The good: they have Wi-Fi in the hotelrooms now. Ask the reception, because it isn't clearly stated in the beginning. The rooms were cleaned and bed made everyday. Breakfast was alright, but could use with some sliced cucumber for Scandinavians and some actual fruit The bad: the shower had those black marks in corners and in between tiles. Lots of guests who were a bit loud. The performance on the rooftop is a bit late for people who want to get into bet early, the music is loud so no sleeping then. We asked about some basic info for a ferry, and got a response that didn't explain anything. However we managed in the end. Lovely stay overall and we would come back.

The hotel is nice. Very good location. Cleaned every day. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious. Booked a regular room but we were given a room with a balcony and a sea view. Located right on the Slima waterfront. There is a huge number of cafes for all tastes. Satisfied with the rest 100%.

This was our third stay at the Plaza Hotel. We paid for a superior sea view room with half board. Our room didn't disappoint, it had a large balcony compared to other rooms and the air conditioning never missed a beat. As it was a superior room it had a small fridge which proved invaluable and we had tea/coffee making facilities. It had free Wi-Fi on previous stays we had to pay. They do have computers in the hotel lobby but there is a charge of €1.50 per half hour to use them. On the downside and the reason I've only given it 4 stars is the food. The breakfast buffet was good but the evening meals were very poor. The food was either overcooked or some of the vegetables almost raw, with the same potatoes for 2 weeks. I think they were meant to be roast potatoes but they were sitting in a pan of water and more boiled than roasted. It would have been nice to have had chips occasionally. On previous stays we had no complaints with the food, it was always very good. We would stay again but would only have bed and breakfast next time.

Great hotel for 3 stars! A good descent into the water right next to the hotel, the stops are also near: in the capital in 15 minutes. There are a lot of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Of the drawbacks: the monotony of breakfasts and we got a view from the window to the patio)

I expected much better from a Siema front Hotel. The shower was not cleaned on one occasion and when I complained at the reseption the replied that it would be done the next day. The breakfast was fine and starting at 7.30am which is nice. Depending on who you find in the reception you might be warm welcomed or not even acknowledge. Parking in the area is nearly impossible. Might take an hour to find. Bus stop close. Various shops, restaurants and bars in the area.

It is unfortunate that when you arrive from the airport at 21:00 the receptionist tells you that the kitchen is closed, and does not offer any kind of alternative, especially when you have paid half board. In that aspect they deserve 0 stars. The location was good, the room was clean and the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice, the room was nice and the breakfast was great.

Elevator often full. Do not take room under the restaurant otherwise you are awakened toys in the mornings at 6am!

Hotel rooms are lovely. Spacious and clean. Central location and easy access to other areas. We were on the 1st floor with lovely view. Very noisy as your on the main road. April 9th and the outside pool still not open or roof top bar. Not ideal if you have children. There is a indoor pool for children but that's it. Nothing else for children in the hotel. We stayed half board. Basic food with little choice. So we usually had to take the children out to eat or order fries in the restaurant. The beach is rocky unless you go the the other side of town and you have a small grit like beach. Very clean.

Good location and staff attentive to its customers. Too bad the rooftop pool is not in water, but we were able to enjoy the very nice indoor pool (attention, open from 9am to 6pm only)

Hotel with rooms recently refurbished OK, but hall and dining room placed on the sixth floor and retro façade of the years ' 80. View of breathtaking bay on the back from nightmare.

In this hotel we stayed for the third time, always take a studio with a view of the sea, the view is stunning! The room is very spacious with mini kitchen, bathroom is also spacious, there is both shower and bathroom. The location of the hotel we like, near the bus stop, can be very easy to get to different ends of the island. Very nice long promenade, very convenient for morning runs. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is a children's playground opposite. Yes, the rooms of this class are on 6-7 floors, so a great view is guaranteed.

The hotel has well-appointed, cozy rooms and the cleaning service is acceptable. The free Wi-Fi service works at times and in the rooms does not work very well. It has two swimming pools: one indoor one outside. I did not personally try the pool because it was not so clean: After two days I was in the hotel, passing by the hallway which has the view in the indoor pool, the water was very murky and was not very inviting… As far as the restaurant I tried both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is on buffet and there are different choices, but the juices that the machine is made up of 95% water and a small amount of juice, the coffee provided by Speck is an offence to the real coffee and the only thing I really appreciated is the MACC Automatic Hinetta that toasts the bread. As for the dinner is always buffet: I did 4 dinner and to be honest the first day I did not find anything that was inviting and I was fasting; In the subsequent dinners the quality is improved. I recommend you buy water from a supermarket because the one they give to the restaurant has a bad aftertaste and I do not recommend the ice cream, which in the evening in the evening peddle it for different tastes, but in the end is always the same ice cream (which ice cream has nothing) and the only thing C He changes is the dye.
Very nice, however, is the staff at the front desk who is willing to give advice and to meet any need.

Very nice hotel in a fantastic position on the sea front. Comfy and clean rooms, cleaned every day. Breakfast very good with plenty of choice, but let down by the evening meals which although there was 4 choices every time, we didn't enjoy the meals at all in the evenings! Hotel has a lovely coffee shop at the front where the prices were very reasonable Also the pizza place next door was fab.

Central location, near Ferries. Very good al fresco restaurant and a spectacular pool deck with amazing views of Sliema and surrounds. Worth a visit. Perfect setting to have an ice cold Cisk in the heat of mid-day.

A very central hotel. Clean rooms and helpful reception. This is my 2nd time here so can't be bad. The breakfasts are great!

Nice room no balcony and no kettle and fridge put the food is good staff are very good.

The hotel is well located in Sliema, by the sea with nearby transport.
The rooms are OK, although mine would need a little bit of new (this is what happens on 1st and 2nd floor).
And the indoor pool is nice.

Large hotel in Sliema. Nice roof top terrace and pool. Not the most upmarket but good value for money if you want a private room.

I liked it. All that's missing is a refrigerator.

This 3-star hotel has an excellent location across the Bay of Slema in Malta. Its rooms overlook the sea and are very cozy. There is good breakfast service and transportation for the other towns and Valletta is only 2 minutes away from the hotel.
In the evenings they offer local music. What I like most is its beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and the tranquility in the evenings. It is close to everything and the price in the season that I went I found very reasonable. There are restaurants and a boardwalk to walk by the beach. I will definitely be back.

A wonderful central location right by the sea. From here you can easily reach all places by bus or on foot. The restaurant is located on the 6th floor and has a breathtaking view of Sliema and the sea.

The plaza is great value for money, and generally a pleasant stay. Issues we had include a leaking toilet, sometimes noisy at night and in the early morning. The staff are very friendly apart from one male manager who was very rude to his staff and ourselves which essentially ruined our stay at the plaza.

Comfortable Hotel with good location to get to Valletta especially. The room we got was very comfortable with kitchenette, fridge and sink included, apart from a table with two chairs for dinner if you ordered takeout or writing etc. Very comfortable double bed with several pillows. Terrace to smoke wide enough. Safe, wardrobe, bathroom with hairdryer, although this was pretty bad. Daily cleaning service, they make you the bed and they will reput you towels and gel every day. I do not give 5 stars because the breakfast buffet service is a bit bad, machine juices, machine coffee, bacon that looks like carton, scrambled eggs is Huevina cooked insipida, no soy milk or almonds for lactose intolerant, do not put fresh fruit, only pot Macedonia and some day oranges, yogurt is good, cereals too and another negative point of the hotel is that in the rooms do not have free Wi-Fi, you have to get off to the reception area. Generally recommended if you go to Malta and you stay in Sliema. By the way they have indoor pool but the schedule is until 18, as we always caught tourism we never could use.

Visited November. We had a room with a side view of the sea, small but adequate. Toilet space was a bit snug so may not be suited to a bigger person or anyone with a disability. Room was clean and tidy. Small television, not that we used it. I was disappointed to find we had to pay for use of the room safe. Free Wifi at the hotel only available in reception, you have to pay for it everywhere else. Worth topping up your own data instead. Breakfast was good with the usual available, nice view from the dining room. We didn't use the roof pool. Beautiful view from the roof. The indoor pool was cold and sadly the jacuzzi was also cold, so not that relaxing after a long day walking! Two nice cafes located at front of each hotel block fairly priced. Bus stop right outside with regular services to most places and good value. The hotel reception staff were not overly friendly but the dining room staff and cleaners were all friendly and helpful.

Value for money. Buses on the doorstep almost. This is our with visit. Speaks for itself! M&F.

We felt like we were at home. The room was great Helpful and friendly reception staff. As soon as they hear Ke six Italian are lavish x speak to you in your language. Nice places to visit. We recommend it. Elisabetta and Roberto.

This place is a lot of value for money. The room I got was much nicer than the pictures. The breakfast buffet was as expected, but when it's with a view from the 6'th floor overlooking the bay, you are going to have a nice morning. The rooftop pool was a nice alternative to the rocky shores when going for a dip. All in all a nice stay, and if I'm going back to Malta, I'm definitely staying here again.

Decent enough hotel. The management seem to be a bit behind though in communication to its customers. I was not told that you had to 'hire' the safe after going down to complain that it didn't work. Oh thanks for telling me because I arrived with a crystal ball to use the iron you have to leave a deposit.? the air con failed on my last night & the night shift manager looked at me as if to say what do you expect me to do about it? I paid extra for it, tough you'll have to melt tonight. On arrival the desk staff were more interested in flogging me a tour of the aquarium than highlighting these elementary features. Communication is simple, if you can't get that right then. Tight when it comes to towels too. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

A very big hotel but also so cute… Staff qualified clean rooms and has a beautiful pool on the terrace with stunning views.

Not the best regarding the rooms and the cleanliness of the toilets. However the place is really in the centre of Sliema, close to restaurants, bars, shops, bus stops and in front of the sea.

See good price-Leiatungsverhältnis indoor pool was a bit cold again public transport just outside the door. Grocery stores right in the neighborhood.

Stayed at this hotel for my first and LAST holiday in Malta. All staff members except one or two were rude and miserable. The hotel in general was clean and modern and our hotel room was maintained to a good standard during the day otherwise I would have rated 1 star. The staff were my biggest problem as they was far from friendly and polite and very miserable they could barely crack a smile! The food was AWFUL during the whole holiday, very strange combinations of meals and not much choice. I will not be returning to Malta again let alone the hotel!

Location on map wrong! Anyway good room structure, very new, but no outside window! You can't tell what time is it, it's always dark. That should be mentioned before booking, very claustrophobic.

I have been to Malta several times, but this has to be the most awful experience in my entire life! The breakfast gave me food poisoning. This then made me have to eat out every day just so I didn't get a dodgy stomach and then refused to refund the breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was a complete joke the cups had residue inside them and the cutlery was dirty as well as the plates. This hotel is struggling as 99.9% of the hotel is exchange students which didn't have any consideration for anyone apart from themselves as they knock on peoples doors in the early hours of the morning and playing music and getting drunk until the early hours in the corridors. On top of this the pool was constanly crammed with students diving in shouting and splashing and pushing everyone out of the way just to get into it. The rooms were also nothing like the pictures and we also found 5 cockroaches in our apartment yet we were on the 7th floor it was also infested with ants and the hotel room some times smelled of stangnant urine. The pool bar was a complete joke the bar man had no manners never smiled and constantly moaned and was just a **** if you ask me. The reception was another joke! Such as yours faithfully Sandra! This woman has never heard of customer service skills or manners in fact she was probably one of the most rudest people I have ever encountered. For example asking her where the luggage room was, well this was too hard for SANDRA and she didn't acknowledge anything you said!

Room not ready on arrival had to move buildings twice my sister and I were sharing a twin room which we were happy with once we got what we paid for my husband was in other building in a room that was like a prison cell he knew when we booked it had no balcony but it had no window it was like a black hole food was very poor totally disgusted with it wouldn't go back only good point was the view.

Beautiful views of the Ballutta Bay from the front rooms as well as from the rooftop terrace… The breakfast buffet was very good. Receptionists are helpful, but unfortunately they don't know much about what you just ask as a tourist.
The room was very clean and comfortable. New bathrooms.
All in all a very nice hotel! Recommended!

Hello, the hotel is in quite State of abandonment, as the room in which we stayed was quite dirty walls, dirty switches, lamp headboard enough dust for months without cleaning, bathroom better not tell you. It has a window as if open it you see air conditioning pipes pipes and water (impression as if you poke a sewer), the bathroom door does not open that this bed attached to the door, the television is covered by a thick layer of dust and old and soft pillows, the photos that are shown on the internet have nothing to do with the rooms the breakfast always the same, do not recommend. Unkind staff. I do not recommend it.
