This is our first time in Maldives and we chose Dhigufaru as our honeymoon resort and it turned up as a great decision 😊 we booked the water pool villa and it was gorgeous the room was huge and clean and bathroom was very spacious, room cleaning was done twice a day, the restaurant food was great since we took the full board package we manage to try different menus everyday, the staff was very friendly, the pool bar has different activities everyday to keep the guests entertained, we will definitely come back and highly recommended, thanks for making our honeymoon memorable.

We were supposed to be there for 6 nights but ended up extending another 2 nights. The island is just beautiful and not over crowded, you always feel like you’re the only one there which is amazing. We opted for the all-inclusive package and the daily buffets were amazing, themed buffets with variety of different delicious food. They have plenty of drinks options and evening entertainment. We had the beach villa veli which was just stunning and our back yard leads to the beach which was just jaw dropping. Other than all that the staff was just wonderful I would like to thank Saanih, Sarisma, Indu, Ana and Shahin from the bar and Hudah from the hotel management team along with Ally the GM. Also lastly want to thank Shady from photography who does amazing work. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing place and thank you to all who work there and made us all feel welcome, especially to our 3 year old daughter. The beach hotel we stayed at was amazing and was kept very clean by the hardworking staff. Loads of things to do and for all ages. Food was amazing — all authentic and varied with many to choose from — even offered to make alternative meals for our daughter I would totally recommend this resort and I look forward to a return there! Poor service and the resort is not luxurious food quality is not good enough plus we arrived one night late due to weather conditions and no compensation has been presented from their side to make it up for us.

Quite and good for relaxing or escape from busy places, nothing fancy or super luxury like others hotel in Maldives but everything was just right and perfect. Lots of water creatures to see, crystals clear water and soft white sands.
Special thank you to Ally, the manager, who asked the staff to dive to ocean to get my husband’s glasses back just before we left the resort.
Thank you for the staff who dive to get the glasses too. You are life saver! Otherwise my husband could not see properly.
Thank you Ibrahim who took care of our room with exceptional clean and tidy everyday. He was really super star.
And thank you for Andrea, Spa staff, for very good massage and fixed my leg from the pain. I recommended all the guests to book with her there while I stayed.
All the rest of staffs were very good and attentive too. Keep it up the good work and do not drop the standards. We will definitely come back again.

Fabulous place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Maldives!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was a super relaxing vacation! We loved everything, from the spacious and beautiful privet villa, to the kindness and professionalism of the crew, the incredible sandy beach, the snorkeling and fishing trips! What a lovely honeymoon.

Best resort we have been so far in Maldive, clean & nice rooms and great food. Enjoyed every moment/Wait to come back.

Very good place to relax and find peace. A lot of extras … gym … children swimming pool … infinity pool at bar and beach. The breakfast and buffet setup are perfect and a lot of choises. A must … fresh lobster at the beach front …

Food was great despite what you hear about others who complain about everything. Staff was fantastic during our stay. Water couldn't have been better. We liked how this island is smaller, intimate and not a typically large resort with too many people. Yes there were quite a few Italians, but they are very friendly and not imposing. Not too many children during our stay. In flight to Dhigufaru with transmaldivian airways float plane was remarkable and quite a thrilling experience. Try to get a discount here and it'll be worth it.

A cozy and not too pretencious place where you can forget about wearing shoes for the whole period of your stay. This is just a little gem in the middle of the Indian ocean with mesmerizing landscapes, amazing sea beds thriving with life. Fishes of all sorts and colours, baby sharks, stingrays and mantas are an everyday experience. Semi water villas are just a treat for your mind and soul. A special note to the great LOCAL staff of Dhigufaru restaurant and pool bar always smiling and careful about your needs. If you are looking for a home away from home this is the place for you. Just a small note on the music selection during meals and aperitifs that could have been better choosing a softer and more relaxing mood…

Great villas with exclusive facilities. Very friendly staff, great food, everything is kept very clean. Cleaning staff comes 3x daily. Our best holiday until now. Definitely want to come back.

Stayed 12 nights in February 2018 for a bit more than 10'000 USD for an all inclusive package. Small and beautiful island. Good spots for snorkeling. Nice and very friendly waiters. Semi water villas were nicely furnished and confortable. But… Hotel Management at the reception VERY unprofessionnal and unfriendly (wanted me to leave the room at 0950 for 'operational reasons' despite the published noon check out time. Asked me to pay for the last dinner, just because I did the check-out a bit early before noon and planning to have dinner just afterwards instead of the other way round). Food at the restaurant was quite poor for a 5 stars hotel. No vegetarian meal, by the way! It's definitively an overrated ☆☆☆☆☆. In my opinion, it deserves only a good ☆☆☆ stars.

Our best holiday so far. Resort and island with the turquoise lagoon and white sand beach are just fabulous; rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable, transfer from/to the airport perfectly organised. Food was delicious and service on a top level. Extremely friendly and helpful staff made our stay so pleasant that we would love to come back again at any time.

This year you can not make notes. All the services are at the top after some uncertainty last year.

I have been to the Maldives several times and this year I have tried this new island. Very nice and well taken care of, little vegetation, but it is normal given the small size of the island. Beautiful coral reef. Rich in every comfort the island is a small paradise. They pamper you every second and you never miss anything. Place that it is really worth it to be experienced. Very good quality price.

Extraordinary place where you seem to stand in a spell for the beauty of the place really wonderful I recommend it to everyone and a holiday not to be missed.

Ants bothered me little (scale 1/10 but accepted as it is a natural island) so make sure to clear yourself and clothes from them if you lie on ground for long time. The architecture of villas and lighting is artistic. TV channels are limited. Advise to take ear plugs for the seaplane flight. The scenery is fabulous.

I really advice everybody to come to this place. The island is small what brings many advantages sometimes forgotten. However has everything, Gym, dive centre, sports water center, restaurante with all kind of food, The place is gorgeous and with nature surrounding us all the time. The pool is well located but for us what makes this resort worthing the price is there staff. Fantastic, polite and always ready to help you. A special word for "Sam" in the restaurant, for Izzé and the incredible adventure with the dolphins which will be retain in our memories and last but not least to Mohamed and Ibrahim who enter in our hearts for there simplicity but also for there professional.
A 5 stars resort with everything to be one of the best in the Maldives, if they never forget that there most value are there employes.

It is a new built resort, the surroundings are beautiful, artificially created, the landscape was modified totally into 5 resort. The villa is well furnished and with open shower and bathroom, really comfortable. You may find tubes, concrete and iron in the water in front of your villa. We had a hard local food smell for 3 of 7 days stay in the villa and on the beach. We were supposed to stay in a semi water villa according to the chat with Dhigufaru, when we arrived, we have been registered to a Beach villa 302. We saw on place sting ray, small sharks, jelly fish, the best place for snorkeling is the "jetty". Various choice of food and drinks in the restaurant. Based on our experience before that on Dharavandhoo island, all activities were very expensive (up to 10 times) … 5 resort.

This hotel is over rated, the main reason maybe they had a contract with an Italian travel agency so most of them are happy they speak and occupy the island like they are home. Nothing is too special on this Island, beaches they are all belonging to the Italians. Those seniors stared at you if you pass their beach villas. If you prefer to live in the semi water villas, it means you are not enjoying the other areas but only your tiny bit at your 'back garden". 90% of the guests are from Italy. The food is a combination of local and Italian. My baby girl was very popular there but we don't want any kisses from the Italian seniors and the employees. Hope they can understand babies are not as tough as adults, they might get sick or receive virus if different people kiss them.

I'm constantly surprised by the beauty and wonders of nature. No need to search for the fairy elves in magical forests, the wonders of the next. For me, this Dhigufaru Island Resort is the living embodiment of a miracle! Absolutely unique, every detail is thought out. Guests are welcome family members, which meet with maximum honors, catch their desire, and like in a fairy tale performed. The staff is generally one of the main assets of the hotel. Friendly, helpful, but with dignity. They created an atmosphere of total unity with this fabulous island. Can't resist not to recall employees in the restaurant, on the Bar. Especially Alina (Emily) is simply the soul of this hotel.

STAFF: very friendly and helpful. FOOD: average food, not many choice. No pork here. ROOM: (semi-water villa) the room is new and comfortable, but it's not really a water villa, so I think maybe beach villa is better. SNORKELING: from semi-water villa, you need to swim far to reach the coral reefs, that's what I don't like it. The best spot for snorkeling is in front of the restaurant. But water is not very clear, because it's windy all the time. And my husband also got sick because of it. SPA: actually good POOL BAR: great spot for sunset Wi-Fi: so slow OTHERS: kind of overrated. Small island. If you don't drink much, AI is not necessary. (Besides juice is not included. )

Everything, We absolutely loved our stay on the beautiful island. Its not just the island and amenities that make up a wonderful resort, but also the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. Attentive, friendly and just beautiful people. Shout out to Chef, GRO who was amazing! We look forward to visiting you all again soon.

This hotel is hugely overrated, I am actually wondering if the positive reviews are real reviews. From the moment we arrived we did not feel welcome at all, another group of people arrived at the same time and had a full committee waiting for them, we were pushed aside and rushed to our room. On our way to the room the hotel staff asked my partner about the birthday surprise he was preparing for me. It was actually his birthday… totally ruined the surprise I had planned. We had booked an all inclusive package, what a waste of money: very average buffet restaurant, 2nd restaurant is closed, breakfast until 8:30am only (which is 9:30 their time for some reason), staff says no to everything… In the evening, the bar was taken over by an Italian father and son doing Italian karaoke. No consideration for other people or nationalities. Karaoke made the place feel really cheap. Definitely not 5* entertainment. The beaches are stunning but the island itself is nothing special, it feels more like a freshly planted botanical garden than an tropical island. And the views of mouldy sand bags from our semi water villa was seriously disgusting. Did I mention the 5am loud prayer call from the mosque? Yep, a mosque on the island. I love and respect all traditions and religions, but this isn't how I Imagined waking up in the Maldives. We complained to the manager about the issues we had on the 1st day: not one apology from him.
