I love this place because of the jungle and very nice people that runs the place.

Nice place, fruits farm around.

Up in the hill you might think you lost in your journey. But when reached the guesthouse, you can see half of the view over Kuala Teriang and the ocean. Right in the middle of the jungle, just outskirts the nearest local village. Truly a jungle experience.

Perfect place to meet new people and have great nights on the porch. Friendly and helpful owners.

It was like staying in a village or forest house, in a laid back atmosphere. Playful kittens, ducks and cute kids! We become part of their family. Shawn and Fauzia (sorry if I got the names wrong) are very friendly and helpful hosts. Since I don't like air conditioning, their house was very comfortable for me. Couldn't see any mosquitoes, though I felt a few mild bites in the dark. Then I unfurled the mosquito net and slept comfortably. I was first woken up by a rooster early in the morning, then by the quacking of their ducks. Had a boiled ducks egg for breakfast. Washrooms are very neat, clean and well equipped. Wi-Fi worked most of the time. Free drinking water downstairs. This was one of my best and most memorable stays at a hostel.

Beautiful place and lovely people, you may want to stay there forever.

I really loved this place! Even though the beds are really basic, the Guesthouse is in the middle of nature and you can find monkeys, geese, cats, dogs and huge lizards here. The hosting family, especially the kids are really nice and helpful. Breakfast is included into the price!

Had a great stay with Baba and his family at the Butterfly Guesthouse. It is the perfect place relax and really get to know the island of Langkawi. Baba and his wife were very accomodating and gave me loads of tips for where to visit that many of the other tourists don't go. They have scooters to rent which was great, everything is within an hours drive to all of the main tourist points. The guesthouse is set into the hills so you really get the full force of nature, but jus…t a 10 minute walk and you can find some of the best street food I have tasted in Malaysia. Beds and showers were great and breakfast is included in your stay. I will definately be coming back to visit! :)
