We visited the hotel on the occasion of my birthday, to have drinks and relax while out walking the countryside. Immediately upon entering we were struck by the atmosphere of cool elegance. After being directed to the bar we were delighted to discover the outside terrace with its amazing views, and we spent a very pleasant interlude drinking cask-aged negronis, served by friendly and accomodating staff. Will certainly return.

Couldn't work out how to keep the balcony light on. The night porter was great and helped us find an alternative. all staff are very professional and polite. little extras like the bottle of water at turndown service was a lovely bonus. would highly recommend.

As usual, our stay was a fantastic one. The breakfast is exceptionally good and the dinner in the Trattoria scrumptous. The staff all around the hotel are very helpful. The rooms are very quiet and spacious. The bathroom is perfect. The heated indoor pool is very relaxing. We will certainly visit again.

Beautiful resort style hotel with a great spa (we got awesome Ayurvedic massages). The service is a little shakey. They were clearly trying hard but it felt like a place where college students go to try and learn about the hospitality industry. This is a solid 4 star hotel, but definitely don’t expect the polished attention to detail of a 5 star.

Clean, comfortable room. Beautiful and peaceful environment. Friendly staff. Great food, breakfast is a feast of tasty food. Pools large, clean, surrounded by gorgeous palms and other plants. 3 pools in all two for families with children and one just for adults who want a more quite time. Also indoor pool in the spa is nice. This hotel has character and class. I highly recommend staying at Kempinski. I am definitely looking forward to another holiday there.

This is a great hotel this year was my 4th visit in 6 years as first visited this hotel in 2013 then came back in 2014 then last year now this year. Not long come back from a 15 night stay. Carmen remembered me from last year the housekeeper maid she is so friendly and helpful. She sometimes serviced the room I stayed in This year couple of times and it was cleaned to professional standard. Also Romina the receptionist was very helpful booking dinner reservation one day when reception was full of people checking in and she took the time in a busy period to do our dinner reservation which was very helpful. I was upgraded to a residence 1 bedroom which was a triple upgrade which over looked over the residence pool. Can’t wait to come back look forward to my next stay.

The room was quite large, included bath, shower and also a well sized terrace. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It has 3 outside pools and 1 inside pool, which were quite large and not too much crowded considering we were there in peak season. The breakfast was fantastic. A perfect weekend break, thanks to the hotel and all it's staff.

Came here just for the day to use the facilities. Just what I wanted. Lovely pool, not too busy. Used the gym also. Bit dated, not loads of equipment but if you're inventive then you can do a good workout in there. Had some food from the pool bar which was really nice.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms and bathrooms. Adult pool area clean and spacious. Polite and helpful staff. Only criticism breakfast was a shambles. Had to wait for items to be replenished, especially fruit and hot food, tables not set with cutlery, napkins. They need someone there checking and and refilling all the time and more service staff around the tables. We did order off the a la carte menu and got them in a reasonable time. Wouldn't stop me returning.

Great resort and service overall and some parts of it were truly a 5 star experience. Unfortunately, we were let down by few parts of the hotel, like the pool bar and the spa, that are disorganized and make mistakes that should not happen in a 5 star hotel.

Loved the room — jr suite Water spa area — was a bit boisterous but fair for a family environment Treatments — some. Treatments felt rushed like they didn't want you there But the spa staff at reception made the extra effort to make us feel pampered. Food — quality of breakfast — is tasty but the fry up section should really be more presentable and I mean the staff not the food and possibly more on the station and less hiding in the kitchen. Quality of cafe/bar/lobby — food and drink — friendly / helpful / efficient and most of all attentive to not only your requested meals and choices but trys to offer best experience. (dietary requirements)

Not quite enough to the 5 stars, but overall still highly recommended.

Excellent Hotel with great conference facilities and a stunning wellness department (spa, sauna, pool, hammer, massages, etc. ). The rooms are very nice, very tastefully furbished and the food is excellent. We are here every year for a conference in March/April. Its still quite cold then, but the island has so much to offer. Must be an excellent place in summer, however a little off the beaten track. No beach close by and you have to be transferred from Malta by Taxi and Ferry (and another Taxi) to get here. But if you are looking for a quite place and relaxation, this is the place to be!

The structure is amazing and the personal is very professional. Food is very good too! I love the restaurant "La Trattoria". I absolutely recommend it! You can enjoy and relax yourself in a magic place :)

A 5-star hotel with services of 4

The best hotel to stay in Gozo. However breakfast is terrible. They have very good restaurants though so don't really understand why breakfast sucks. Rooms are very comfortable. Overall nice stay but nothing to be hyped about.

I love my stay… The hotel is really nice, cosy and homey. Love the view from the rooftop, the outdoor pools, the tasty food, everything.

The Kempinski is a great place to stay, even in Winter. While the rooms are a bit cold when you arrive, the A/C heating makes up for it quickly). The Restaurants and Bars are very good, especially the nice selection of good Gins and premium tonic waters are a gin lovers dream come true. Would definitely recommend.

We were a total of 4 weeks after the site.
+ The SPA is super especially the Turkish bath and the massages + defying the long stay, the food was varied.
We had booked half board. Seldom eaten so well not in Switzerland either.
+ services were like in this price range as expected around top.
— Unfortunately, quite secluded sea view would have been good.

The hotel claims on its website that you feel as a guest as a VIP…
This has nothing to do with reality.
The whole atmosphere is not luxurious and has been growing steadily in the years.
Too many international employees (interns) and only a third Maltese.
At breakfast you get the table allocated to give a bit of high quality although half of the tables were always empty. Always the same and tailored to the English guests.
Dinner was possible in two restaurants of choice.
However, in both the food was rather all too artificial and pseudo-luxury.
Just tasted a few times. Although I had half board, I could not even get a second ball of ice as a dessert.
You sometimes sit there for up to 2 hours until you get the often puny meals served.
The garden area looks more like weeds and smells uncomfortable.
The façade crumbled and even in the reception hall and was little entstaupt.
The spa was very disappointing. The heated pool was just lukewarm but not warm enough to relax. Only the steam room was good, the rest was all 3-star level.
On the website there is also the Nichtrauchernereich in the outdoor areas of the restaurants, but a guest asked there for an ashtray and got it immediately and smoked off…
Most of the guests could not be behaved and were therefore well suited to the hotel.
The price-performance ratio is very poor.

Extremely beautiful and peaceful luxurious hotel with all the amenities one can imagine. Very spacious and minimalistic. Rooms have the luxurious feel and are very spacious. The only negative is the shower system, needs to be upgraded.

Very very good. You'll enjoy the stay for sure. Room is great and food is amazing. If it had a heated outdoor pool and a larger or second jacquzi it would be 5*.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kempinski this week. Beautiful hotel, extremely good customer service and mind blowingly good food. Had lunch at Gazebo, and the staff was able to accommodate our needs and create dishes off menu. During the evening, we had dinner at Trattoria, which did not disappoint. When we noticed that the Wi-Fi was not working in our room and called the reception, someone fixed it in less than 5 minutes. If we ever visit Gozo again, we will be staying at Kempinski!

The stay at the hotel was great. Service was excellent, breakfast was superb. Good at the BBQ night was good quality, however found it slightly overpriced. None the less I would recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with Ayurveda of the EXRTA class the spacious Hotelana location is idyllically located at the western end of Gozo, ideal for excursions to the Azur window and the capital Victoria.
The reception is not optimally organized, no Kofferboy, very difficult to open entrance door (especially with luggage). Already the way through the long corridors dreamlike, absolute silence. The suite was impressive, large, clean, quiet — perfect for relaxing. View to the pool recommended. In addition, I recommend a car (with Navi) to reach the numerous sights (beware, left traffic).
WLAN was very annoying, with every login password and user enter. In addition, we were only advised at the end of our stay on the daily rates, which cost almost as much as an hour of surfing (2, 50 EUR/hour, 3, 50 EUR/day).
The service for the hotel of this category was rather average. When coming and going at the reception we have almost never been noticed, silently greeted.
The restaurant, which had an extensive breakfast, was simply stunning. Large window fronts, both domestic and internal. Food. Only the oily fragrance of freshly prepared eggs in the pan was sometimes annoying.
Not to be missed is the Ayurveda centre, which is part of the hotel complex. Dr. Reshmi is an excellent Ayurvedic Doctor Who offers a free consultation with a lot of empathy and expert knowledge.

We visit every year and are never disappointed. The staff make this hotel so special! They offer the best massage in Malta. They have the best indoor pool and are so family friendly it's ridiculous. The only down side was the poor tea and coffee on offer with breakfast.

Lovely hotel with historic features. Indoor pool with steam rooms and jacuzzi. Spa treatments on offer (book well in advance). Big outdoor pool and smaller children's outdoor pools. Good selection of food at breakfast for buffet.
