Very comfortable, cozy place and clean. Those who love nature this is the right place for your satisfy. The blue sea, beautiful rain forest and flora n fauna is around you. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. We will definately come again.

Yes recommended. Me and my family were happy with the hospitality, friendly staff and the room was clean. The privacy beach was great. Not much selection of the food but we love their mee goreng and nasi goreng. Overall, we hope to come back here soon. P/s: do careful with the monkeys :)

Best place for leisure stay, everything was perfect.
But it's far from duty free stores and market so visitors get depended on it's own restaurants…

Spend 6 nights here. Not a 5 star but the staff were fantastic and the place clean. Really well located for the cable car. They had a problem with the bridge approach to the hotel as it was damaged in a storm but that is an act of God — they nevertheless arranged access via buggies. Very efficient. Restaurants at the hotel also excellent.

The rooms are seriously seriously dated and need to be cleaned better. The resort should really invest some money into updating the rooms. The beds were rediculously hard. I understand it is in the jungle but when you have roaches in your room and ants all over your sink, maybe the hotel should invest money into taking care of the rooms. Also, I hated that the pool and bar closed at 8. The people were nice though.

I loved this hotel it was so beautiful and well kept. I loved all the staff who were always smiling and willing to help. The food at the buffet restaurant was so delicious so hats off to the chefs! Reception staff made sure we were satisfied. I would go again and I would recommend Berjaya to all my friends.

Really nice place and a very nice get away from the city. The beach is also very beautiful. What I thought was disappointing was the food quality. It was about average at best, but it was definitely overly priced. Rooms are great; I liked my room and the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. It would be good if we had additional hand towels; but I'm not fussed about that.

Your staff looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble at any time. I brought my two adult grandchildren who were also very appreciative of your services. All your restaurants were very clean, beautifully decorated and we received great service when dining there. Given there was a language barrier, our needs were always met and we still received fantastic services from all your staff members including the shuttle drivers as they do a great job. Upon arrival for breakfast at the Brasserie Restaurant, I ordered a fresh orange juice one day and the next day, there it was waiting for me, how good is that! We all felt very special and are grateful for services received at meal times.

My family and I justed returned home from a wonderful 12 days at this beautiful resort. First week we stayed in adjoining chalet in rainforest which was simply stunning, listening to all nature sounds and seeing the huge horn birds land just 10 metres from our room. One of our rooms leaked due to heavy rains so we were upgraded to a much bigger chalet with beautiful views of the ocean and also gave us a voucher for a free buffet dinner for the inconvenience! Yes the rooms could possibly do with an upgrade but hey they were clean and comfortable, you really don’t spend that much time in your room anyway, too busy lazing by the pool, walking along the beach, enjoying the delicious food by the all the many restaurants and of course exploring this beautiful island, with many activities and sights. The staff were lovely and sweet, always smiling, I will miss seeing the cheeky monkeys on our balcony and the big gecko visiting us at night, not to mention the cheeky squirrels stealing the sugar from the beach restaurant! If u love nature and all that comes with it, I recommend! Simply stunning!

The hotel is unusual. There's a bungalow in the woods. You can live 24 hours for an experience and a beautiful view from the window of the sea. It is not realistic to get to your house on foot. You need to use the transport, which can wait up to 10 minutes. The rooms are old. The bed linen is minty. The staff are 80% unwelcoming. The sea is dirty, so to nearby is a port with yachts. The swimsuit was washed — the water was yellow. Breakfast is not very good. I liked the Thai restaurant. The view of the sunset is stunning. The food is delicious. Pleasant musicians in the restaurant pleasantly surprised, sang for me a favorite song. Beware of monkeys! If you're on the balcony that's what, chances are a monkey will come and pull food. It is important to take a house without neighbors! We didn't know that. We came across a Malay family of three children and parents. The kids were always running and screaming, and the man was smoking on the balcony and it would swell with us. The climax was the morning awakening at 7, when two phones started ringing at the same time, but for 20 minutes no one heard them.

Super hotel. We'd love to come back here! IVF hotel drowning in greenery, real jungle. Were in 2017 with the band. Great breakfast, super dinner.

The resort is set in a stunning location with a fantastic pool and beach but also with mountain views and you are surrounded by nature (watch out for the macaques as they will go for your stuff if you’re by the pool). The facilities are generally very good and we stayed in a premier suite on water which is stunning with a little veranda out the back and a hot tub which is half in / half out and also overlooks the ocean. Niggles:
1) One of the blinds by the hot tub is a bit knackered and needs replacing — the edges are really tatty which caused it to get stuck and then the chord came off its wheel.
2) The water sports are overpriced and the staff there are neither friendly or helpful. They do not care whether you do an acitivity or not and are more than happy doing nothing. However they are the exception as all other staff at the hotel have been super sweet!
3) We had dinner at the Oriental Pearl (Chinese and Japanese) and for me the food was below the quality I would expect of a 5* hotel. Breakfast at the beach brasserie was brilliant and having dinner at the Thai restaurant tonight which is their premier restaurant so hoping that will be better.

We stayed at the Premier suite on water. Love the welcoming complimentary fruits. The interior is beautiful with an indoor bath tub and another outdoor Jazzuci facing the water. The view is fantastic! However, the curtain is broken on one side, you will lose privacy while bathing. You will expect it’s a little bit noisy at night because of the wave and the air — conditioner is a quite noisy too. The hotel is very nice and staff are very friendly. Staying at The Premier on Water will have breakfast at a different restaurant, however, food variety is limited and quality is average.

We booked into this Resort for us to enjoy our time in Langkawi because it provides activities and nature. The resort is run by a shuttle service very efficiently run who would take you to around the area as it’s vast! There are many restaurants to choose from, Indian &Western cuisine, Chinese, Thai, Italian or a buffet style service. The rooms were well equipped with the 5 star facilities. The beach and it’s unspoilt forest are stunning and views to die for. There’s a beach very close by and the pool has a pool bar where u can order your lunch and be brought to u charged to your room. There’s also a jacuzzi which is on the top level to the pool. We visited the cable cars and also the Skybridge 360 degrees panoramic views! Wow! What can we say? Stunning so beautiful we stood and absorbed the view! Berjaya we will be back again till then thank Puteri and Staff.

It's an amazing place! Swarms of langurs in the territory, at times wander macacas, on the trees you can see Malay wool wings (kaguans), flying birds-rhinos. It's a tropical paradise.
Very well-groomed area, which is nice to walk on. The hotel's great location is at the foot of the mountains, in the middle of the jungle, with a lovely sandy beach and mangroves.
The hotel's service is excellent. Prompt answers to any questions and queries, a very good menu at breakfasts and dinners, quality room cleaning. The shuttle delivers to oriental village at any time on request. You can also leave there, using the shuttle hotel, if you wait a little on the site where the arriving passengers disembark. However, walking about 10 minutes, so getting back to the hotel is not a problem at all, even if there is no shuttle.
I loved the hotel! Now my husband and I want to come back here as a family — with our son and my mother.

Nice spring and very good restoration.

I loved the resort it was like paradise. The shuttles were really good and always there when you needed them. I do wish I could have upgraded to bed and breakfast but was told this was not possible and it worked out quite expensive paying for it every day. We found our room to be clean and tidy with an amazing view out to sea. I did feel we were never given enough tea coffee sugar and milk and even when I asked for more at reception it never materialised. However I really enjoyed my stay.

The environment is great, completely in the jungle, there will be monkeys passing by. Room slightly inferior, ordinary Samsung Hotel decoration, bathroom there is a large spider web. The beach is very flat for people with poor water resistance to swim. Hotel is too big, travel only through the shuttle bus, sometimes waiting time is longer. Overall is still worth the experience.

This is THE spot! I recently honeymooned there and was blown away by the resort, island beauty, the fantastic food and ever-smiling locals! I cannot recommend it enough. I imagine this was what Thailand was like before it got too commercial so get in quick! So much love for Langkawi and the Berjaya Resort! :)

The hotel and surroundings were wonderful. The children particularly enjoyed the pool and games room. We thought all the restaurants were good although our firm favourite was the Thai restaurant where the food and ambience was outstanding. The biggest memory will be the wildlife — I've never seen so much wildlife on a hotel's doorstep and I hope this wildlife is preserved for the benefit of future visitors and the island's economy. Overall a fantastic holiday and we would definitely return one day and recommend the hotel to our friends.

Reception that handling my check in and check out very friendly, nice and beautiful too (I forgot her name). My room very good, my family really like it. My room was clean, excellent view, very good bathroom and comfy. Breakfast was nice too. Pahn Thai restaurant and Beach Brasserie excellent too. Overall, it's very happy to stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort.

A beautiful plant in the rainforest, which has already been in the years. The rain forest bungalows are great, also with care. The beach is beautiful, the underwater world has already suffered something. Dive Best in Thailand. The minibuses are necessary and disturbing.

Very nice and safe outdoor environment with some fantastic beach views. I stayed 4 nights on a business trip and didn't have much time to see around but was a great experience with very good customer service. Staff were kind and friendly. Overall excellent place. The only issue was lack of diversity in dinning options. Breakfast was a bit over priced!

A fun hotel in the jungle. Monkeys, squirrels. There are no snakes (I judge by the presence of lizards). There are no mosquitoes either. The sea is not predictable-tidefrequent, small jellyfish sting, sensations like salt water on wounds. They don't leave any traces.

Oh it was so nice here! I would recommend it to people who are more likely to relax and unwind so rather a cozy pool and beach holiday. The breakfast and dinner buffet was very plentiful and if you are open to new food is also highly recommended, with allergies/incompatibilities best to talk to the staff and you will be helped. The only thing you would have to watch out for would be wild macaques that are unfortunately fed by some tourists, but otherwise it was really very nice here!

I adore the Berjaya! I love the fact that it's as close to nature as you can get without having to sacrifice life's everyday little luxuries! I have been coming back again and again for many years and never tire of it's serene atmosphere even at major holiday times when it never feels too crowded or too commercial. The gardens are lush, the beach is clean and the sea sparkling. The restaurants are terrific and the Spa awesome and it's quick and easy and economical to get wherever you want to on the Island The staff are attentive, helpful, friendly and always treat me like the Queen and so it gets more and more like coming to my second home in Asia. I can't wait to get back again, Thank you Berjaya!

The beautiful Berjaya Langkawi Resort is located at the end of the road, right by the sea, away from the traffic. The pile-dwelling rainforest chalets of the first row are located directly on the sea, which is the 2nd And third row are partly deep in the rainforest. Transport takes place with small shuttle buses (24h shuttle service) to and from the lobby. Numerous exotic animals such as monkeys; Monitor lizards around the chalets. In the immediate vicinity of the lobby you can watch the Rhino birds! The restaurants are high quality, superior price range, the breakfast buffet is very good and extensive with lots of fresh tropical fruits! The chalets are clean, daily cleaning with laundry — and towel change. Pools and beach are very well maintained! A 10-minute walk will take you to the Skytrex cable car and Oriental village with numerous shopping opportunities and simple, inexpensive restaurants. Approx. 3, 5 km from Petronas Harbour Park. There are many interesting excursion possibilities and jungle hikes offered! For an island tour, a car rental is ideal, well-developed roads, but beware automatic cars and left traffic! From Lankawi Airport you can take a taxi in about 20-30 minutes at the Berjaya Langkawi Resort. Taxis have a fixed price. I was already 2x at this resort, I'll be back!

Lovely room. Pool is a perfect temperature. Beach was pretty and clean. They would sell more drinks if they went around the chairs on the beach but up to them really. Our chalet was not far from reception maybe 5 minute walk but I can see why some people who are a long walk from the main complex and need to rely in the shuttle might find that annoying. However if you call the shuttle it doesn't take long to come. I think you just need to be aware they can be busy and need to allow for that when you call them.

Supposedly the largest hotel on Langkawi — and a 5 star resort. It is indeed a very large and very well maintained facility, but has already come a bit in the years.
The staff was very friendly and always helpful and tried to make everything possible.
The family chalets were a bit worn, the bed squeaked, but everything was very clean.
Monkeys walk freely around the grounds, which is equally fascinating and a bit scary — but they are more likely to loot trash and not to steal tourists.
Food can be found in the resort in various restaurants, everything was delicious — but has its price.
In hindsight I didn't like that it was so remote — you stuck a bit tight we always depended on a taxi.

Heard buggy handlers mentioning couple of times, "let guests carry their own luggage, it's not our job", kind of let down for a reputed hotel. Baggage handling / support can be improved. Overall a good experience.

Beautiful, but the sea is cloudy and biting, the nets in the water do not help much. Noisy from the cars that are carried around the territory. Successfully located to the funicular, for a couple of days you can stop.

The chalet was very nice, with a lot of space. Bed was very comfortable. The monkeys around the pool are so cute. But the macaques were frightening. They were very aggressive. So the balcony was not usable. Shuttle service is a big plus! Liked it very much overall. Would like to come back one day.

We booked the jungle bungalow for 5 nights and the over water premiere chalet for 7 days as our honeymoon. When we arrived no one acknowledged we were on honeymoon which was a little disappointing as it’s your special time. However, really glad we chose jungle bungalow first, so much wildlife to see we saw monkeys, tree squirrels, hornbills, and heard cisadas all night. Just moved to over water bungalow, wow it’s pretty spectacular with a jacuzzi bath overlooking the sea with herein and other large birds diving for fish as you bath. We feel pretty special tonight, Thai restaurant really nice but others we felt lacking. Great location and hotel if you love nature, it’s not 5* but it’s a lovely experience. If you chose this hotel we hope you enjoy as much as we have.

It's a nice place, a green area. Decent service in the room is clean, there is all even a stob and a board. It's a lot from civilization. Prices in the hotel restaurants are quite comparable to Moscow (burger about 600 rubles, coffee 300)

Good breakfast, the rooms are cozy but the bed is not comfortable. It is a resting village as there are no big activities to do and the resort does not offer anything that is not paid for. Basically a good experience but for no more than 3/4 days.

Room is spacious. Buffet breakfast spread is good. The service crew is friendly and accommodate to our request. Nice beach and pool. It's good to see that the resort provides shuttle to Cable car :) Have heard a lot about monkeys but luckily don't encounter any attack in the room ;) If we are going to Langkawi next year, we will definitely return to stay in Berjaya Langkawi Resort.

It's overall a very comfortable and mind refreshing stay for us. We liked the beach walks during night. 24 hrs shuttle service is a add to the safety and comfort of the guests. Just one feedback that mini bar charges were not crystal clear, as this confused us whether it's free or chargeable. Thank you.

Hello, The resort is very nice looking, consistent with nature and good location, its Idea is perfect, the operating needs very strong team and honestly they are doing well and thanks for all of them, but (from my side of view) only some points need to be developed and taken care of it: 1 — The shuttle type are destroying the value of being in nature, it must be electrical one (golf car) or any type nature friendly with no sound (please put 100 line under no sound). 2 — The privacy between the units in complex with 4 units is zero, I can hear every thing in others flat which is no good at all, part of that is due the connected doors, I would advice to be sound-proofing to reduce that. 3-The variety of restaurants is good and, but what shocked us is that the fish is 3-4 days old even we are zero to the sea. I still would say very good, and please accept my words as recommendation and hopes but not comments. Regards. Sayd.

A very cozy secluded house. Its beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool. Scenic territory. The East Village is within walking distance.
Most of all did not like that every morning (at 9:00) under the house came a staff member with a motorcycle and blew off the road leaves. And instead of enjoying the sound of the surf in the morning I had to listen to the roar of his motor. That's what the "smart guy" came up with to do it in the morning? It's stupid.
Kayaks and other equipment were given only for an additional fee. In other beach hotels 5 star level (in which visited) it was free.
Overall a good hotel but falls short of its price.

The property was lovely, especially the pool area. While the staff was very nice, we had some competency issues — we had a delivery sent to the hotel that went missing, causing us to have to take a cab to the place, they had to drive over and retrieve it then. It took more time than it should have. The breakfast was over crowded at times, causing ling lines. Also, the breakfast quality was not great, compared to the previous resort we stayed at on this trip (in Bali). The shuttle service was absolutely terrible — we felt like we spent half our time their waiting for a damn shuttle. Sometimes, there were 20 or so people waiting for one and a shuttle would come and just take 1 couple. Then we wait. And wait. And wait. It was so annoying. Because of this alone, we would not return. Lastly, we were never provided fresh glassware or adequate towels in our room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I hope this feedback is helpful.

Super-Large Beach resort, there is water house, forest room, garden room, etc. Can see monkeys, fruit bats and so on, the restaurant food is very good.

Berjaya resorts is a beautiful property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway with all amenities at the property. The executive suite chalets on water are wonderfully designed and offer great views of the sea. The restaurants on site offer great options covering multiple cuisines in a beautiful setting. The sports and recreation facilities are available for all ages. The pool is also very nice and the resort has its own little private beach. We will definitely return and highly recommend this property.

An excellent hotel on a huge area. The buildings are partly so far apart that shuttle buses transport the guests.
The pool area is very large and nicely laid out. The many restaurants offer excellent quality.
The hotel is just outside. To get to the next place, you have to take a taxi.

It was a nice experience. Beautiful bungalows, perfect shuttle between lobby and bungalows. Internet also on the beach, not so crowded the loungers at the lagoon pool. Restaurants high quality, buffet also wonderful for breakfast. Very suitable for large families!

We had a great stay at Berjaya in Langkawi. Our room was beautiful, well-kept/cleaned, and comfortable. The grounds were impeccably maintained and all staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our dining experience was also very good. The quality was a 4 out of 5, but the variety was a 5 out of 5. All dining staff were courteous and professional. Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

It's a magical island with a hotel that wouldn't alter any of that magic! One of the rare places where you feel lazy to move out of just because it got it all! Some people expect high level of luxury and build high expectations! This place is amazingly clean, tidy, neat and gives you a sense of chilled laid-back 80's style. If you miss those days then this is your place to be!

Loved every second of our stay here. The staff were lovely, the location breathtaking, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend going to Pan Thai restaurant! It's right on the water and you're greeted by live music and phenomenal food. The resort has a really nice pool and is in close proximity to all major tourist spots. So sad we're leaving!

It is a plunge in nature to the pure state.

We were expecting at least normal hotel services especially with the price tag of these rooms. There should not have been a doorbell ring and several loud THUMPS on the door at 9.20am in the morning to 'check mini bar'. From my understanding, the mini bar is checked during checkout, after I've left the room, and not a loud wake up door banging. Maybe the ring would be acceptable if there weren't impatient DOOR BANGING in the time it took me to wake up to walk to the door. Though the surroundings of the chalet were unique, the actual room was run down. The lights in the wardrobe did not turn off when wardrobe is closed and the sofa was not usable as the seats were sliding off the frame. There was also a missing cabinet door below the sink. The shuttle service also provides no standard hotel privacy as our room numbers were YELLED out loud to the crowd like my name would be in a primary school bus. The only redeeming point is the friendly service we got from most of the staff in the hotel.

A great venue, that we enjoyed for the entire 7 nights. We stayed in a family chalet and found that the shuttle arrangements were efficient and effective. (Important as we were a fair way from the foyer. ) We traveled with two teenage boys and they weren't bored at any stage. Breakfast each day was a highlight and a most beautiful setting. The pool was brilliant as was the beach, although the water at the beach was basically too warm. (For my tastes, anyway. ) Our pool bar server Chandra proved to be amenable and friendly whilst Idris was very warm and welcoming, always stopping for a chat and a kind word. (He's a real asset to the resort. ) I would recommend Berjaya to any thinking of a great holiday.

Good location at the edge of the sea and the forest, with the rooms on stilts, super environment for our part in the forest. The shuttles take us directly to the reception of the hotel, with an average waiting time of not more than 5 minutes which is very nice. Stay that filled us.

Very nice! The chalets are immersed in lush vegetation! Our location was also ideal for moving to and from the lobby even without taking the minibus. Nice pool, sea… comfortable accommodation in beach chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very spacious rooms. Large bathroom with shower and tub… comfortable! Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels on the island.

Beautiful structure, great food (especially the Thai restaurant), immersed in the green, in fact beware of the monkeys! The Andaman Sea remains a spectacle and the location of the hotel is perfect. If you happen, do not underestimate an excursion to Pulau Payar, cute little island as insidious… (see photo).

Staff ready to solve every emergency! Near the port of Telaga from where the speed boats depart for Koh Lipe.

Nice Resort, without too many pretenses but clean, run by friendly staff and equipped with all the usual comforts. In the restaurants you eat quite well and the choice for breakfast in the morning is really wide. The Berjaya is located in the northwest area of the island and is quite isolated, so you have to rent a vehicle (car-scooter) in order to move and visit Langkawi. The beach of the resort is nice but has nothing exceptional so you have to turn around. The little monkeys that scamper between the bungalows and the pool are fun (at least until they put your hands on your purse! )

Breakfast menu was repeated every alternate day. Found a big intact fly in the noodles and informed the chef. Too many flies in the restaurant and no attempt from staff or hotel to shoo the flies away. Very disturbing to keep shooing flies while having breakfast. Phan Thai however was very good, whether it is menu variety or service from staff. Top notch, absolutely! The bed coordination for 1 of my rooms was wrong despite multiple emails sent to the hotel a month before my trip. In the end, have to approach check in counter for exchange. Good thing they were very accommodating.

I am very please with your resort. The staff provided good service, courteous and not intrusive. However I notice in a few instance staff driving the buggy too fast or using very old service vehicle that may be dangerous in the hill slopes. We had the buffet surf and turf which should have provided more seafood I think.

The staff were friendly and most helpful. The foods at both the Main Cafe for daily breakfast was good and had enough varieties. The Thai Restaurant foods was authentic and reasonable in price. The Deluxe Room was very comfortable and the well maintained.

Booking n check in/out is done very professionally, room is spotless clean and well kept. Wi-Fi is great not just in room but anywhere around the resort. Friendly hotel staff… Everything is good.

STAY SPOILED BY UNSCRUPULOUS STAFF MEMBER We stayed for 3 nights at Berjaya Langkawi Resort in late April 2016. We had one major incident that occurred through the hotel's Tour & Activities services that definitely spoiled our experience with Berjaya and leads to this negative review. We were aware that many poor quality unlicensed watersport companies operate in Langkawi, but that there were a few more professional operators as well. As we believed Berjaya Langkawi to be reputable, we decided to try arrange a half-day jetski island-hopping tour through the hotel and we were directed to the hotel's Tours & Activities desks located in the main foyer. When we went there we were served by a man called Abu, wearing the hotel staff uniform. He confirmed that he could arrange the jetski tours and asked us to follow him to his office. He produced a brochure for Mega Water Sports, which we already researched and knew to be a well-reputed, very well-reviewed jetski operator that we had already wanted to book with, even though they charged a high price by Langkawi standards. Seeing as Berjaya Resort was referring this same company, and this Abu man looked and dressed like he was a member of Berjaya's staff, we arranged the tour for $900 RM (which he took cash deposit and payment, as he said there as no credit card option). He arranged taxi transport from Berjaya to the watersports as well.

The Hotel itself is very nice but you have to make concessions. Just arrived, one waits in vain for the one the takes the suitcase in the reception. The welcome drink you can get yourself. Also do you have problems with the half Board, if you say nothing you will be forgotten very quickly. The Shuttle service worked great, all very friendly and helpful. Our Chalet Nr 1131 was the for blast it was in the second row and we had an unobstructed view of the sea. The room service was clean and friendly. The beach was cleaned on a daily basis so he always looked Top. The sea was flat was sloping which is very pleasant (water like in a bathtub). The Pool is super tricky, but great defects in the floor (tripping hazard) the glasses in the bar are cleaned only superficially, even the Strohalme be recycled (disgusting). The staff looks bored and everyone's work is out of the way. The Breakfast and the dinner is the total for Asians every day the same but good. Clear said, one can well recover, but the Hotel could make more of that are 3 more than enough for this Hotel.

We stayed here for a week in February 2012. We had such a wonderful time. The resort is gently nested into what I think is the most beautiful bay of the entire island. The resort is like a little world of its own. It is spacious enough to have different areas that really do have completely different atmosphere and style. Make sure to check out all the different bars and restaurants. The private beach is heaven. I would definitely recommend this place.

Pro's: Beautiful scenery, great food, nice room, awesome white beach, friendly staff, lots of animals to see like hornbills, great black squirrel and dusty leaf monkey. I've never been to a more beautiful place. Cons: It's big and you can feel like a number. You need to give your room number everywhere. If you like a more personal approach, don't go here. The toilet was a bit smelly.

A tranquil and nice resort built on a hill within the forest and at the same time adjoins the beach. Excellent villas amidst the greenery. Has a great pool and kids play area. The restaurants have delicious food, there is one that is over water as well.

Built very nice resort directly at the sea and in the jungle. We stayed in small detached houses in the 2 double rooms are located. There are beach houses, which are built directly on the beach on stilts over the sea. The resort operates a small railway, which commutes between the units and the main complex. In the complex you can see monkeys and also medium-sized lizards (about 80 cm).

We were from 30dicembre to January 9, 2016 everything was fantastic new years eve on dream Beach wonderful staff all very clean great food we would recommend okki kiusi.

Very big resort which is pretty, but has the downside of not being able to get to your room easily. Room was as expected. Its away from the resort area which means its nice and secluded, but you dont have access to a high street with restaurants nearby. Staff were OK. Close to the cable car, you can get a shuttle there. Its the best thing to see in Langkawi so that was very convenient.

Racist Malaysians everywhere in Langkawi. At the reception of berjaya employees seem so disinterested that it feels like that want you to leave right away. Overall not recommended for Indians. Guys beware I am telling you out of experience. I have stayed in Australia for 5 years and seriously you can't even say or compare the racism you go through in Langkawi. From cab drivers, to restaurants, tours, hotels etc. Everywhere … highly not recommended.

Lovely place, the shuttle service is also great! The beach is nice and jts very near to the cable car service.

Spectacular! The millor area of Langkawi.

It is a good quiet place to unwind once a year inside the forest where u can watch and feed monkeys in ur high chalet terrace, hear hundreds of cicadas sounds throughout the night. If u like nature, this is ur kind of place. A piece of advise, don't leave ur things outside I lost my left pair of sandal outside the monkey took it… It's a nice walk in the morning going to Oriental Village for a ride to cable cars on top of the mountain. There are beautiful panoramic views going out to the beach, clean, quiet and feels very private…

Lovely place with great location. I stayed for three nights and wish to come back again. Rooms are big and after discussion with the reception, I got one with a nice view. I recommend the rooms on the hill just nearby the sea.

Ultimate resort with all five star facility. Good combination of living alone in jungle along with all facilities. Thai resturent on sea is amazing.

An excellent hotel. All advise!

I would not recommend it to anybody! The service is less than adequate! The reception staff are very used to lie as a group. Now, on the 9th June 2015 the power is off and it has been off for more than an hour while I'm jailed in my room! I call and no one answer! I email and no one responded! I can't leave the room because it is 04:00 am unsafe and I don't have an umbrella for the heavy rain. bad bad bad.

An excellent Hotel in a huge Area. The buildings are sometimes so far apart that shuttles guests to transport. The pool area is very large us beautifully created. The many Restaurants offer all of excellent quality. The Hotel is located a bit outside. In the next place to go, you have to take a Taxi.

If good value luxury is your thing, this place is great. There are organised (free) nature walks and a great beach, with an all important jellyfish net! The food could be better, although the Thai restaurant was very good.

I got the chance to stay in Berjaya resort three nights and four mornings. I found it extremely good. The chalets are well maintained, breakfast was good. Room service is slow because of distance. Lots of monkeys are around, for those whom are living in trees side. Natural beauty is available. The sea side is beautiful. I strongly recommend people to Stay. The city is very quite, life is slow but worth to see. Things are on distance. Purchase is expensive, I found KL more cheaper than langkawi, forest are thick. Lizards are every where and of every size. V were welcomed by big fat Liz hugging main door. Aijaz.

Distinctly average. Bad beds, poor service. Great setting though. But the other two things make it poor value for money.

The room is very nice and the service is very very good. But you have to make sure that you could stay with thousands of lizards and millions of insects, not inside the room but nearly around. It's a jungle.

Having spent over a week at this resort, I would recommend it highly. Situated in an ideal location within a subtropical rainforest close to the beach. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking.
