Everything was perfect, from the bed to the desk of any kind. Diving excellent! Very professional, good job!

The hosts are great people who will go out of the way to make your stay to remember. The resort is relaxing food is great and the diving fantastic. The captain is a good man. I wish it was closer.

I would go back and I definitely recommend it. There are 4 flirty cabins in an interior garden. A few steps from the airport. I went without many expectations since the few dollars included half board, because my surprise began from minute one when contacting directly by email with Greta who attended me great before arriving. Then minute two when Faisel picks me up by boat, I already have the Wasap and the communication is fast, minute 3 … Tito el lorito greets me and I already cross the common areas with sandy soil and the garden very well maintained, The place has charm. Minute 4, I love my Turtle cabin, it's more in the background in front of Shark if I'm not mistaken and they are more private. It is time to shake the coral sand and enter, good air conditioning, clean and with lamps on the bedside tables, which I appreciate very much. Anti mosquito apparatus and repellent cream, you already feel careful, you like that! Minute 4, the middle bathroom I discovered the sky, Italian shower and handmade finishes, everything clean and care, water to fill free, clean the room every day more points in your favor, I need a fan in case I do not want to put the air. To shorten my criticism, I also liked that they lend you free of charge bicycles and these are very beautiful. The charming breakfast inside that you have to adapt to the circumstance of being isolated in a country without agriculture and difficult and expensive to bring everything.

Greta and Shareef are simply stars! A little heaven close to the Dharavandhoo airport, but far enough to relax and enjoy the Italian influence in a local dive center. Great staff, amazing food!, brilliant diving. My wife and me come back! Soon!

Lovely local island with lovely inhabitants! I stayed there twice, once for work and I returned for holidays after some years as they offer hotels now there. Surely tourism can help the economic situation on that island, but I hope it won‘t be at the cost of the astonishing nature and wonderful people on this island especially as this is the main attraction of this place. I would always come back!

Favourite island in the Maldives.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Blue World! Shareef picked us up at the airport and the accommodations were beautiful and spacious! Greta, Shareef, Jessie and all the people at Blue World were so hospitable and amazing! They brought us to amazing dives and snorkeling sessions as well! The location was minutes from the beach! The food at Blue World was also simply too good! There were nice communal areas and everyone took great care of us! Fantastic place and would recommend anyone to go!

Dharavandhoo (Dhivehi: ދަރަވަންދޫ) is one of the inhabited islands of Baa Atoll. This island is surrounded by clear waters known as 'Dharavandhoo Thila' & Hanifaru Bay; which are famous amongst divers around the world, for it is a sanctuary for a variety of marine life, including manta rays and whale sharks. This globally renowned eco-life zone is now strictly protected by law. The economy is mainly based on tourism related activities, fishery and agriculture, though most of the educated run their own businesses or are employed with work in Male (the capital city of Maldives). The education system is only available up to secondary school; further education is sought from Male' or elsewhere. Dharavandhoo Airport was opened on 17 October 2012. Inner harbour dredged at first in 1997. Started on 11 September 1997. Completed 09 December 1997. Work done by MTCC. The community leader of the dredging was the Mr. Abdul Hakeem Idrees under the Leadership of the Island chief Mr. Abdullah Muaz. The island also consists of a Health Centre, a Children's Nursery School, two Football Grounds, a break-water Jetty, a Powerhouse (run by a Utility Company), and two mosques. The citizen of the island are all Dhivehi speaking. The island is administered by an Island Council consisting of 3 councilors elected by the people of the island.

Nice island with a nice beach. Calm and quiet island. A wonderful place to take a break from work.

We were the first guests of Blue World. Last week of July before August. I never write reviews, this time I think it's worth it. We already knew Greta and Shareef, we knew about the professionalism and dedication that in the various diving they directed reserved for divers. In Dharavandhoo we had proof that the same care, the same passion, have been able to transfer them into the many details that make Blue World something more than a guest house of taste. Careful hosts, Greta's cuisine, from homemade biscuits to crab spaghetti, can blend the Italian flavor with the imagination so well that, clearly in the background, passes the fact that you can not afford either a beer or a glass of wine. The attention and attention to detail are also in the rooms, four spacious bungalows, each dedicated to a inhabitant of the precious Maldivian sea. In short, our two weeks were an affectionate holiday, beautiful diving between manals, real life on a real island.
