Very poor service. They dont change our room towels and used cups even though they've clean the room. And not to mention the bad smell of the room and towel. Also we need to insert the keys multiple times before the door can open. This hotel doesnt even provide a room phone. I'll not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is the dirtiest and least star hotel in the city. The room is so dirty. The mattresses were all bedding bugs, and at night my wife was afraid to sleep and sit on the bed. Too many bugs appear to be soldiers, the room is too dirty price than this is better in the comfortable street full of this. It was this family that I lived in for the most unacceptable and unworthy consumption. There's a bug in the room bed. You change rooms all the same bugs appear. Because these bugs are so scary to breed. So for the hotel consumer customers are more unreasonable. Room is too dirty, service courtesy is poor, hotel equipment is also poor. Free and not the next time you stay at this hotel.

Nice view, at changkat street (lots of pubs) and alor street with lots of foods around. But the hotel is kind of old. Some renovation is recommended.

Come on guys, cheap and cheerful plus great location. Yeah, yeah we can always find negatives but if you're looking for a hotel in the middle of everything which has the basics, comfortable bed, fridge etc, … Then it's not a bad option. Sure there are better hotels but you'll pay a heap more for not much more a lot of the time. I come to. KL regularly and I do stay at other places a lot too but this is my third time here and I kinda enjoy the slightly decayed atmosphere the hotel has, reminds me of how a lot of Asian hotels used to be. Upper levels have some interesting views, especially at night. Have fun.

As described by others. The pool was important to me and is good. By mistake I went into the brothel' on the same floor. We all had a laugh when hand signals clarified the matter. Staff good, had a lot of laughs here. Friendly people. Large rooms, place showing its age but value considerimg location.

The Hotel has good location with reasonable price but there wasn't a Wi-Fi with standard room with old dirty blankets which isn't cleaned since the stone age. Don't get fooled by hotel and rooms photos on web. It's all old.

I don't quite understand the hate. It's a great hotel. The moment you see it along the street, you'd know you made the right choice. Room windows are big and dramatic. Staff are all nice and courteous. The room was big albeit showing age. PROTIP: There's 50rm deposit even when you booked through agoda and 10rm tax whatever. Bring adapters. There are no standard convenience outlets.

Counter check in/out are slow, old equipment, bedding and blood, located at Beer Street entrance, so pub concert with you to the morning six, but the hotel location is excellent, reception staff very good, low price.

Location is great, staff too friendly and services are better. Prices are high though but the location and access is worth it. There are other options of newly constructed hotels in the same price range so better visit the rooms first coz this hotel is a little old construction.

The hotel is old. There are bedbugs. I've experienced it for myself. In general not impressed and disappointed. A weak threesome.

No free carpark for hotel guests, room furnishing has seen better day. As you walk in to the foyer, you will be greeted by the well decorated non functional escalator which leads to the lobby. At the lobby, you will need to wait for at least 30mins before being entertained. Location is good but the hotel has seen better days and definitely in need of refurbishment and better front office management.

If you want a place which is shabby and will give you luxurious suit then avoid this place. Otherwise this a satisfactory hotel for budget customers. Tariff is good. But make sure you check in to deluxe or better rooms. Firstly the people on the reception are good. They are friendly. Then coming to rooms. The rooms are not well managed. There are two kind of floors. Floors for smokers and non smokers. The carpets on the rooms are not vacuumed. The washroom is very small. The tub is not maintained well. The taps are not always functioning. But the service is good. If you inform the reception they will fix everything they can.

You can find a better hotel for the same money. And the room was bad. The air conditioning worked ate spruce. There's no hot water. I don't recommend it.

Very vibrant place. All around so many attractions for visitors. So far service is good and quality of rooms are clean.

The Hotel Soleil is a 3 star hotel. It is situated at Bukit Bintang in Kualalampur. Competatively it is the cheapest hotel in this area as a 3 star hotel. This area looks beautiful. Many Chinese and Bangalee live this area. There are many chinese and bangalee hotel and restuarant are situated here.

The room is too diterioreted, bad, water leak everywhere in the rest room. The carpet was not changed for new guest.

If the room is even less stretched by three stars, then the standard is the horror of cockroaches in the room. It's just a horror bed which has to be white some kind of joll, the staff on a polite breakfast like breakfast to a normal position but cockroaches spoiled all the good opinion.

They don't care about there customer's comfort. Bathroom fittings were so bad. Water didn't drained easily. Door lock was not work properly.

Can't recommend this place. Location is the only thing it has going for it: bed was too hard, bathroom had fungus on the shower curtain, and overall it looks and feels very run down (who still uses CRT tv's? ). Breakfast was a shocker, which I tried only once (went out for breakfast the remaining 3 days). Also, be prepared to go up/down the equivalent of 1 story of steps every time you go in/out the hotel as neither of the escalators work (they had them nicely decorated with carpet and ornaments, indicating they're not planning on fixing them anytime soon). Only good for those who want to be as close to the pubs as possible and don't care too much about cleanliness/comfort, everybody else stay away from this place: there are much better alternatives nearby for a similar price if not cheaper.

One of the worst hotel I have ever visited. Untrained & Inexperience staff, bad maintenance. Bad smell in the whole hotel. Breakfast is horrible & no variety. Inexperienced and bad behaved stuffs. Not at all cooperative. I strongly do not recommend this Hotel.

Good location for a decent price. The room itself is pretty rundown: bedding didn't fit the bed, there was mould on the shower curtain… and the shower ran out of hot water in the morning!

Terrible hotel ever, theres a lot of baby cockroaches running around in the old stinky bathroom. Expensive yet poor service, receptionist doesn't respond to our calls.

No cable TV or house phone, was told that the hotel is undergoing renovation. However the prices should have been compromised to compensate. Can't get a re-fill of water bottle at FnB, I was bluntly turned down even after saying it's water that I needed. Should be mindful of granular hospitality. Front office staff is courteous, especially the ones at the baggage counter who went out of the way to get a photocopy of a receipt. Yet this does not compensate for the overall sentiments.

Staff are amazing, polite and doing their very best to please, but the owner? is not backing them up. Moving stairs stopped to cut power bill. Room 1806 flooded every day, great crack in bath. Cracked tiles in wall with an amazing bad silicone job to fix. No bath towels, sorry sir they get wet. Breakfast very basic, extra 5 Ringet to get eggs cooked different than hard boiled. Toaster taken away for function upstairs. Pepper and salt non existent had to wait many minutes for them to find. I was booked 23/7 to 26/7 and will not be going back. The main breakfast consisted of pansit and tinned sausage, I wondered what the three chefs were doing other than trying to please us westerners.

It is one of the older hotels in KL. So it had the nostalgia feeling some people crave. It's also a pretty inexpensive place to stay. Is very close to some extremely popular eating & shopping places in town. And the view is AMAZING.

First, it was super dirty linens. I called reception twice for every 30 minutes but nobody come. I waited an hour then I went to reception by my self then finally house keeper came my room. Surprisingly, they asked me " How did you notice? Every customer doesn't notice. " Like this. So you have to sleep in a super dirty bed if you don't check it. And when I was breaking in a lobby, a security ask me twice, like " Are you stay here? " " Go back to your room if you're sleepy. " It's sounds like he is suspecting me even though I am a customer. Because there is no internet in my room I had no choice but in a lobby! Also, after I checked out, I was in a lobby to call taxi, then same security asked me again. " You already check out so please go down, not be in here. " Actually I've never heard of that customer has to leave hotel immediately after check out. I had to standing long time to waiting for taxi. I've never come again. There is not value to pay money for this hotel.

Shabby hotel, dirty, horrible smell in the hallways and room, dodgy bed linen full of tasks, reception staff not at all amiable! For the price I thought to find better than a guesthouse it was not at all the case quite the contrary!

(EN) Worst hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Service is very bad and it is not clean + old building do not go there. Some new hotel just open near by for the same price range. I do not recommend!

Unskilled staff arrived with booking and at reception they cancelled by mistake the reservation to reinsert us by risking the double payment. I hope but it is to be ascertained that booking solves the issue. Good breakfast for a day at most then stove a lot.

A good star Hotel at economy Price. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur @ Bukit Bintang.

The convenient roads and public transport provide good accessibility making it suitable for both business and pleasure trips. Many world famous tourist attractions are in the surrounding area. The hotel is also around 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The complex has 431 rooms, offering accommodation which is both comfortable and affordable. The hotel is air-conditioned and has conference, dining and parking facilities. Further facilities include a restaurant, room and laundry services and an outdoor swimming pool and relax on the sun terrace.

Hotel situated in a good location close to places of interest. Staff friendly and helpful. We requested a non smoking room, but already the hallway reeked of smoke. Carpet a bit dirty and bed a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel is clean but very run down. The photos on the site must be very old. Very noisy area even from the upper floors. Very basic, no hand towels and bath towels very well used. Walls between rooms very thin. Staff were lovely. Breakfast not worth having.

It not bad when you think about the money you are paying. Super slow check in! 10-15 mins per person. Dont know why they take so long. At Heart of the nightlife in town.

Check in very slow. Room not provided with towel. I went to front desk to ask for towel. After 15 minutes waiting in line they just help guest after me in line. Now 5 hours later after two request, still no towels delivered. Rooms smells bad. Bathroom has open concrete. Never again!

I got a family suit, 3 bedrooms. Good room facility, like washing machine, dryer, fridge, kitchen but no Wi-Fi in room.

The hotel is right in the center of Bukit Bintang. The management was kind enough to let us check in early. It is an old hotel and needs renovation.

This wonderful place is! Hotel all around, very easy to find good food, not enough, room sound insulation is not good, middle of the night can hear next door room's Toilet, pump water.

Its nice and clean. But Wi-Fi not in the room thats dissapointing others ok. Mostly liked the stay.

The hotel and facilities are old. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. So noisy on lower floors. I was on 8th floor. Perfect location. Near bars and clubs, KLCC, Menar, Times Sq, Pavilion, monorail,. Clean bedsheets. Tea maker works. They clean the rooms everyday unless you don't want it.

Location good, night market, barbecue on the side, a scene which has a calm and good place. Facilities slightly old, tourism accommodation is worth.
