beautiful of Palenque.

Staff were helpful when asked for it (not much initiative). Main bathrooms were very smelly, tough to use. Dorms were alright, nothing special. Not much of a vibe in the hostel.

Well it wasn't my first choice but I arrived at midnight and every posada in town was booked. So I ended up in that hostel that I already knew the bad reviews, which proved true. Quite expensive (210 pesos in dormitory without breakfast) and it doesn't worth it. First of all the internet signal doesn't reach at rooms but only in reception. Even so it's still weak and bad. The guys from reception justified saying that internet sucks generally in Palenque but it's not true (even Wi-Fi in ado station is better). In addition the mattresses were absolutely uncomfortable (I could feel all the springs) and the main lobby dark and not cozy. In my case the sheets were still wet from the laundry. Not worth it.

Hostel cabin is in the jungle. Very beautiful setting.

A choice of accommodation remember that it gets very hot in this area and complicates the issue of sancudos and already after or you know that you peak.

It was ok. Wi-Fi was really slow and there isn't much going on. It's ok to make a stop here to see the ruins in Palenque and there are other nice people around but don't expect much more. The beds aren't very good and the bathrooms weren't so nice.

It is a very nice and tidy place but it has some maintenance hassles. In my room there was a cockroach and the ceiling fan to a lot of noise, making it difficult to sleep. The service, regular, has good location and the price per mattress $210.00, something high.
I'll give you a 3-star.

If I like it, especially being a hostel has everything you need to pass the. Night without anyone bothering you …

Nice place to stay, but shity Wi-Fi, so you can't plane the next step on your tour and that is imho an important part of a hostel…

This is the second time I have stayed there and I was not disappointed. It follows the good service and the excellent atmosphere of two years ago I visited it.

Decent hostel with modest facilities. Staff clearly did not car about the hostel vibe and the hostel itself lacked the energy and proper areas to meet people. Wifi is limited to the lounge as well.

Good location. Place is clean and tidy. Attention is not that good.

Good hostel with lots of customers from the Internet. If you're always booking online, stop it. In Palenque you can get bargains like hotel posada toucan double room for 300. Or posada san antonio, humble double room for 100 pesos. You won't book that online, but I bet they have space all year.

It's alright price, 180 pesos for a dorm. But Wifi didn't work and it gets a bit warm in the rooms with just fans to cool it down.

Average. The hostel is quiet and located in a beautiful lush garden. You can use the kitchen to cook your own meal even though it lacks some basics, like spoons for example! The downside are the painfully super slow internet that you also can only use around the reception area and the staff, unconsistent. Some are nice but the rest are not unpleasant but you can see that they're really not bother and you also feel like you're disturbing them (while eating, playing games on internet or whatever seems more interesting than helping the guests…! )

Beautiful hostel in a beautiful place. Actual rate for dorm was much less than posted on various sites, I did not make reservation in advance. Very reasonable rate for a dorm. Walking distance from bus terminal, and an actual sign at the traffic circle to show you which way to go, though I missed it on my first attempt.
