Good location. Easy to walk around downtown Ipoh.

Clean and centrally located.

Lousy hotel. Go back hitel at night and found out no water supply. The reception claim that government problem. Obviously there is a room with water, not enough pressure to supply to every room. This place not fit to be a hotel as they dont invest and build it properly. Nt even a water pump to make sure enough pressure to every room water suoply and giving lame excuses… waste of my money.

Good location…just need to upgrade facilities.

Good place to stay as warm welcome from the staff.

This hotel is really clean and price very reasonable. Near all the famous local food.

My kid & I love the hotel & the room that we extended 1 more night. Easy access to so many eateries & shops in this area! Good food & good place to shop for local products!

Hotel at a very good location, near to popular food places and just a walk away from Gerbang Malam bazaar. Superior double room is quite small but enough to fit 2 people. Don't bring big luggages. Got free private parkings which is a big advantage as parking spaces around the area is infested with beggars asking for money each time you park. Friendly and responsible staff.

Nice place, the bed is comfortable and when you're in a city like Ipoh you should be out eating food not stuck in your room, so that's all that mattered.

The place was ok, the beds were comfortable. AC didn’t work properly and was too cold (even on the warmest setting) and if you turn it off the tiny room got really warm. When we asked the lady at the counter she said that every room is like this and she can’t help us. Made the stay pretty uncomfortable because the AC blew directly on the beds and I got ill because of it. Shower and toilet were clean and pretty good.

The room was really small … Feeling a little shabby, a lot of room on a floor.

The air circulation is bad especially Toilet.
Aircond not cool. Hairdryer not function.

 That's the first time that I got to stay in the Le Metrotel, Ipoh. Staff are polite and helpful, they need more improvements on the toilet of the room itself. The whole toilet is flat which there r no partition between the toilet area and bathing area. Ponding water happens, and that's very uncomfortable to those who stay in it. Hope the management could look into this and improve accordingly. Others like the location are just perfect. Water temperature is adjustable which is good. The TV which mount on wall have all the local channels, and they even have the USB port, but the it only allows for photos and music. : (

Very centrally located place within walking distance to the popular hawker and well known eateries in Ipoh. Rooms are surprisingly well appointed and comfortable. Book early avoid disappointment.

Reserved parking available for hotel guests. Waling distance to good eats and night market. Because it is located by the main road it can be noisy at night due to traffic.

This hotel is the worse place than I stay before. I will suggest everyone please think twice before stay in this hotel! The attitude of the receptionist very no manner & calculative, especially the senior person!

We booked 3 rooms through phone calls and confirm again that we want the rooms at 2nd floor through email. Nobody bother to check mails at the end. When we reached, the lady receptionist said there is no guarantee being made, who made the promise?! 1st floor is available only as some customers in 2nd floor extended their stay. She continue to defend herself and the voice is getting louder. It's ok for not apologizing but she tone up her voice and confront us. Until I said refund and we move to other hotel, miracle happened, 3 rooms suddenly available on the 2nd floor. Wow impressive! I've been staying this hotel for few times, service and the room is getting worse. Location is nearby some so called famous eateries, other than this, I don't find anything good with this hotel.

I think not a 2 star hotel… too much electronic system… too convenient and comfort.

This is our 2nd time a this hotel, we booked the 3 rm apt which is big can stay 8 to 10 ppl, hotel is clean and walking distant to all the famous stall.

I have rarely had to write a bad review on a Hotel, we travel 8 months of most years, there are many opportunities for us to experience poor Hotels and Poor Service. -1 Star for arriving into a room with long Black Hairs in the Bed. -1 Star for not having a mini Fridge in the room when the Temperatures Outside are constantly super Hot. -1 Star for being Charged $7 Dollars a Night for a room with a Fridge and then moving out of the first room and into the very slightly larger room (with a fridge) Which had even more hairs on the bed and floor than the first room. -1 Star for Awful Internet which turned Off several times a day. Needing you to ask the lobby to reset it and if you were lucky and got a member of staff that would do it, you might have crawlingly slow internet for a few hours. However, the second time I went down to the lobby to ask if they could fix the dead internet the Seemingly uninterested Gentleman just mumbled no other guest has complained yet? -1 Star for being Woken up at 7.30 after a long day and little sleep to Music being played Loudly outside my room. Was it a guest? No, it was the Hotel piping Music into the corridors, there was a Speaker just above my door and they thought it was appropriate we all wake up to their Radio Station. I was later told by the Manager that all Hotels had Music Piped into the Corridors. I told him that in the 1000's I have staid in this was the first.

Nice budget hotel in ipoh town :)

Convenient to everywhere?

Friendly and patient staff for french who do not speak the french. Room small but clean and well equipped.

New hotel in Ipoh heart of city. Clean room, ok bathroom, but not so spacious, no safe box no fridge. LCD TV fixed on the wall, HDMI slot not reachable, parking lot provided at walking distance.

The worst attitude of the receptionists I ever met! Totally no manners on communication, don't think to survive in servicing field, you are not qualify. We can have a better hotel which is more worth for the value that we pay you. I will advise you not to try or you will be disappointed.
