Once upon the arrival of the island, the hospitality offer by decent team of management Mr Karlos and staff from Bubu resort. From the arrangement of the rooms, until we leave the island. Really make us feel at home. We definitely will come back.

Food was super awesome and good place to relax.

Staff are friendly, we stayed at the resort, the room is clean and nice.

The restaurant has around 20 tables and seems nice but the service is embarrassing: we weren’t even able to eat there and we had to leave. We waited around 15 mins for a table and another 20 min for ordering. When we finally stopped someone (maybe the chief of staff) she told us in a rude way that only the BBQ food could be made in less than 1 hour. Instead of telling us at the begging we waited 40 minutes for nothing. Prices above average and 10% charge for a service worst than all other restaurants we were in Malaysia.

This review is for the World Cafe at Bubu VIlla. We stayed 3 nights in Perhentian Long Beach and went for 3 meals at the World Cafe (2 lunches and a dinner). The food was slightly pricier but it was well worth it. We had an amazing grilled snapper and prawn dinner and it was one of the best grilled seafood dinner we had in a while. They also had a decent selection of wine and good salads, pasta and local cuisine. The service was top notch, very friendly and professional and the ambience was nice. We enjoyed eating with our feet in the sand at night, when it is not too hot.

Great service but the establishment is too noisy in the evenings for a couple with children. On the other hand the beach is of a breathtaking clarity. A treat for families during the day and during the meal hours only.

Nice people, good food, beautiful spacious rooms and of course a beautiful happy island. Stay time begin of October and still nice weather and easy sea. Bubu villa is the ultimate place on a bounty island like Perhentian Kecil. I want to give 6 stars on this review if it was possible…

Great place, best coffee, Wi-Fi and food on the beach. One very unpleasant employee, but the rest of the crew was awesome!

So much better than anything else around. Rani and staff were incredibly hospitable — welcoming, friendly, talkative. Don't bother trying the other places — head straight to Bubu.

With the price paid for the villa per night, one would expect a TV, and a decent Internet connection to be available in the villa. Unfortunately, there isn't a TV set in the room and you can only get connected to the Internet at the reception area. Yes, the idea to come to Perhentian is to enjoy the beach and the sea. However, one cannot be in the water all the time. You would also need to return to the room in order to recuperate, relax, and sleep. Returning to a dull room with no form of entertainment whatsoever on your vacation is boring and dull. The issue becomes even more pressing when you have an autistic child who needs the TV or Internet to keep him from having a meltdown. One the bright side, the overall service of the staff was good. They were polite and well mannered. But then again, this is what you would expect for a world class hotel…

Really nice place. Well worth a visit. Spa massage excellent. A little noisy at the time we were there with a party going on close by both nights of our trip but it did not spoil our experience there. Would love to go back again one day. Would give five stars if a little quieter at night…
