Decent mall with a good selection of shops and food/ drinks/ groceries. My colleagues who stayed at the adjoining hotel also tell me that the hotel is good.

The room was clean and functional — good for one person (twin beds) … the lifts were slow … but you almost got used to it!

I am so disappointed and annoyed with the service and upkeep of hotel. I am shocked that it shows as 4 stars … it does not deserve 2.5 stars even. We booked a stay for 9 days, all paid up.

Before I proceed with my complaint, I would like to say that I was pleased with a couple of Indian front desk staff and a Chinese concierge who were very helpful. … Complaints : We had a function to attend one evening. I called call centre in the morning to ask if I could have a table lamp at least for my makeup as the dressing area of the room was very dimly lit. It was too dim to do any writing, makeup or even see clearly if I were to do any ironing. I was told maintenance would handle it. Few hours went by and no one got back to me. I called second time, and just empty promises… and again the third time and was promised housekeeping would get back to me. Again, no-one called or handled the situation. 1. First off, you provide your guests with very bad lighting in the study/dressing area.
2. Your staff make empty promises.
3. Staff do not have the courtesy to even call me to inform that they are unable to provide me with what I need. Next Day :
I called the room service (same girl seems to be answering for all) and ask for some plates and spoons to be sent up to room for a cake I had. Again, polite staff saying yes sure they will send it up and I wait and wait and no-one came at all.

Daniel from Front Office needs to go to toilet or break I guess, but as he sees me walking there and queuing up he decide to walk back and assist me plus he updated the billing address! Good employee! 10 star for Daniel EL

A spacious room for the three of us. The only thing was we had to pay additional RM30 for the breakfast, as they said since we booked the room via online, they only provide breakfast for 2 guests. That was very annoying since they didn't include it in the fine print.

Nice hotel to stay with friendly staff, near to LRT station and great food during breakfast. The room is well furnished, spacious and clean.

First time come here. To receiving my awards as a winner for cook competition. What I can say. It's a amazing place. The washroom like a queenrooms… clean beaty and friendly.

Spacious! I love the unique division and layout of their room. It's well appointed too. It's the kind of accommodation that gives value for money. When in Subang, this hotel is highly recommended.

Fantastic for people who crave the convenience of manageable shopping, gym and comfortable stay at affordable price compared to the nearby busier Sunway which charges twice more for a room! The food is good, complimentary gym at The international fitness chain of Fitness First is a real bonus! Free parking is another big plus for hotel patrons!

I have stayed at Empire hotel on a few occassion in the past. Location Its located conveniently at SS16. It is surrounded by two shopping centers and an office. It is close to the regiinal Subang Airport. If you are a business traveller it will be a good and convenient location with excellent amenities. Hotel Facilities In terms of facilities that the hotel offers, it is not very good. Room configuration is strange, this makes me wonder whether the hotel is originally designed to be one. My guess is it is probably not. Most rooms open up to a working area and the toilet is sandwiched in between the working area to the bed room. This configuration is not convenient as people usually like to work and watch a bit of TV at the same time. Here, you will not be able to do that. Toilet fittings, coffee making facilities and TV programmes are all substandard. They are dated and worn off pretty good. Service: The level of service at reception, restaurant and room service is acceptable compared to other hotels. Food: I seldom eat at the hotel because there are many good food places around and will be cheaper. So I will not comment on this segment. Summary I stay at Empire primarily because of the location. The rooms are not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.

Bad service, staff dont know what they doing, half of them asleep! Terribly slow!

Stuff is nice. Hotel looks a bit wrecked down or on the way to. Quality of food in the morning is so-so. For dinner is quality too low. You find better in the attached shopping mall.

Good for short stay. Excellent food. Not giving it 5 stars due to following reasons: 1) We were staying over there for three days but shower gel and other products were not even changed once 2) The water in the shower was not warm enough 3) The lifts were the main source of delay as sometimes we had to wait for around 10 minutes for the lift.

There is no direct hotel lobby… car park is shared with mall and might be difficult to get parking if you are driving during weekends. 1) lifts seriously needs a upgrade. Super slow. it can take you 5-10 min each time to get up or down. 2) Not enough check in staff and it's slow. 3) Blankets are not clean. Have smells. Overall is 40/100 on ratings… can be improved much more due to prime location.

Decent room but no hot water in shower even after multiple request to send someone to fix it. No offers of swapping rooms for us. Definitely will be better off at other hotels, don't waste your time.

We had a training session in the Throne room. Facilities were ok. The participants were quite happy as they have shopping opportunities after the trainng session. The items for the buffet lunch seems to be less. Expected more varieties. Hopefully they have more or different varieties for the second day. They had a quite unique artistic sculptures.

Overall 8/10 Really spacious room and clean. A little on the wear and tear on their cabinet etc but overall is good. Great function room, it’s a mall beside as well. Really convenient to get whatever you need, from shopping to food and even grocery. Did I mention upon check in, they gave you 3hours free of karaoke by their in house brand! All you need to do is purchase a drink at $11 and u get free karaoke for 3hours. I will be back again if I had the chance.

Very nice place and very reasonable charges. Not very far from KL and less crowded and much calm environment with less traffic. Even though we didn't stay on luxury room, Reasonably spacious rooms with all quality amenities. Very hospitable staff. Breakfast buffet was extremely good with a large variation of Asian and Western food option. Spacious and less crowded restaurant is very welcoming and few live cooking stations were available.

Love the breakfast. Nice room, the shopping gallery is just next to the hotel, and can go to shopping gallery through the hotel, very convenient. However, subang parade is in walking distance. Around 10-15 mins walk.

It's scorching hot inside here. You guys didn't pay the TNB bill?

The security guard (in charged of motorcyclist parking, 6 pm 28/2/2018) is super rude & should not be employed. The supervisor is also not helpful when things get serious.

Good stay. Large and spacious rooms. The AC sometimes will no fill in entire room. Though, the technician came quickly to check once I informed.

The service is great. They lacked little amenities like toothpaste in the first place but I saw thst I could give them a call to request for it. Pretty quick on it apparently. Wi-Fi is superb! Some complaint: the lift is very slow, the car park is a little confusing. Once you get the car park verified, you gotta still head to the autopark pay station to further verify.

Location is good as it's next to the Empire mall and nearby Subang Parade mall which offers many options to cater to your shopping needs. Cabs and other public transportation options are easily accessible.

Poorly designed guestrooms that makes sleeping area very small. Translucent-like bathroom wall allows light to pass through and this can be disturbing to sleeping guest. Good physical location but will not recommend to friends because of the deficiencies of guestrooms.

It's not bad,, but the room was so dusty. Literally dusty which they had to transfer us to other room. I suggest you look for other hotels if you have time. We booked it at last minute (what I mean by dusty is the curtains and the side lamps) and the bed too. The hotel will be really amazing if they take care of this things.

Pleasent hotel, away from the terrible traffic in the city. Nice little mall below it. Train stations are 7 mins walk.

Location is ok, downstair there is mall hwere you can shop and eat, but the bed is quite hard I prefer softer bed rooms quite ok clean.

The empire Hotel has a great shopping centre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need.

Very nice hotel, very convenience. On the shopping mall, Easy the find restaurant! the breakfast provide by hotel is very nice. All provide the swimming pool. Except the room a little small.

A very nice hotel in Subang Jaya. We enjoyed the funky vibe, friendly staff and great food in the restaurants. We like the duplex suites, where we can entertain guests on the lower level, and have a private sleeping area on top. Parking is adequate, but a bit pricey.

Very nice hotel without breaking the bank. It's trendy and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Not the best but sufficient to meet the need of a visitor.

Everything is fine except for the gift or voucher that was given out on a single receipt of RM 288 on a single receipt is very high and also stop issuing around 8pm on a weekday with reason finished for the day… disappointing.

Our team were there for a wedding, the ballroom has a unique interior design with reasonably big reception area. The hotel rooms are cosy and comes with the essential amenities. The hotel is also connected to the mall, making it extremely convenient. Definitely worth what you'll pay for the rooms. And we will come back again.

Ofcoz the wall cracked, the whole building was involved in an explosion back in 2012 if u all forget.

So very average. First impression when you walk in to see a stained red carpet. Room walls are cracking, internet and TV remote didn't work. Do not come here if you have kids as they are not allowed to use the pool in fitness first.

Good 3* hotel if you wish to stay in an affluent suburb away from KL city. Lots to do at Empire and Parade and Pyramid.

Great hotel located a few steps away from restaurants, shops, and even massage parlor. Staffs were nice too!

Was there for cousin's wedding dinner on 27th October. Love the fact that the hotel has comfortable sofa at each of the levels of parking near the elevators for peeps who are tired of walking around the whole day. Found the place not to have separate parking areas for hotel guests and for mall shoppers which is a tradeoff for those attending function at the hotel. The food at the Emperor hall was just something. Other than that, the place is unique but a bit queer.
