Staying at Villa Tanjung Wan gives you comfort plus adventure. Comes with butler service and your own private pool, the Villa has 7 bedrooms which can accomodate 18 pax. The Belum excursion is a must! The guides are very informative. Beyond expectation overall. Awesome!

I have been here a couple of times and it’s unfortunate that they don’t refund a regular customer for a booking canceled due to lockdown. Still have an email from them stating they will give a refund.
When reaching out, they don’t reply anymore. Booking was done through booking. Com
And they cant even get them to answer. Poor customer service that is! I guess Booking. Com also removed them from their site, as u can’t book the hotel through them anymore. Booking was for March it is October now, still no communication whatsoever. Never going back there ever again!
If you guys survive these difficult times, you won’t survive after with service like this!

The room is comfortable and nice. The food not so many choices but still great! At night, you can go to the bar to chill and relax. The services is very good and resort have 24hours buggy services, so easy to go around. Overall, Amazing!

My family had a lovely time. The resort staff especially the ones at hornbill restaurant really made us feel welcomed with their great hospitality. Keep it up.

The BEST! I like the privacy given to each room and the location of the room with green scenery. Marvelous! I love the greens and love the herbs garden! It was raining but that contributed to the fun I had. Playing in the rain! Thanks to the Belum Management. The staff s were so nice and they have lots of experience. And and. Hunting for elephants in Dec was fun. Thank you again. Please visit Belum Rainforest when you are in Malaysia.

One of the best rainforest resort ever went. With reasonable price and alot of adventerous activities. Enjoyed the night trek n bamboo rafting. Good hospitality!

Short gateway with family… out of city. Nice and breathtaking view.

Resort? I doubt not resort. Staffs terrible service, Calll for buggy said maintenance unless we can wait which take very long time. Call for reservation for our foot massage to operator, he said why call him? Not worth the price at all. Cleanliness terrible, room did mot clean well. Breakfast with all insects, toilet paper is the recycle which already wet but dried up for us to use. Strongly not recommend at all.

Breathtaking view… food was unexpectedly good.

I love our room and the fact that we can explore the resort and take some photos. The pool is a tad small I think but it’s beautiful with the Temenggor Lake as your view. However, not crazy about the limited menu at the restaurants. Not only are the menu limited, some stuff we wanted to order are either in limited quantity or are not available. The molten lava cake I ordered turned out to be a normal chocolate cake. That was disappointing. … There isn’t a convenience store on the resort. My hubby had a headache and I couldn’t even get a panadol! And no in house doctor. When asked why they don’t make panadol available for guests, I was told they were not allowed to sell medicines. I don’t understand it. Panadol is an over-the-counter medication and you shd be able to buy it without a prescription. It is such a shame because it could be a great place. Management need to step up.

Good News :place has great views of nature, people are helpful, swimming pool is clean. BAD NEWS food is pretty bad. Rooms are not really clean (sticky floor). Price room bit to high for the room & foods quality.

Terrible food, staff very unhelpful and tours very limited and expensive. I've been reading through other reviews and honestly wonder if we went to the same place. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether.

After arriving and checking in to our immaculately prepared rooms, we, 3 adults and 2 boys went kayaking in the reservoir. Then played horse fighting in the pool. Hungry and tired after a quick shower, we ate a great sumptuous dinner served by the most courteous staffs despite Ramadan. 2nd morning we went out early jungle tracking after visiting an orang asli settlement. The boat ride was awesome. Tracking to see the rafflesia and the waterfall is the highlight of our 3 days and 2 nights stay. Back to hotel for a wonderful late lunch though we ate in front of the nice waterfall. Rested in the comfort of our beds until we are hungry for dinner which we ordered the wide variety to cater to each of our palate. Wonderful place if u love nature and enjoy keeping busy in the wilderness. Highly recommended.

The overall resort is nice but did not have pleasant experience there. Definitely not worth RM500+ /night for our room! Room was not equipped for 3 pax even though we booked much earlier. The aircond was dripping, they could not fix it after 2 attempts, they just put a bucket to catch the water. We had to stay in room to wait for the maintenance staff. Our package includes buffet dinner but was only served set dinner because there was a big function dinner and not enough other hotel guests to serve buffet to us (not a good excuse! And should inform us earlier). Service staff not properly trained.

A nice cozy room with nice lightings and excellent decorations. Have balcony and can enjoy views of the lake and mountains. Heard the birds chirping in the morning. Buggies are available here. Location of this resort is in the jungle and the architecture of the resort is awesome.

The hotel itself is nice. Staff friendly. The food is mediocre. The tour is absolutely overpaid. 1 d tour made in 5 h. Lunch was a joke! Never 4 star hotel is. For Malaysia, price is absolutely unacceptable!

The high price does not mach the quality of their rooms; ornery room, 3 times the price of the other hotels. Also, beds are hard I couldn't sleep much. I do not like 2 prices, lower online. Dinner is ok but the price is height for Malaysia. I do not recommend staying here.

Average comfort. Meal little choice lacks a lot of things that are on the card. If your agency has forgotten to book the trip on the Lake. He n there's nothing to do.

So so for food. Environment good.

Good spacious room. No TV in room. Great view of the lake. Good spread at breakfast. If u like nature. This is a good retreat for u.

Just came back yesterday for a 3D2N stay there. probably due to Raya holiday, it was under-staffed as our room not cleaned during the stay and no coordination between the reception and the team. our package comes with trekking but front desk told us that will call us the next morning 0900 to confirm. Next morning no call. Walked to front desk and asked us to walk to jetty as the gathering point there and walk starting 0930 at jetty, meet the staff, was surprised on the arrangement and told that (no guide that morning) BUT he will personally bring us there but gathering point is the other corner of the resort and is 0945. too much lights at the roof platform that supposing meant for stargazing.

Great Place to go for with New enhanced quality of Food and Services. A calming place to go.
