Went for Ramadhan Buffer Dinner last week. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal for sungkey. Highly recommend!

Make an advertise about looking for a new receptionist for this hotel, they way they work were not professional. Need more improvement. Also need more cleaning service worker. They were too slow on working thats make we have to wait for too long for our room to get ready.

It is really a good place to chill, have a good time and mesmerizing the hustle bustle of Kuching City.

Very bad hotel to stay in. TV channel only show chinese channel. Why is it so? Lodge complaint to front office to open up other channels but no action taken! Toiletries just empty boxes! Box with no tooth brush! Bathroom slippery.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Next to a shopping mall with easy access. Breakfast spread is OK, food quality if good. They have club rooms with lounge benefits. Friendly staffs and good service.

Rooms are ok, facing the river and scenic view of the government building. I have an only complaint of the food. I ordered vegetarian fried rice, expecting scrumptious shrimps. Saw 3 on the plate which whet my appetite. Upon opening the plastic cover, I found out them to be fake (processed shrimp cake? ). Why not put up the real fresh ones? I thought Sarawak is rich with fresh seafood. Anyway, the only compensation I had was by having laksa sarawak at the airport, this time, with a fresh big fat prawn.

Bad hotel. My complain and claimed on my medical fee due to bed bug bites was being ignored despite email with photos and invoice given.

Very disappointed with their service. The front counter staff did not even apologise. We checked in at 11:30am & was told the hotel will call us when our room is ready. They did not call us till 2:30pm we went to the reception to ask and was only told that our room is still not ready. He didn’t explain why the other guests that arrive later are able to check in earlier than us. We waited till 3:05pm to get into our room! When we are finally in our room, the amenities were only prepared for 2 person instead of three! Its a very bad check in experience for us! I don’t think I will be back to this hotel again. And there was no evaluation form in the room.

Very slow service. Pullman hotel, and riverside majestic is better then this hotel. Check in supposed to be 3pm. But 3.30pm… why the sistem and the service very slow…

The service was exceptional from friendly and courteous staff. Internet was reliable. We didn't use the pool although it looks clean and surrounding areas were well kept. Location was a plus for shopping, entertainment and food!

Good hotel with warm hospitality. Cnvenient access to waterfront and many shops and hawker centers. Direct access to a mall. The view of Sarawak River and Astana is awesome!

The hotel is situated next to a shopping centre. There are many road stalls on the evening and a stroll along the river is very pleasant.

Well, I didn't stay there but I have been there twice for certain occasion and the last I went was for the 'Sarawak, Indigenous Journey' and I might say that the hall was awesome. We went to the Cafe while waiting for the show to started and I had some light food and it was okay. I might say that the girl who attended us was friendly and beautiful with her great smile. But honestly there are two staff were playing around while clearing and setting up the table which is not so professional at all. Sorry guys but you are distracting the guests with your laughter and chasing each other like you're Bollywood actors. I hope the supervisor or manager would be around and supervise the staffs so that we, the customer don't get annoyed while having dinner at the cafe. Overall, I like my soup, garlic bread and nice hot coffee. Thanks to the girl with a tattoo on her throat, she makes my dinner pleasant and feel welcome by her beautiful smile. There are few staffs too greeted us with a nice smile.

Comfortable with mall beside this hotel. Room clean and furniture inside is a new one not like some 5 star hotel that still using old furniture. Room service and mcd deliverly is also available. Main atraction place nearby within walking distance. Nice view and lovely breakfast with a friendly staff. Ok bye.

The hotel is connected to a vibrant shopping centre and located right in the centre of Kuching old city areas. For a room facing the river, the view was so beautiful with the majestic Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building as the main atraction. Must stay hotel.

Situated right at the iconic Kuching waterfront, many historical landmarks are within reasonable walking distance. Add to that this hotel is conveniently attached to one of Kuching city's most famous shopping malls.

Room is big, tastefully furnished and clean. There's an infinity pool overlooking the Parliament House, and it is very nice to swim and relax on the lounge chair.

Reservation dept is fully satisfied my need of room requested upon checked-in. Room was clean and decent. Friendliness of all staffs. Great location which easy to find good foods and other location.

Stayed 5 nights at your hotel last week. The room wallpaper starting to peeling off, dust in between the wall and ceiling and the housekeeper entering the carpeted area with his shoes and not replace the stained bedsheets. And even after my fourth stay, the awful smell coming from the bathroom still not resolved and ants starting to appear. Overall, still a pleasant stay, friendly hotel personnels, and wide range of breakfast spread.

I've attended a number of functions (meetings and dinners) at The Waterfront Hotel. A pleasant surprise! Great location, a stone's throw: walking distance to lots of places of interest. The food at the hotel is great too!

Strategic location, facing the Kuching waterfront, adjacent to shopping mall, in the center of Kuching tourists attractions. Restaurants, food court, souvenirs shops just near by. Walking distance to the Sarawak Museum, General Post Office and Tourists information office at the Old Court House. Good food, clean and comfortable rooms, conducive environment with friendly staff and good service and price is affordable. Love the swimming pool.

Located near the beautiful Sarawak River bank and nested in the middle of the old part of Kuching city which is rich in colorful history and heritage. Built-in with convenients of meeting and seminar rooms and facilities. This hotel is linking to shopping centre and is super convenient. No problem to recommend.

This hotel is lovely. The staffs are friendly, the room that I stayed in is clean and large. First thing I would usually do once after checking in to the room is to check the toilet. The toilet here is clean (mainly because this hotel is just recently opened), towels are neatly placed beside the sink, shower gels/body products are also nicely presented. I don't see any reason why one won't recommend this hotel.

New Hotel with nice rooms snc a very gooc service! Price and quality are good for Kuching and the breakfast with egg and noodle soup station is also very good! just 1 minute from The Waterfront anf close to all important roads and shops! Will stay here again…

Located in city centre with cheap price. Services are good but need renovation and refurbish as the hotel is pretty old and not that well maintained.

Great location close to local spots for shopping and food delights. Value too compared to others inc international chains. Ask for room facing river. Improvements can be made to corridor sound proofing and doors otherwise.

Beautiful room but lousy old bath with faulty toilet flush. Bathroom was flooded over a nite from leaking.

The hotel is good, in terms of its room size, location and general factilities. However the hotel scores very badly, in terms of the control of noises form neighboring rooms, strong sewage smell in the toilet, strong third-hand smoke smell remaining in rooms and lift lobbies, strong stinky smell of bed sheets, matress, and pillows. I think this is due to ineffective quality control of room services. The swimming pool is rather small and the water inside the pool gets very cold in rainy days as it sheltered and doesn't get any sunshine. I would not return to this hotel if given another chance to return to Kuching.

My family & I was rather disappointed because so much of publicity or hearsay claiming the latest hotel in the city, beautiful & very nice indeed. Firstly, the room was not thoroughly cleaned. It has food droppings, a piece of paper clip, hairs, carpets fur/fiber & ants (in bathroom too). I was told by the front office staff (when I asked the status) that The Waterfront Hotel is a 5 stars boutique hotel. Unfortunately, in reality it is not at par as it seemed to be. Secondly, the bell boys were inefficient; seeing customers heading to the hotel but they did not give much assistance but were so engrossed chatting away & in their own world! It was the same scenario upon check-in & check-out. Finally, during breakfast … some food were not top up unless being told; workers or whoever in-charged do not seemed to care or bother so much doing their rounds & it took a long time for the noodle junction to serve because the poor cook was doing a one man show; attending the eggs corner too. Thus, whatever shortcomings the management of the hotel faced. Necessary solutions be it short term or long term should be encountered the soonest & what more to say it is holidays season … all the more management should be alert & take note of the high occupancy to provide the BEST service & satisfaction to their customers. My advice … better pull your socks before the image of the hotel goes down to the drain. Tq.

Very nice, simple and clean place to crash. Comfortable Bed, Shower and Toilet! Best to get the bundle that comes immediately after an AirAsia ticket purhcase as that also includes TV, Air Conditioning, Internet Connection and Breakfast for 2 bundled in the package! Location is smack on in the middle of the city and food, pubs and riverside is just withing short walking distance!

Poor upkeep… mould in sink, Wi-Fi slow, TV snowy reception, sheets not up to hotel spotless white… for rm108 could get better hotel.

For $NZ30 for 2 people, including breakfast, internet you can't fault this place as value for money. Yes, the rooms are compact, but they are clean and tidy. Basic facilities, but honestly, this is value for money for what you pay for and what you get.
