A disastrous and unsanitary hotel I do not recommend at all…
A superior room is equivalent to 2 twin beds wooden box spring and with thin mattresses where you have the springs visible because they are completely out of use so forget to spend a good night.
The rest of the furniture is out of order and to top it all off a leak in the bathroom.
No shower head.
Sheets out of use.
Busy road with incessant noise all night and the lights of the mini balconies stay on all night with half-opaque curtains.
The food is not acceptable for a 4 star as well as everything else.
We are the only one night and hotel do not want to reimburse us for going elsewhere!
To flee absolutely.

Room spacious and clean, we enjoyed the food, especially the salad bar and deserts. Most of the staff polite and helpful. 10-15 minute stroll to the centre. Good budget all inclusive hotel.
just small criticism, when arriving you will notice there is no assistance with your cases, you have to drag them up the entrance steps with no ramp or lift. This was an issue for elderly and infirm. All inclusive alcohol is not the best, very limited.

I just got word of your unbending position regarding our reimbursement. I just wanted to tell you guys that you are absolutely idiotic and evil. The treatment we received by the Maltese authorities was already bad enough, and you managed to make it even worse. I hope you guys get out of business and that all of your future clients give you a rating so bad that you go bankrupt. The lack of empathy you guys showed is more than enough for me to know that you deserve only the worst that life can throw at you. Even when customers are unable to get into the country and it is impossible for them to make use of their reservation, even after spending a pretty big penny trying to have a decent vacation, you guys show absolutely no empathy and will to facilitate our life, even when you had absolutely no costs in our reservation. You know that you spent absolutely nothing with us, no food, no drinks, no room service, nothing. You are everything that is wrong with this world. Even without a full reimbursement, you could’ve at least had the decency of trying to find a solution. Instead, you chose money grabbing and greed as your values. I will make sure that everyone I know will have 2nd thoughts by traveling to Malta, and if they even mention your Hotel Name, I will make sure that your values are shown and that everyone knows exactly the type of greedy, money grabbing and Fraudulent people you are. I am astonished by the lack of Humanity you guys have.

The staff on front desk rude and unhelpful they can shout at you and tell you off if you didn’t know the mean door to the pool I was want leave from the first day if I can and the foods it’s awful and prefer takeaway mire then their food not fresh and not cooked enough and one of the waiters tell us off because change the table, the only cleaners was lovely and helpful all the time.

Food was awful chicken was not cooked still bloody first rooms we were in were awful covered in bugs second rooms were clean and cleaner was lovely and helpful but staff on front desk rude and unhelpful.

Mine and Paul’s first time in Malta, we stayed at the Bella vista hotel, hotel itself is lovely, basic clean, 99% of the staff was lovely and friendly. Waiting staff was very friendly made sure our table was clear of plates when finished, always smiling and happy. Food was basic and you could never be hungry. Fresh fruit would be nice my personal only negative thing about the foods. Room would of been cleaned every day with fresh towels but our choice not to have it cleaned every day. Bed was comfortable, we had lovely pool views. Our balcony was private, access to iron and board for €1.50, we needed it :) all inclusive option gave us access to unlimited snacks until 15:00. As well as breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Entertainment wasn’t great, but doable if you like staying in the hotel but it was repeated every evening and lovely drunk people using karaoke there was groups of students and wedding venue people but they were bearable (some was noisy) not the hotels fault at all. Theres a little game room with pool table and amusements at the back, indoor and outdoor pool, various choice of drinks. Little shop with essentials not overly priced either. Although Malta didn’t have a huge amount to do the hotel was close and walkable to the sea and shops etc, we would personally recommend the hotel and 99% of the staff obviously you get the odd grumpy guy (snack bar) and would stay at the hotel again just Malta isn’t for us.

Rude staff. Always making you feel to rush what you want. Rooms dirty building site next door cut off the all inclusive dinner earlie to please a private function paying cash. Disgrace.

No way is this hotel a four start hotel A two star fits appropriately.

Most of the staff are friendly, hotel and rooms are cleaned every day, entertainment could be better. Food repetative and defernatly could be better as hotel supposingly a 4 star which in my opinion isn't, I have been coming here every year for a few years now, I like it but it could be alot better for the price you pay, either improve or knock the star rating down and the price.

Our stay was fantastic. Room cleaned every day. Hotel staff kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. I would certainly recommend this hotel to all. It was great and great value for an all inclusive holiday! I truly don’t understand the poor reviews.

Despite the reviews on here, wr found the staff, food and facilities to be good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food plentiful and of a good standard, I think some people just like to moan for the sake of it! We shall return We ARE returning in January 2019, and can not wait! Already booked.

Reception staff extremely rude and ignorant. Place full to the brim of noisy ignorant teens with no supervision whatsoever. Miles away from any decent shops, the beach or entertainment. Told there was entertainment in the hotel from September! Given paperclip when bathroom door locked by itself and my son got stuck inside! Lucy (housekeeper) and young man from the snack bar were the only decent staff and were lovely but apart from that avoid this place. Asking for a drink seemed like a chore for some staff not one smile! Very restrictive atmosphere, signs eveywhere, pool closed at 6pm! Access to outside on the seating next to pool also closed at 6pm. Nowhere to relax and have a drink as the lobby full of lots and lots of unsupervised students. Students spitting into the pool from the balcony and slamming doors all night, every night. There's more to write but my fingers are tired and I'm trying to forget this ordeal. Advice: Spend your pennies elsewhere.

I bought Wi-Fi for 16 euros (8 euros per device, only 2) and it didn't physically reach my room. I tried to figure it out, they sent a manager, there's nothing he can do about it.
As well as near the hotel you can easily buy drugs for the kind of marijuana. There are many teenagers of 12-14 years who drink alcohol, smoke tobacco and masturbate through the word.
Back in the room almost nothing properly does not work. Everything around is dusty, dirty. Very little space for rest, because they settle in a room with 4-5 beds, which are initially occupied by some foreigners.
In general, don't waste time and money on this hotel.

Bad hotel. It's like high stardom, and it doesn't match that. Towel one per person. There's nothing like soap or shampoo. The room runs ants in a hug with cockroaches. Dinner is modest as is breakfast. The location is terrible, there is nothing around, one meager shop and that's it.
Plus only two: good internet (paid) and good attitude of staff. For that, in fact, and two stars.

Really good food, nice staff and good service. But paying for having any internet was unexpected for me and not really a pleasant experience. Everything else was good. I really enjoyed my stay. The view from the rooftop is also great, and the hotel itself is just fifteen minutes walk from a nice beach. I recommend it if you're not depending on internet, because the rest is really good.

Very rude staff. NOt a 4 star. Food not tasting at all, eat out if you happen to stay here. They lie with their advert. On arrival they sent you to this dirty horrible apartment when we booked a hotel. We have to refuse to take the room in this apartment as we booked in hotel. Gave us the 2 single beds when we booked a double bed. Waited for management but nothing was done as they kept saying rooms are full. Well know bad hotel in the city, will not recommend anyone here. Google it from other visitors you will see yourself. Got to be told by a stranger in the city that we are staying in a bad place and it's well known in town.

This is going to be a long review, but I encourage you to read all of it if you're planning on staying at Bella Vista Hotel or Bella Vista Suites.   Bella Vista Hotel is by far the worst hotel I have visited in years of traveling for recreation, business, family events, weekend getaways, nights away & city breaks. It is rated as a 4 Star hotel which is insane as I've seen nothing to qualify it for that kind of status in 10 days here. From the first night we arrived we were given a room key and advised that our room isn't in the hotel, it's in a building down the street. No offer was made to either guide us there we were just told it's the next left down the street in the ‘suites’. The entrance to this showed it was the "Bella Vista Suites", not the "Bella Vista Hotel" and the entrance was a side door in an alley that smelled awful with rubbish everywhere.  The old run-down building had a noisy lift to lift to our 4th floor room which when we opened the door it turned out to be a basic, dirty self-catering apartment. Instead of a double room like we had booked there was 3x single beds with lumpy hard mattresses to match the lumpy pillows. The AC didn't work, and the bathroom smelled like sewerage. Also the bathroom door locked from the inside so we had to call reception to have them come fix it, on the second or third attempt they finally answered.

Loved it. A room with a kitchen. A gym, bus stops right outside the hotel, and able to book trips at a desk next to the reception. A buffet breakfast to set up the day.

Bad hotel, to flee because does not deserve its 4 stars. Swimming pool in works, bad food, clean room but air-conditioning down, staff lack of respect and courtesy, etc… Etc…

The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Cold Jacuzzi. Works around and DS the hotel and this from 7am. Location in the middle of buildings.
I do not recommend at all.

Depressing. Very disease and unpleasant service. Little variety of food at the buffet, you don't notice the amount of price you pay. It's tight, food, for seniors not for the whole audience. I also have to mention that we were served water taken from other tables. And then there's the problem of the tables. We were like 34 in my group and we were supposed to have the same reserved 4 tables The 5 days we stayed there. It did not happen like this: that if a colleague was alone in a table, or with strangers, or that you had to wait for us to end the people of our supposed table…
You couldn't breathe in the indoor pool, there was a time when you were drowning. It's basically for a 10-minute bath and goodbye, to the room.
Another problem they have is the air conditioner as it is general, if someone requires it, they will have it all over the hotel. In rooms that have interior window you can't stay, too hot. Even the fan worked well in the room that I was in. When I moved to another with balcony facing the outside it was better but I can not imagine the people who spend a whole week or more time in rooms like that with no possibility of change.
Many flaws in the rooms.
They have like a separate super Solitaire building where all there are rooms. You better put yourself to pray when you get there so they don't put you there, and more if you go with a big group.

Hotel average, the rooms are not soundproof, clean level is correct. Forgot the "Gym"…
Don't take it for the services in plain.
Location level, bus stops nearby and the hotel is not far from the square of Bugibba or are a lot of business.
At 1h30 from Valletta by bus, the capital.

Room without more, the TV starts every time we go home, the lights are not great. Ridiculous indoor pool, water too hot to be clean without 2 tons of chlorine. The meal buffets are quite correct. A nice night receptionist like a prison door. Problem with reception following a clogged toilet, they did not want to clean it would have had to do it ourselves.

The area is not the best but the Hotel is cheap, quiet and you eat well. Breakfast practically only English.

Untoyable, we stayed for a week on a school trip in this hotel says 4 stars, I do not know where these stars come from, the outdoor pool empty, the paid Wi-Fi which is disappointed and does not work once in two, the staff of the meal very unpleasant who withdraws you from the hands when you eat, the meal, talk in, it is rude! English food, salty to death… Bland desserts… I do not know where these stars come from! And the staff of rude impolite welcome denigrant as we are students and not families… Disappointed with this hotel! And insulting staff! Malta is a beautiful country but this hotel disappointed me! If you hesitate to book, change your choice, here even the neighborhood is not great! There are better places on the island!
Finally, if you want to spend a week where you do not sleep much, choose this hotel as it accepts many group of students on vacation which makes it pointers noisy.

We were 6 days at Easter 2018, we did the all inclusive and ate only 3 times, then we always went out, elevators and structure stank, juices and freeze dried coffee, at breakfast lunch and dinner always the same things, dirty pool, uncomfortable mattresses, air-free bathrooms, non-soundproofed rooms and rumorosissime. 4-star hotel? But not even 1. I recommend it. Don't be fooled by the photos. A very but very disappointed customer.

We stayed 4 nights in Bella Vista, our room was tidy, food was alright, music/entertainment every evening. This is popular place for people over 50 years old. There is no car park but it's not a problem to park on street opposite the hotel. We didn't pay much for a stay, we have read that some work is going on next to this hotel but didn't bother about it. We were up early anyway and out of the hotel for all day. Bella Vista is a 4* hotel but seems like 3* and you can't expect more than that so cheap. For me the worst was indoor swimming pool, not very clean place and dirty/yellow water in jacuzzi. There are two small shops near to this hotel and the park opposite. To all shops and restaurants is about 10 min by walk. Bus stop is very close to the hotel so it's easy to travel even without car.

This tired hotel needs a good revamp. No way is it a 4 star hotel and I doubt it ever has been. That said, it is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever seen, and a credit to the cleaning staff! Just a pity that the catering was not as good, in fact it was pretty awful. So little choice from day to day, every breakfast the same, the only difference being in how hot or cold the same meal was. True, there were building works next door to the main building, but one cannot blame the hotel for that. I do blame the hotel for poor organisation though, and would rectify that with new management. One can argue that it is what you can expect for the price, and that may well be true, but we think that income could be better spent on improving the hotel. Sorry, but we wont be back.

Worst Hotel we have ever stayed in and it is not 4 star. Poo on the couch in the spa area which was a hovel like the rest of the hotel which needs a total revamp. The staff are rude as is the Manager. Food poor. Signs up everywhere like a concentration camp we couldnt wait to get home, its disgusting.

This hotel has to review its star number compared to are current status. Well, we've been welcomed. We paid extra for a mediocre internet connection! In the room there is only one European outlet. The others are just like in England. The rooms are moderately Bienmais No 2-seater bed. They're only twin-bedded. The bathroom finishes are too crude (for 4 stars, it's not good! ) On the other hand the rooms are not well insulated. In the pool at — 1, the walls are to be refreshed, on the top of the walls there is very visible humidity. And the toilet between the pool and the gym is disgusting. There's been some dried poo in the tub for three days. The meals are very plentiful. It's good but there is not much choice for a 4 star hotel. The staff is nice. He speaks English. I'm disappointed with the state of the scene. It is not worthy of a 4 star and lack of variety of meals.

For a short trip the Hotel is enough. Unfortunately, not "is Included in the all inclusive, everything". Wi-Fi must be paid for. Food is included, but not the largest selection. Nevertheless, in the case of questions and suggestions the staff is always responsive and helpful. Perfect hotel for a short trip. Sadly, not everything is included in the all inclusive. You had to pay for Wi-Fi. The food is okay but not the biggest selection. If you have any questions the management is always helping you further.

Hotel good for small stay but no long holiday.

Good value for money hotel. Well located with bus stop just outside to take you all over the islands of Malta and Gozo. Good food and drink selection.

I would rate it 3 star, staff very helpfully polite, food good and plenty of it, only issue all inclusive with free drinks as some people can't handle and if you want a seat on a bus you have to go to the terminal and there's no queuing just a shoving match, Slima next time for us as nearly everywhere you want to go is through Valletta but beautiful place, oh and watch out for the professional pick pockets they had me.

Staff rude food bad disrespectful of Italian culture. Clientele over 65 + who drinks from 9di morning until the evening very irascibili, looks like a hospice for Old Madmen. Sale of alcohol inappropriately. Cleaning rooms approximate very often not carried out. Rooms are not very safe, you can not close inside, furnished in an old fashioned way.

If you want to stay a few days in Malta, get away from the hotel Bella Vista. Poor food, grumpy staff, indecent and dirty rooms. Drunk people every night looking for any kind of discussion and quarrel. I'm just telling you we've been forced to call the police.

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel with another 45 guys for a work internship.
The rooms are acceptable, clean but very uncomfortable.
The staff is rude, the food is really nasty and above all it is full of elderly gentlemen who drink in the morning until the night, not recommended especially for families.

Poor food (I found a pebble in a piece of cake) not very courteous staff, mediocre housekeeping and small rooms. If you add a bunch of drunken old ladies who start drinking at 11 a. M. You get the perfect mix for a very unpleasant stay.

The food was disgraceful no selection could of been better especially the breakfast had no choice every single day hot dogs egg and toast or cereal but my partner is lactose intolerant and also a veggie. The food was the same every single day and not much variety it was just meat and potato on the menu, we ate out more than in the hotel. We was interested in the sauna first it was €3.50 for 1 hour then in the Bella vista book it was suddenly €11 so the confusion put us off. The staff didn't have a clue what we were entitled to on the all inclusive wrist band, we arrived on the Monday and only by Friday found out what snacks we was entitled to. The rooms were fine all in all the maids excellent and polite, hotel was clean except the swimming pool was all grimy round edges with "clean me" wrote around the pool. It is only Feb but the hotel was quite busy and it was frustrating with only two small lifts we have stayed at hotels smaller than this with more lifts and better food variety.

Absolutely disgusting food on all inclusive never changed in fact probably the food from previous days as it was cold every day. The hottest meal was the toast I sorted out for myself. All staff very rude except the chambermaids and Alex on the bar. The best part of the holiday was asking them to cut off the band and leaving. Advised will put reviews on every site possible as it was such a disgrace. Very happy to leave.

Customer service was excellent. The buffet was pretty good. It didn't even become tedious after a 9 day stay. The rooms weren't as good, not very eco either. They were changing towels every day even if they weren't dirty. Relocating items in the room as well, sure made me panic several times. Popped us on the first floor where the magnificent view of a wall could have been enjoyed. The reason I would give 4 stars is mainly because the conference rooms and the whole atmosphere of the place are truly amazing! We were on a training course and the hotel didn't restrict or limit us one bit while the conferences were kept in perfect conditions.

This has been one of the best holidays I've ever been to the hotel is very reasonable price and they try to get a good selection of food to catour for everyone the staff are very happy to help and they do the best in cleaning. A Great place to stay.

I think this is the worst hotel I have ever attended.
Arrival at the hotel the room does not correspond at all to what was posted and what I paid. First disappointment when doing the tour of the room it turns out that the latter was very dirty. So much so that we found toilet paper behind the toilet bowl to clog a hole.
But also a kettle with rump water and unidentified floating objects!
So we go back to the reception to explain the situation.
It is explained to me that a maid will prepare the new room. After 30 minutes of waiting we return to the new room. Which turns out to be dirty (again).
Again back to the reception, or I begin to raise the tone having impression not to be understood. The manager therefore takes his hand on our "file" before telling me openly "if you have booked a room and that this one does not correspond to what you saw on the Internet it is your problem not mine".
A reaction that I deem dismal back therefore of the maid for 45 minutes to clean our room.
Despite this the room was still dirty so I ended up bringing the dust found in our room to the reception as a gift!
Add a staff that is not smiling or polite, inedible limit meal buffets, and an island tour by boat that does not match what you pay for and you have a wonderful stay!
In short, flee! Please!

Just finished are holiday. Stayed at the Bella vista me and the missus. The hotel its self is not to bad the rooms are always cleaned. The food is mostly the same with little change suggest going to the salad bar first and mix it up. Same with breakfast I made toast first and put egg on top. The jacuzzi and indoor pool are good to relax best time is just before supper has started as know one goes that time so you will have both to yourself. If your a younger person then don't stay at the hotel I rented a scooter £68 all in for the week and went everywhere on it. It's so easy to ride in Malta make sure the rear suspension is set high and the tyres are pumped up as the roads sometimes are not great. And it's cheaper then the open top bus they try to sell you. You need transport in Malta to see everything there's alot. But back to the hotel there manly older guests. You use a card to get food drinks. The cocktail are not part off the all inclusive but it's £5.20 for two drinks and if you see a bar man called Alex he will make you any cocktail you want and there delightful and he's very friendly. The restaurant try to stay at the front part as there's some fly issues at the back. Don't be put off but some off the bad reviews I'm not saying it's the best hotel in the world. But you make the holiday if your after somewhere to sleep and have breakfast and evening meals then it's good enough. If your just going to sit around the hotel all day then you holiday is going to suck simple.

Myself and partner stayed he for a week from Oct 25th. I have read reviews stating unfriendly staff food awful plates cold etc. So wanted correct these. Staff were always friendly especially in the dining room where they always spoke 2 everyone. When they saw u had finished with plate it was cleared away. Food was lovely. It was always hot n plentiful n full of flavour and as for plates being cold they were hot enough that u needed a serviett to hold it. We are not pool people so could not comment except 2 say it was cleaned daily as this we saw. Room was lovely only fault was shower where we could not get a fixed temperature but taken in 2 account all the hotel were using water this is understandable. Everywhere was clean. Thank you to all the staff at Bella vista's for a lovely holiday.

Poor hotel that deserves only 2 stars and especially not 4!
The pictures of the pool and the buffet should not mislead you: Nothing is attractive in this hotel which is nothing luxurious.
The staff is not welcoming at all and you have to pull them out of the nose to get information, they must have forgotten that they work in tourism!
The quality of the dishes is poor whether it's breakfast or dinner. Almost always the same thing, and absolutely nothing Maltese in history: a very big disappointment, we went to eat outside several times during our stay, even if we lose our half board. We're not on vacation to eat in the canteen!
The excursions sold by the hotel can be cancelled by the hotel at the last minute, without warning, even if we shoot our holiday day! And don't wait for excuses, you won't have any!
The room is noisy as possible, no soundproofing, you would have thought that the windows were open: The street is actually a kind of peripheral boulevard that makes the tour of Qawra. I had several insomnias during the week: Raging!
The bedding is all very stinky, we feel the springs in the back and there is no mattress pads or pads, level hygiene ZERO.
Besides, to make a double bed, they use 1-seater sheets at the perpendicular: completely retarded and uncomfortable.
Swimming pool and Jacuzzi not heated: No one bathes because it is frozen.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! rooms are dirty and hotel is run down and grubby, the food is disgusting, we had to eat out which made it a very expensive holiday, I complained to the management staff who did not give a toss! I could go into detail on how bad this hotel is such as awful dirty pool unhelpful staff and poor location but won't. PLEASE don't book this hotel, book a proper 4 star hotel such as the San Antonio, Bella Vista is DEFINITELY not a 4 star 2 star at best. This hotel totally ruined a well earned holiday, people who say it's a nice hotel must not have stayed in a 4 star hotel before or have very low standards! Travel companies should not be sending people to this hotel it needs closing down for sure! And management do not make any comments as I am not interested in a half hearted apology!

The HOTEL I wish to clarify that I am not used to being so critical, but that I also do not have the habit of being so disappointed.
The reception and staff: — our reservation had not been taken into account, so we were sent to appart'hotels outside the hotel. To get there, you have to drag your suitcases on high and very small sidewalks.
So we claimed that it did not fit our reservation and they promised us another room in the main building the next day as soon as we finished our breakfast.
— The next day, no room available for us… DOMMAAAAGE… But, Ah eventually, but at 4:00. What to do so far? No time to go to the beach, our luggage was in our hands (we were down with, full of hope). We claim again and we could have a midi room — housekeeping, a housekeeper to whom I brought our cups that had not been cleaned during their passage told me "bah, you can wash them alone in your sink"… My answer: "Are you serious? ". I am polite and courteous, but I admit that I was confused.
The Appart'hotel: — dirty, broken curtains, the bathroom window that overlooks a smelly flue, cold or burning water but never lukewarm, the fridge full of rust stains, no plates, no cutlery — the jacuzzi that was to be on The roof was not there… — Attention, non-potable water! The room: — very poorly cleaned during our stay: No vacuum cleaner, no mop, no dust, no changed sheets. But at our request: change of our towels. The beds were made.

Worst hotel we have ever been to. We are out in the wilderness and to go anywhere to find a bar or restaurant you have to take a shortcut which is ver dark and come out the other end it is like a. Ghetto and quite frightening. Eventually you come to a square with bars and restaurants but still have to tske the shortcut back again.

Excellent place for the money… good food… good drink and clean rooms. Friendly staff made our holiday very relaxing and enjoyable.

All rooms are extremely hot and the only thing that has is an old fan on the ceiling that makes a creepy noise.
You have to pay for the Wi-Fi that rarely works and even for the towels.
When we complained about the room and their services we also demanded our money back. But the manager told us instead of refunding us to move us to the suites. Unfortunately the suits were worse than the previous room and way smaller having the same creepy fan and a non working a/c.

A decent hotel for youth organizations, but poorly placed in town (lots of fields arid and very dry so not very beautiful), I advise against couples and adults in general because it shelters enormously young.

Really nice place. We were hosted in a suite and it really offered a lot of space. Everything was really clean and neat. But the food variety was rather disappointing and the personnel in the restaurant was suffocating at times. Also, a lot of groups of students were hosted and apparently the walls and doors are not soundproof. The noise and slamming doors at 3 a. M. Was not pleasant to say the least. But apart from that, I really recommend.

Lovely clean hotel, fabulous helpful staff. Relaxing friendly atmosphere. Good location just a bit out of town. I would highly recommend a stay and would love to come back. Only slight negative is the rooms need a fridge x.

My wife and I returned to Malta for the 25th year of marriage since we were there on our honeymoon and we promised to return for the Silver Jubilee, the stunning island with an incredible charm, pity that the characteristic style buses that were to be replaced with modern buses overcrowded. We stayed for 7 days in the Hotel "Bella Vista" at the Qawra and we must say that we were very good, very cozy room with all mod cons, (only the Wi-Fi worked shortly) cleaning wasn't manic but in context quite acceptable, (we chose the formula breakfast/dinner) hearty breakfast, dinner with many variations of choice was good and ipperabbondante, almost defiantly, and if we were to judge sincerely you would deserve a … "Very good" … we shall meet again, congratulations and thanks.

Not at all as advertised, no rooftop bar, sauna closed. Outdoor pool closed. A bit shabby. Some staff less than friendly, but others really trying their best. It was cheap tho so I guess you get what you pay for. Alright holiday experience if your easily pleased…

Just back from spending three nights with my son in the bella vista hotel let me say that all the the bad reports about the hotel are rubbish we found that the staff were very good and the food was brill, and the snacks. The rooms were very clean and the maids very helpful are room was over the swimming pool, the indoor pool was kept pretty good and the water was warm. If I ever go back to malta I would go back to this hotel again thanks again for a very pleasant stay.

Both my partner and I stayed in Bella Vista for a few days checking out hotels for our guests as we are getting married in malta july 2016. This defo one hotel I would not stay in again, the list of defaults are way too long to start. Now I know you pay for what you get but that hotel was more a hostel! When we did inform management of our unhappy stay nothing was attended too. Strong advice do not stay here in Bella Vista Hotel.

Went here on our honeymoon. I wouldn't generally bother with complaining, but do want to warn others. Avoid. We got there, our taxi driver said it was a bit of a dive on the way in. It is next to a main road, we could hear lorries roaring every night, and the room smelled of other people's cigarette smoke. We got in and found the concession to the fact this was our honeymoon was a bottle of warm wine and a packet of crisps. We had two single beds shoved together, and one duvet that did not cover quite cover both of us, and air con that was only slightly effective. The pool could only be used in the morning as otherwise it was overcast. The only thing I can think of to say that was good were the cleaners, they do a fantastic job and were friendly and courteous. All other members of staff looked as if they wanted to be anywhere else. I can't say I blame them especially but it didn't help matters. The food was not even mediocre, this food didn't even have ambition to be mediocre — it was dreadful — lots of people wouldn't eat there, which given that we had paid for half board was not ideal. The coffee was so startlingly bad I had to go the next door cafe where the (nice) staff got me cappuccinos. And I have lived places where all you can get is unholy nescafe nasties and I drank those uncomplainingly — honestly it was astonishing — like dishwater. Look, I'm not just being negative for the sake of it, I just don't want others paying a lot of money for a poor experience.

Good hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Everywhere very clean rooms helpful unsurpassed. It is a short walk into town but a good shuttle service, if you need it. Ignore reviews about it being an oldies hotel that offers it all. Good food, good selection.
