Good hotel when u want a budget hotel. Really recommended.

Actually I did not visit this hotel. I was actually at the back lane called Loh-Si Kai or Lorong Tikus behind this hotel (ask for direction from the folks at Petaling Street). There is this coffee stall that serves fantastic Kopi C kosong, really good steamed kaya butter bread. And don't miss their 3/4 boiled eggs (you need to make this special request). Very friendly lady boss as well. For those who fancy Kopi O kosong, you can buy the yau-cha-kwei from the stall at the entrance of the back lane to dip into the steaming hot Kopi O kosong.

They wrote there is a bathtub on room description on agoda but there is none. The cheapest room and room above it only differ on having window or not. Stairs to access receptionist so it is not elderly and disabled friendly. Water dispenser in front of the receptionist but I prefer bottled mineral water after I saw their machine. Room is quite spacious but you definitely feel it is old building and old stuff. Btw there is only 1 power socket which is used for tv. Make sure to bring universal adapater and splitter.

Decent prices, okay rooms — not spacious but clean. On the busy road so gets loud in day time. Nice reception staff! Recommended!

The rooms are clean, is in the middle of the market (china town). For your money is a very good hotel. If there are a lot of things, it will be inconvenient to get either by taxi (there is no way) or on the subway — a long way. High stairs at the entrance. It's good for a budget holiday. But if you are looking for comfort and luxury, then of course it is not for you. There are a lot of cafes with kitchens of different countries at very good prices.

Very friendly staff and nice, clean and confortable rooms. You can find dormitories or private rooms for correct prices. Big space in the receptiob with sofas and computers. This hotel is located in petaling street in the middle of night market, very nice situation.

Hotel was good and so clean. The owner so kindly and gave a good service for us. At the morning, you can find some breakfast around the hotel. Mostly, there's a chinese food. But there's a halal food also. At night, there's a bazaar market in front of the hotel. So many things sell at the bazaar.

Expensive, not friendly with budget. No breakfast, bad serving, no drinking water, I don't have comfortable in here. Body wash usefulness.

If you’re traveling with luggage, make sure to check in before 3pm because the night market at Petaling will start to appear at 3pm-ish making your way to the hotel a nightmare.

Never again. Booked an economy room for 11 USD per night, thinking I scored a deal. At the time of check-in, I was asked to pay an extra 10 ringgit per night, or to find another hotel. Manager claimed it was a tourist tax, but there was no mention of this"extras" at the time of booking, and I've stayed in several hotels before this one, was never asked to pay such thing. Decided to pay the extra, since all I could think of was to shower and nap (should have walked away). The whole 2nd floor smelled horribly, including the room. My bed had bed bugs. Asked for a room change, but same deal. The Wi-Fi is unusable. The area where the hotel is located is very dirty and noisy. You'll be harassed by the street vendors each time. Doesn't feel safe. Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

It is in the middle of a dirty, smelly flea market. Taxi does not arrive, 7 minutes to go with suitcases on the market plus stairs high at the entrance. The room is OK for this money.

The location is good. It is accessible to central market, actually almost all the attractions in kuala lumpur. The only thing that dismayed us is the change of room rate without notice. But overall, it is a nice place.

All rooms have no window, but its not a problem, we are enjoied our saty, we payd only 12 pound per night 2 people really nice crew members working over there.

This place is in a great location set in the middle of China Town. We booked a deluxe double room and had a window overlooking the street markets where we could see the set up, packing up and atmosphere of the place. Cool experience. If you plan on staying in China Town in KL make sure to spend some here.

It is almost like hotel china town inn, but this one looks new compared to the latter. The room is standard, and the price cost more than the hotel china town inn. There are so many snack stalls near the hotel.

I love our stay here. Hotel is strategically located in Chinatown, it's easy to find restaurants and souvenirs to buy plus the rate is cheap and the receptionist's are all very accommodating. The guy even helped us arrange for our one day tour at a very cheap rate. Our deluxe room for two is big and could fit up to 4 pax and comes with toiletries. They also provide free hot and cold drinking water.

It was just the male front staff whom I thought was a bit rude, the other staffs were really professional, helpful, and friendly. Another problem I had was the faucet in my room, rang and vibrated often whenever I turned the hot water on. We must turned off the hot water first, then turned it back on again to stop it (I did not report it to the hotel staff actually). Besides all the problems, the hotel still is very nice and cheap, especially in the midst of high season vacation. The hotel also provided fee flow hot and cold water.

Very comfortable room. Extremely friendly staff. Convenient location.

Very clean. Near many interesting places and of course the market… A lot of touts, unfortunately (or luckily) we bought nothing, there was no real interesting goods, the journey continues, all good luck, the hotel is good.

Is a cheap hotel, the room is small, the noise effect is poor, is not a can let your body heart relaxed resort hotel, if purely as sleeps the place, also can accept, but the environment is somewhat complex, must pay attention to the personal and the financial security.

Great! just great fantastic budget hotel right in the centre of city… so convenient for all. Food. Sightseeing. Transport-stations… shopping. Rates are super friendly considering the services and facilities provided… nothing special and don't expect luxury. Cleanliness always maintain with daily housekeeping tidying your room. Rooms are with attached bath. Air conditioned except the cheapest of cheap Economy fan rooms. You can have rooms with full-windows if you want … just pay slightly more. Nothing to complain even if there are some shortcomings. My heart goes to the ever busy receptionists who have to handle some demanding and difficult guests… well you get these everywhere… LOL…

The air conditioning does not turn on, works at all power. The Internet is weak. The rooms are clean, tidy.

Really clean and tidy rooms but very noisy. Could hear guests in the room next to us talking and watching TV but no exterior noise can be heard. The a/c can't be turned down or off which makes the room a bit cold and dry.

Simple hotel only for simple traveler. Room is clean, staff is okay, but the hotel itself was located in the of busy walk market, its hell, at least for me. No parking space if you travel by car. Expect a blood sucking parking rate. Haha its KL right.

It was a very nice Hotel. However well located in the heart of Chinatown and 5 minutes from the bus terminal.

Very clean and convenient place but the only problem is that the central air condition cannot be adjusted and the rooms get very cold.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of the Chinese quarter and just a few minutes from the elevated station, then in KL Sentral, the crossroads of all means of transport arriving and departing from the city. Excellent value for money.

Great location in Chinatown but the hotel is pretty basic and you get tired of the people around the streets. Worth the price though.

The location is good, room is comfort, not cool enough, still using small box TV all is still acceptable but poor Wi-Fi really bad, maybe staying on 4th floor?

Nice place. Comfy beds, warm shower, but the central ac brings the smell of smoke in the room quite often. Rooms without window are a bit depressing. Free water is a plus.

The place is so so. Just good for sleeping, if your itinerary is to be out on the streets the whole day. The rooms are basic, No provision for bottled water, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste. You have to go down the 2nd Floor for the water dispenser. Centralizer aircon and no cable tv, no ref, no safe. The bathroom is quite okay and clean. Have provision for hot shower.

Cheap and simple for my one night stay in KL The bed was not stable & uniform.

Hotel is good. We booked single rooms but they gave double bed with clean washroom. However, we had to take adaptor with deposit of 10 RM since our mobile plugs did not fit.

Hotel Chinatown duex has decent bedding but they dont have popcorn resistance sheets and we woke up covered in corn residue.

It's an old hotel but the room is OK. I like the toilet especially the shower. The bed is also good. The thing which I don't like is the AC — aircon bec the coldness is not consistent, sometimes its hot. It's bec their AC is centralized in the bldg. Hope they can put up AC's in every room. And the channel on their television is also not good. They have only 5 channels I think. Hoping they can put cable channel next time. What I want in this place is that, it's near shopping areas & you can choose a variety of food.

Surrounded by hotels, restaurants, market, shops, Chinatown hawkers. Good Hotel for people from around the world. Pesar seni MRT, Pudu Raya bus station, Central Market, Masjid Jamek, all nearby. Reasonable price. One star less is for approach to Hotel is from busy footpath market.

Avoid this place like the plague. Booked a room through Expedia. It turned out that a room without air conditioning. So was the air conditioning have to pay 25 ringgit per night. Why pay if there are a lot of hotels for the same money with the best conditions. Nowhere in the booking does not say that a beach front room. Here cheat.

Very like this hotel. Staff also very honest and they recommend me a good tour with Han travel. Overall my holiday in Malaysia is good and never over our tight budget. Staff Raj, Jason — hope to see you again next time.

Stayed for 5nights. Excellent service, Friendly staffs, Worth the money Spent. Even though located in China Town night market but surprisingly its not noisy at all. I feel safe, and at home. Thank you. Will come again.

Well. Stay there for 2 days all I can say is the room is ok,, cheap hotel with night market and good for night sleep, easy to find food,. Also about 10 min to the city. My only problem is no parking, have to park outside with a parking area, air conditioning not cool enough and also the room a bit dark but that not a problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are small and dirty.
