Very good breakfast and spacious room and bathroom. Rather a small and Low Def TV for such a smart place. A net curtain for rooms facing the courtyard would prevent potential traumas. Good value overall.

Very proper hotel! Interior is beautiful and the people working at the desk are kind. The rooms are small but perfect for a quick overnight. The private parking is definitely a plus point!

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Inside courtyard. The rooms have bathtubs, hairdryers, free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was delicious.

EUROPA ROYALE KAUNAS is located very centrally between the bus station, the long city boulevard of Lithuania's second city and the huge "Akropolis" shopping mall. In each direction you walk about 5 minutes. The premises, rooms are state of the art (renovated factory building). There is conference facilities. Breakfast is really good — and a lot. Negative is the fact that the hotel advertises a "sauna" and "wellness" area online which — as such — is NOT available for guests according to usual hospitality standards. The sauna, jakuzzi can only be rented by groups of maximum 10 people for the mind blowing rate of 50 EURO/hour. This fact makes the four star hotel de facto a good three star house and should be recognised in the framework of the next hotel rating.

If we go once back to Kaunas, If… We definitely stay in different hotel. Breakfast was very poor…

Close to the bus station and Laisves but hotel a little too big and cold.

Simply perfect place to stay in Kaunas, location is also really good. Akropolis shopping centre is only a few meters from the hotel, bus station is close amd train station is also. From the hotel to the train station we paid 3 EUR for the taxi. Food is great, staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

Preface must be, because it is important: We arrived in the morning from Tallinn via Riga to Kaunas. 670 kilometres. The navigation system says 10 ½ hours. With dog and eat it for 12 hours. With a little bit of Tallinn and Riga arrive fast 14 to 16 hours. We arrived at 22:30 in Kaunas. Kaunas is a dark city. Lanterns, it has enough as everywhere in Europe, but under the large trees, and throw so little light on the streets. First, we are at the Hotel passed, the facade of a typical townhouse, not on the first glance, pointed to a Hotel. We saw it not. In the 2nd attempt, parked the car, we are in front of it. Where usually the door is a large glass front. The Entrance. By now it was 23:00. Inside, a very elegant Hotel – an Atrium. Although the interior is a kind of "beer garden". Prior to that, in a corresponding removal of the completed Parking lot. The EUROPA ROYALE is very modern and comfortable, with very pleasant staff and very nice rooms, we had one facing the courtyard. In the Morning, the HOTEL stands favourably. It could also be in Hamburg (because of the Brick facade). Like the IMAGE on the Internet is as friendly as it looks. Easily even to these primitive times a good, high-quality food to get. The Breakfast corresponds to the Nordic standard. Our dog, a Husky, was Welcome. Thank you. Like we would have more days remained.

Not unfavourable location 15 min to the old town. Rooms good; clean; Wi-Fi's extra in the room; in economy class, no shower but sink; Beds are not made; Towels changed less than people in the room; Breakfast buffet even better in 3-star (no honey; a jam, etc. ) seen. So service and claim gape a little; overall good.
