The breakfast, beach and pool were wonderful, so was our family room. The only drawback was the bath tub, the water was running so slow! The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade!

Many of our friends come to stay at least two nights a year, just like us! Fair price, comfortable room, great breakfast, beautiful location and excellent facilities (hotel although 4 stars but felt like the facilities were 5 stars). Here are our many memories… Great hotel, we will continue to support, keep it up!

Nice view and very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel…

I went to Penang Beach Resort with my family recently to unwind. The hotel is comfortable. However, I would like to suggest that the staff especially the life guard to be more polite to the guests especially when giving warning because he was quite rude. He was using his finger to ask one of of my family member to not get in the pool. He was raising his voice.

Friendly staff, lovely beach, amazing view from the balcony where you can sit, sip coffee and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and mountains over sunset.
The pool is suitable for kids and there are many activities like jet skiing, banana boating, horse riding, foot and body massage to unwind and lots of "street food" stalls where you can order drinks, shaved ice, burger and many more!

Very good service, staff are very friendly. The pool, the bar, the restaurant are so nice. Very recommended to all with big families. And also at night, all along road have a very best restaurant to choose and all are delicious.

Good hotel with awesome pool 4m deep and swim up bar. Good atmosphere with the garden! It is my second visit. It was excellent in 2007, just as excellent in 2019.

I initially booked Hard Rock Hotel next door. Now a non smoking hotel apart from area overlooking car park. Paid 5* prices +. Lots of children running around staff very helpful there. Booked a suite which it wasn't. Very small. Bathroom lovely but shower so low off ground would suit child! High season. Decided to move next door to Bayview. Third the price. 4* lovely grounds and pool. Right on beach. Very family friendly but more space for everyone. Staff lovely very helpful. Good value for money. Had room with partial sea view. We've enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.

We still have another 11 days here at Bayview Beach Resort. The staff are amazing and we would like to thank them sincerely for how they are so attentive when we are having breakfast each morning. It was extra special this morning with a surprise of “pau” Thankyou to the breakfast team.
We look forward to more happy days with you all. A big shout out to Chef A Seng & Chef Nazri. Who work their magic in the kitchen also Eliza and Salmi aided by Christie who keep the place running smoothly and Andy who keeps us informed on the weather while ensuring our table is kept spotless.
One minor problem is the pesky Crows who despite all attempts by the staff continue to fly in and steal food from the tables and intimidate small children.

We had a great lunch there as usual. The food and the staff were nothing less then spectacular.

Good environment and lots of facilities, but unfortunately no electricity. At night also always black out. Since the money cannot be returnable, not worth for money during short vacation. Not recomend at all.

The third time my family have stayed in this wonderful hotel.
The staff are amazing, the grounds are beautiful and breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and very clean.
Absolutely kid friendly and don’t forget to have the best massage in Penang with a very special man called sun … you can find him in hotel garden … you can even enjoy a horse ride on the beach … fantastic place to stay.

We will surely return. Kids very happy with the Kids Pool. 2 slides made them keep on running back to the pool. Adult pool also very spacious and able to accomodate large number of guests.

It was an old design resort hotel but it has a really spacious hotel room with balcony. The facilities there was old too. They have a drinking place middle of the swimming pool which is quite cool but the beach area around this resort is really dirty. Overall, the stay was fine. I’ll visit again, if they’re cheaper.

My one and only favourite hotel in batu feringgi. This is already my third time here. My kids love the pools so much. The room is also spacious and clean. Right across the hotel, there are many restaurants within walking distance. I have no complains at all.

Big resort. Lot of activities inside the resort. Large swimming pool, children play area, water park. The beach was Slightly disappointing as the water was not very clean. Food was good. There are nice and cheap eating joints outside the hotel as well. Hard Rock Hotel is just next to the hotel.

A very nice place. The rooms are of a bit old style but very spacious. Rooms on the back side of the hotel have excellent view. At the time of booking I had requested for a room with a view but when I checked-in, I was asked to pay extra money to get those rooms which was a bit unfair. Otherwise, an excellent place with all the beach activities — HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hotel rooms large and comfortable. They are upgrading rooms. Breakfasts great and large selection. Cater for all. Excellent location and hotel facilities are great. Excellent staff.

Bayview is currently under renovation and it may improve. On checking in the room we were allocated had a bad smell. Reception was happy to move us to new room. This was spacious and comfortable although a tad dated. The pool area was nice. Wifi was poor. Close proximity to good restaurants so no need to eat in.

Yes… Would like to recommend this place to others… The food was delicious especially chicken curry… just for the 1st day I stayed, the breakfast a bit late they prepared to guest house… But the next day was ok… Thanks to front desk manager for your efforts to make us feel better… just the room was too simple for me… The rest was ok…

When I booked my ticket for penang I thought three days are more than enough for the tour but the hotel itself was worth staying more nights. We reached the hotel earlier than checkin time and we were super tired. The hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. They let us check in early and gave us a service that we will never forget. From the breakfast to the room view to the pool, everything was beyond perfect. It made my stay so much better in penang. If I ever come again, this will my choice of stay :) thankyou so much team bayview for making it a memorable experience.

Stay only if on offer. Rooms are very old with malfunctioning toilet. Breakfast is low quality for a resort.

Nice location for night market and access to beach. Hotel rooms are well maintained but need to revamp the breakfast buffet menu. Overall friendly staffs and a pleasant stay.

On a couple of lights will go but about the sea forget.

Their services are good and fast response. For price they are not that expensive also. Though it was a four star hotel their service are better than the rating, they solved your issue very fast. Some cons is their equipment are kinda old so some are not really functioning and the tower they provided got weird smell but no worries report to them and they will take care of your issue.

Decent selection of food at breakfast time. Spacious gardens with plenty of sunbeds and shade. Very helpful staff around garden bar and pool area.

We'd have given 5 stars but for 1 issue. Stayed at HRH the previous year; more modern and thoroughly enjoyed it but enjoyed our stay in BB equally for different reasons. Recommended.

Services are good. No comparison to our standard here Their four star service is like 8 here. Price is good due to our strong currency. $300 ringgits is less then $100cad. There you get more then 4 star service. In Vancouver you cannot get a price of motel. $50 ringgit all you can eat give you more then 80 items. Sea food, salad, deserts, meat, local food and to much to list. Just use this conversion $1 cad equal $3 ringgit.

This has been the best hotel I’ve tried in Penang. Exceptional customer service and accommodation along with spectacular ocean view and amenities. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. The staff were always very friendly and helped me explore the area. The area itself is great for tourists with no shortage of restaurants and places to check out.

It's a great and pleasant stay. Swimming pool and the beach are good. However jacuzzi is just a namesake. It was a part of swimming pool and sucks. Kids would love the stay. Rooms are overall good.

Service isn't bad at all, but rooms could be cleaner. The bathroom especially could be better cleaned. Still, the seaside view is pretty decent, and service is good as stated earlier. Overall, would recommend, but with caveats, like how particular one is with cleanliness.

Outstanding hotel, right on the beach and serving a huge selection for breakfast. I could find nothing to complain about if I tried! Plenty of places to eat outside and the bus stop is close by. It can get busy at weekends, so often it is quicker to use the service lifts. Uber covers the area well now — the waterfalls are opposite, up a track to the right of the hotel, but difficult to access as you need to walk along a wall edge.

The hotels that bring back a lot of memories. been here since the 90s. easy to park easy to eat n shop. Can find everything within 2km radius. furniture a bit old but who cares. The rooms are spacious. The king bed can fit 3 people at once. the facilities in n out the hotel are fine. can do many beach activity here.

Foods are nice, rooms are large in size though there are so many of lights which were not in working condition. So many sports facilities available but chargeable. Location wise it's right in front of the beach. But little out side from the street food & main night life area of Batu firringi beach. It's a one of the perfect property to enjoy with friends & family.

Worst hotel accommodation I have ever stayed in.
Receptionist did not delivered what was committed and even over-charged us. I put my luggage at the concierge room as I need to go to downtown for some shopping. When I went back to collect my luggage, the concierge man requested me to go to the room to collect my luggage. And worst still, I requested for a bottle of mineral water, he asked me to go my room to take. I told him I have already checked out my room. He said once I have checked out, will not be able to give me any mineral water.

I was expecting a more western setting. I'm here at the Depavali party. Clean room. Pool area cozy and with good facilities.

Completely dated old hotel. Specially the rooms. Popular with local Malaysian. Front desk people and stuff are courteous. Room service lousy. Not staying again. Unfamiliar location. Better hotels available within 1 km radius at same tariff.

The hotel is nearby the beach and they also provided water activities. The room is big and spacious. The staff were friendly. The breakfast menu is OK. There are also spas and food restaurant near the hotel in walking distance. Overall, I love staying at Bayview Beach Resort.

Great pool and gardens. Rooms of reasonable quality but with stunning sea views. Could do with some renovations of internal paintwork. Food generally of good quality. Staff very helpful and attentive.

Very nice hotel. Great staff, good food especially the breakfast. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean if you get the seaview room. Only set back was the number of TV channels. About 10 or so channels. It would be nice to add additional so that at times can just relax in the room and watch some good movies. The Rooms was huge and super but the king size bed we slept on was for some reason hard.

Lovely environment and easy to access to nearest shops and night markets. I do appreciate this hotel management team to keep a good job as well and very helpful. Bayview hotel having a beautiful scenery on each sides. Couples can go for a walk beachside till the edge while seeing marvellous sunset…

Simply love the hotel for its price and environment. Comfortable room despite some of the furnishings are old, even the safe in my room are inaccessible. The pools are just amazing. Situated beside Hard Rock Hotel, you can even walk over to Hard Rock cafe for their delicious burgers! However, limited parking spot and the condition of the pavement on the parking is just bad. Would definitely come here again for the nice and warm hospitality by the hotel staffs and environment.

Rooms are a little dated, but well maintained regardless. Beach and pool are very good with a lot of water sport activities available. Location also very good, pretty close to the night markets and Hard Rock Cafe is just next door.

Old hotel, the rooms need to be updated, the breakfast was average if not less, the receptionist were very rude, I fell into an argument with one of them and at a certain point felt it could escalate to become a physical punch on! despite the fact that she was a female, they were unhelpful, rude and obnoxious apart from that it was quite far from the batu night marker.

Nice family vacation spot. Huge pool for adults and mini water park for childrens. Good breakfast spread. The family suites is huge and can easily fit 6 adults on existing beds. Only minus point is a bit far from ferringhi night market.

This resort is definitely deserve a 4 star rating. It is a very good vacation hotel for family with children pool, slides and others like a mini water theme park for children.

Very nice view and relaxing location. Good for people who just want to have a getaway from the all the hussle. Packed with quite a few watersport activities like para-sailing.
