Good place to be if you are in Kuala Lumpur. Rooms are decent. Hotel receptionist will welcome you with a warm heart. Indian food here is a challenge but we have 7/11 store right in front of the hotel, so all our needs fulfilled at will. Very neatly placed location. Everything is nearby. Buses, metro what not. Had a nice stay for 3 nights.

The location of this hotel is really great. Good hotel cleanliness. After every time you clean your room, be sure to check your bedding. Because the waiter, if he sees a clean bed, just arranges and does not change. Personnel encounter was really great. Helped us with addressing and how to get there by taxi and bus. The rating for the breakfast is 7 of 10. The toilet was really clean. But the toilet siphon was broken.

Good value for money, fifteen minutes to KLCC.

Very clean layout. Service was excellent. A well cleaned place and smelled great as soon as I walk in.

One might expect flawless rooms and amenities but not the case at all. The bathroom had plumbing issues and the rooms were just ok. Really liked the view though of downtown Kuala Lumpur nothing beats that. The breakfast spread was fabulous, too bad I had to rush to work in the morning the two days I spent there. Also was charged a "tourist tax" by the hotel more like the fleece tax! Not sure if this was completely made up just for me though. Would still give it a 3 just for the view and the breakfast spread…

This hotel needs a makeover. The interior is tired and banal. The usual toiletries like toothbrushes are missing, had to request from the front desk. We are actually very disappointed overall as we have checked in to the hotel after leaving Ibis in Bangkok. Ibis and Novotel are from the same hotel group. Ibis is generally a 3 star hotel whereas Novotel is 4 Star. At Ibis, everything from the breakfast to the service is amazing. It is almost opposite at Novotel. We came with a Accor Hotels Silver member and was not offered a welcome drink, we had to enquire once we were up in our rooms. The standard of hotels have risen dramatically over the last decade. Novotel is almost not worth it!

Good location at reasonable price but Hotel looking dated and not maintained to high standard. Breakfast was adequate and customer service acceptable.

Awesome Location, Very Good and friendly Staff, tidy and clean rooms. When I have another trip to KL or any where else I'm definitely choosing Novotel.

Great location but the hotel is very tired. It needs to be renovated and at times looks almost dirty. Despite having great shower pressure, even in a premier room there's shower over baths with curtains which just isn't great. Some money really needs to be spent bringing it back up to a good standard. Paint work is damaged, enamel coming off the bath and even the furniture looks like it's seen better days. We probably wouldn't stay again.

AWESOME people in Novotel Hotel… I was skeptical to book this hotel at first, due to the several negative reviews on them… but it had really proved me wrong… right from booking request / check-in / the rooms / housekeeping / breakfast / till check-out… everything was just perfect… the people at Novotel Hotel were fantastic… even the security at the main entrance (he was so helpful and always greeting with a smile) … not forgetting the perfect location for shopping… with the sheltered connection to the main malls… shopping was a breeze! Thank you Novotel Hotel KL for the remarkable hospitality… my family had a great time and we have found our 'for-sure' hotel accommodation in our next trip to KL… we will definitely be back at Novotel Hotel KL… special thanks to Front Office Manager Ms Yoon and Duty Manger Kant… (sorry cant remember the exact names)

Good location to stay in Kuala Lumpur. Easy to get public transport (bus, train and taxi) and walking distance to many shopping malls.

The hotel night manager was extremely rude. And asked us to stay in the lobby to sleep because he could not provide early checking. We were forced to stay outside in a new city with no one we knew till 4am. And then was forced to reserve another hotel. I will never recommend this hotel in this location ever. The hotel manager was not receptive, mean and seemed un bothered as if we were a pest for checking in at the time. The staff were equally rude and left us standing at the curb. We had to sit outside in front of the building till 4am. He expected us to sit in the lobby until 2pm to check in for our reservation. There was lack of customer service which seemed reflective of the hotel. We had a great experience in the same hotel in singapore but will never recommend this one in klcc.

Nice place to stay, near the most wonderful street that you can spend time with your fellow friends and have some fun. Clean rooms, good service. Moderate prices.

The best part is that it is located just a stone's throw away from Pavillion Shopping Mall. Checking in and out was smooth and easy. The price quoted for the room is very affordable considering that it is in the city centre. And the toiletries provided are earth friendly. The downside; quite a number actually… the room does not come with breakfast. The bedsheets are not very clean. The glass windows are dirty and the curtains dusty. My hubby even caught a bed bug on the curtain! There was no iron and ironing board in the room. The knobs to the toilet door does not work and the tap in the toilet sink leaked. We also had to contend with cold showers coz the heater didn't work most of the time.

Pros: Proximity to Pavilion KL, KLCC, & eating places. Affordable. Cons: Interior design is quite outdated. Toilet amenities are bare minimum. Room aircon isn't cold enough. Will I visit this place again? Yes, if location is the main reason for my decision on where to stay during my next KL trip.

Old but affordable. Location is good, rooms seem clean enough. No complaints about the price. Air conditioning at the breakfast area isn't working, but the spread is decent.

Location is right in city centre. Although it's old, the room is very clean. Good size. Convenient 7-11 nearby, shopping just a short walk away, links immediately to the skybridge which connects to klcc, twin tower and other places. Edited: I would like to add that my stay (two separate occasions) were marred by the housekeeping who insisted on only refreshing one set of towels when there were two of us staying! It happened for all the days that we were there and we had to call housekeeping every day to bring two sets of towels and other things! This was very very irritating.

Room service missed cleaning my room for the first 2 days despite going down on first day to tell them. Didn't leave bathroom floor mat most days. Pillows are either rock hard or super bouncy. Small fridge in the room is so so noisy. None of the room surface tops are cleaned. The WC in the bathroom makes a noise every 20 minutes or so when someone else flushes (I assume). Carpets in room are not vacuumed, carpets on the 18th floor smelled stale, from the lift entrance all the way through to my room.

Excellent value for money.

My family and I are staying here at the end of the year of a couple of nights while on our way to Perth WA. I hope the stay is enjoyable and the hotel and staff are up to the 4* standards, as we really love our hotels! Looking forward to our trip. See ye all then x.

Thanks for Novotel hotel stuff, they are friendly and helpful the hotel located opposite Pavilion shopping mall and very near to KLCC Actually you can walk to petronas twin tower through air-conditioned road.

Hope to stay in this hotel in May, coz I'd like to redeem my points with Accor promotion program.

Worst hotel never had in KL no air cond in the corridors, old smelly design. Room smell moisture. Safey box not even foxed on the wall (can properly carry it away…)

One of the first-rank hotels in Malaysia. Located very near to the Pavilion and KLCC.

This hotel is in KL City Centre, you can go walking to a lot of interesting places. Rooms are quite comfortable and the staff is always happy to help. The fitness room is also good with a lot of new cardio machines. The only handicap is the Wi-Fi connection, it's not enough at all to play music or films via streaming for people from others countries, the bandwidth is not good, but the connection is working well for e-mail checking and common Internet access.

1. Service is bad 2. Dirty room, Bed sheet never change 3. Bugs all over the place, as well in bed 4. Toilet are smell very bad 5. Staff response are slow (no cares) 6. Price not equal with service 7. Surprisingly, not as others Novotel standard.

“Great Hotel with Great location” The hotel is located in the city center, 5 min walk from aquarium and 10min walk from the twin buildings. The service level is absolutely great, we were treated as special guests. The breakfast is great, diverse and very tasty. Would stay there again if going to kl again.

Location of hotel is strategic, best for people who like shopping. Facility and services of hotel is good. One thing should be pay attention by management, the carpark is very narrow. Hard to turn up, the corner is very narrow. A lots of car hit the wall, eventhough Kancil. My suggestion is maybe management empty the place which located in front of corner.

P. J. Young must not have stayed in many hotels. We have stayed here many times and have found staff and amenities great. Can recommend to all. Centrally located to everything. Will be back.

The worst hotel I've been. While we don't expect spectacular service, we expected the standard service. 1) Lift during peak time (breakfast) was impossible. We waited for 20 min and everytime the doors opened, they were full. So we decided to take the service lift (with permission off course) and not surprising, our ride stopped after 4 floor and a couple visitor also used the service lift (guided by the hotel staff). 2) The breakfast was full to and we had to sit on the 1st floor restaurant but were appalled that they would not refill the buffet until we asked. 3) The bathroom was mouldy. 4) Worst of all, we were out for half the day and was back around 3:45pm and 4/5 rooms were not cleaned. We saw the cleaners outside so we thought we just asked for clean towels. Cleaners advised they no longer have towels and we have to wait until 6pm. 5) I forgot to mentioned, when we arrived yesterday, 2 of our rooms were not ready until 5pm. If you want to experience the less than standard service, this hotel is a real winner for that.

Nice hotel, attentive and well-trained staff. The room is clean. Sneaker is. For the trip in the Elevator needed a room key.
