4 out of 5. Nothing much I can review as im here just to serve my 2 weeks quarantine. Cant really going anywhere around. But the downs are aircond should comes with remote control which my room dont have any. Cleaner staff never put back plastic to my rubbish bin after collecting rubbish. The refrigerator inside the room is not cold. Ups, Wi-Fi is fast and strong. Quiet and spacious room.

We stayed at the new Astana Wings and took the Astana Suite with connecting twin deluxe room. The rooms are spacious and clean. The view is breathtaking.

The hotel is in 2 buildings, the old one and the Astana one. Never book the old building, it's to old and not fun at all. The Astana building is new and has better rooms and view. However you still need to go to the old building to have breakfast. Also the nee one has the sky lounge. Not the best hotel experience, but good value for money.

This hotel looks quite old from the outside but inside there, it is quite well maintained and the view from our room was stunning. The breakfast was good with many choices. It is the best value for money in this area. Our colleagues went to the Hilton for three times the price. The breakfast was similar and the rooms really seamed old and falling appart.

Basically the room although old, but overall comfort is good, just Wi-Fi will automatically disconnect, use a bit of trouble. The laundry in PS room service is good and clean.

New wing is beautiful. Gym was closed and swimming pool area could do with an update. Hard to find breakfast area from new wing, hardly any signs. Never seen such an amazing breakfast buffet! Overall a wonderfull hotel!

Good location, service could be better. We requested for an extra bed the night before, but said bed wasn't delivered till 6pm the next day, after at least five (5) phone calls to the front desk/housekeeping. No complaints otherwise.

Beautiful river view from my room. The room is a bit old but comes with large bed. Breakfast are okay. Tasty food with variety choice.

The room is spacious but the furniture are old and the room is not very clean. The hotel is just opposite of the famous cat statue and is right in front of Kuching Waterfront. There is also a shopping mall beside the hotel, although no connecting door. Parking lot is available in the shopping mall and the hotel will scan the parking ticket for free parking.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. Staff are friendly, helpful and exceptional. Our room, the apartment suite, is great and executive lounge which we are entitled to access FOC is just fantastic. Prices, I understand is a bit slightly on the high side, but well worth every cent. Buffet breakfast… ahhhhh… so so for my standard. Still have to eat coz it is part of the package of staying in a suite.

Great location by river. 17th executive lounge was nice for cocktails and snack from 5 to 7 pm. Rooms can use update and good cleaning. New hotel wing looks nice, did not stay there. Windows facing river were dirty and schedule to wash windows as stated with notice did not happen! Staff were helpful.

I personally love the river view rooms. The view is gorgeous, especially in the evening. And also, the fully functional fitness center. And, the hotel is right in the middle of the city! Next to it is a shopping mall. And just crossing the road, there's the famous Kuching Waterfront where you can stroll along the Sarawak River.

Being searching on Astana Wing but not found it on the map. So I review this on the Riverside Majestic Hotel map. Spending a night to Astana Wing — Riverside Majestic Hotel (new soft opening since a week ago, said by the receptionist). So I may lucky to test the new wing building with all new room and stuff. Very spacious, relaxing and comfort room. Nice view if you choose to view the river or water front. Unfortunately I got only city view room. Very clean of room (of course it's new). But cleaning workers need to pay attention on the detail cleans (such as the wardrobe's hanger… upper side of the hanger pipe have a lot of dust causing 1 of my cloth have the dust on it). I am sure it will be better when they are Grand Opening. Astana Wing 5th floor connecting to Riverside Majestic Hotel 6th floor. Overall Very Please and Satisfied of this hotel room and services. Definitely will come back to stay. Keep the good job.

I will definitely come back to this hotel whenever I visit Kuching again. The room was very spacious and super comfy, it was a very relaxing night spent. I love the comfy bed and various types of pillows, the beautiful river view scenery, and the instrumental music on. It was really a relaxing moment for me just to be in the room and rest after a hectic and busy week. Definitely, a night that is worth spending. however, the bathroom was quite dirty and old. I wished that the management would do something to improve the bathroom condition. The bathroom door were rather old and the bathroom door handle was quite uncomfortable for me to hold it and it took me several attempts to close the bathroom door tight. The bathtub was quite dirty maybe due to mold and some of the carpets have molds/stains too. Please consider to change the carpets. Nevertheless, it was still a wonderful and relaxing experience and riverside majestic hotel is still my number 1 choice when I visit Kuching again.

Good location. Fronting River Sarawak. Near China Town, Water Front and Bazaar in India/Attap Streets. Hotek Staff are friendly and professional. Duty Managers are helpful and responsiveness. Good breakfast in hotel cafe. Convenience and enjoyable to your stay. Very happy end value for money.

I spent 3 nights and 4 days in the Riverside Majestic Hotel. It has probably the best location in Sarawak with a nice view to the legislative Assembly and the Sarawak river. We had a room in the 17th floor with a free access to the club lounge. There was a huge selection of food on breakfast. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Thank you very much.

It's a really nice hotel with proper facilities and the best part is it's right in the middle of the Kuching city. It's the closest to everything. The view is spectacular. The service is good. Very friendly and the rooms are spacy luxurious. More over u get a cost feeling in the rooms. The interior design is pretty good. The price is really cheap if u book early. But the breakfast buffet is expensive I would suggest to try some local cuisine nearby for way cheaper price. Overall it's a good place I would definitely come to this place again.

Older design hotel. Neat and tidy but showing its age. A refurbishment will be most helpful. Location wise is centrally located. Staff helpful and friendly.

The hotel is good, looks old but keep cozy. The river view is Excellent. One suggestion is to increase frequency of window clean-up.

Excellent location, reasonable rates but the mall attached is rather dormant if not for Parkson there.

The facilities and breakfast meal are great. Its just the air-condition system were too loud. Some people might find it hard to sleep in that condition.

5-star Hotel that needs a renovation. About to open a new building that looks much more current. The breakfast plentiful and varied.

Pros: Nice hotel. Very centrally located in Kuching. Hotel room was quite clean. Coffee and tea making facilities were provided FOC in hotel room, and were replenished daily. An ironing board (with steam iron) was also provided. Aircon was fully functioning, and there was strong water pressure in the bathroom. Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel was built adjacent to a department store with supermarket. Very convenient. Cons: Pillows were too soft. Bathroom cleanliness can be improved.

Unbelievable rate with huge room and ideal location where everything is within walking distance. Although the hotel is a bit old but the maintenance have been done properly. A good value for money and definitely will come back to this hotel again!

The location. This hotel is near the waterfront where we can have great view and food stalls. Near the jetty to across the river where we can find the famous sarawak layer cakes also have food court. Near souvenir and gift shops. Near mcDonalds restaurant. Near commercial banks where you can draw your money to buy all I mentioned. Haha…

So welcoming of their frontliner, the room is so clean and nice view from level 12. Totaly very satisfied to stay at thia hotel.

Good place to stay. Located in the heart of d city… variety choice of food esp for breakfast… only dissapointed with the customer service not responsive to extra pillow requested. Other than that it was a pleasure stay.

Went there for a buffet dinner. The food served are not so satisfying in terms of the price. Not worth the value. Facilities wise, I give it a 6/10. Should provide napkins (cloth-type) and not paper napkins. However, the service are good. Most important thing when you dine-in in a restaurant is that the working people give you a smile instead a smack in your face. Overall, it's a good place to dine-in if the food improve its quality.

This hotel is simply amazing. You will not regret even one cent spent to stay in this hotel. The food served are scrumptious and the service is excellent as well. The facilities available here are adequate and superb too.
