The hotel has a beatiful view of Old Riga and easy walking distance to the old city. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel staff was friendly.

Typical American style hotel. Comfortable, buffet meals, so good choice, however I got the impression that members of tour groups are in a sense lesser mortals when it came to service in the restaurant. Would like to go again as an independent traveler.

Not a true Radisson. Very sub standard rooms. Not recommended at the price they charge

It's nice and friendly staff. Good place to stay and relax clean rooms fresh food the landscape is wonderful, silent, calm just enjoying.

Ooooold fashion style rooms. Musty smell, damaged wall paper… but bedding is awesome Hotel well located. Personnel is nice Breakfast is quite simple but offers a fair choice. If u elect to stay here try & ask front dest for a refurbish room if available.

Arrived late in the afternoon. Was offered an upgrade to a larger Business room overlooking the river and old city. Good value at 20 euro per day. The room itself was a little dated but well furnished and spacious. Door seals need to be added or replaced in all the rooms around mine as slightest breeze in the hallway causes the doors to rattle it's very annoying. Staff are courteous. The problem with this hotel is it's location. It is on the wrong side of the river and there is nothing around it. Therefore a taxi or public transport or long walk is required every time you want to leave the hotel.

I'm xz in the room on the arrival of the heat. I've been cooling for two hours. Cons of the spread are missing from the bed. For some reason, the closet in the bathroom is inconvenient. But at least the condoms don't blow on the bed. Floors below 4 hike sucks.

Good hotel next to the Daugava river. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Our room was very big and service was very good. The only bad thing was that our rooms lock was broken and we had to call a fixer two times. Overall this hotel is good and I would recommend it!

Great hotel! The food is 5 stars. Walking distance to the city center. We will stay here next time too. Been visiting Rix twice now and recommend staying away from the hotels in the city center. Id rather walk for 10 min and have a good nights sleep. Nice swimming pool and spa section. Even an amazing antique store in the hotel! Good for family trips. Very kind staff! Absolutely recommend this place. Thanks!

Staying at this hotel a second time, like everything. To the center 5 minutes. Walking across the bridge. There is parking, great Wi-Fi, good breakfasts, pool, gym. The rooms are small but comfortable, there is everything, fridge, kettle, all for shower.

We liked everything, if we are in Riga again, we will stay at this hotel.

I would expect much more from hotel possessing Radisson Blu name and for 160€/night. Common space is great and as use to be in such hotel but room (at least mine but corridors too) was outdated, poor and calls for re make. Sink as a part of the room instead of bathroom seems strange to me. Staff was nice and polite and all services was on high level. Panorama from the window is outstanding.

A true dump. Saggy and tired. Stay somewhere else, anywhere else. The carpets are worn out the door frames are busted, the desks are scratched beyond repair and too large for the room. Basically nothing works, they know it and do not care.

I was expecting better. After being straight 34 hours awake, really exhausted when arriving to the hotel. I thought that the rooms were ready, but no. After being said that it'll take a moment to clean them, we wait 2 hours just to get in. The room had nice views, but the room was outdated on the inside. First thing to expolore about the room was that our sink didn't work. My towel had some red ink-like marks. Also the rooms weren't much sound proof, as you can hear people speak in the nextdoors or on the aisle. The air condition is nice addition, even though it took a good time to cool the room a little. One power point broke my friend's charger. The serving is well managed and foods are delicious.

Redison will be yes. Very mobile place went there not long but remembered for a long time. I will still visit such places!

Not a 4 star hotel, again a Radisson which not fits to the standards. Room 629 has nice view, bed is ok, but everything old and used, bathroom looks more like a russian 1 star budget hotel 30 years old.

Great location, nice view from the room, good breakfast buffet. A little tired repair. Unfortunately the entrance to the sauna only from the locker room (male or female), so warm up with the second half will not work, not always have towels for visiting the pool/sauna, a small pool-not fully swim, a great gym.

Nice hotel with fabulous old city view. 4* just because the breakfast buffet is very variable but seems like hasn't been changed for very long time. Good but tiny and crowded gym.

Staff is very helpful but the hotel itself stopped around 90s. Everything is clean, bed is comfortable but interior finish is time worn.

Good spacious room. We were upgraded with Club Carlson membership. Easy checkin and checkout. Property is getting old. Can be upgraded. Breakfast was good.

Everything is good-clean, nice, comfortable, with attention to customers. Parking and view of Riga is a plus.
But it could be better. Not enough streaks-slippers, robes, a little security. Kitchen separate five.

Very good location. The hotel is old, left at night without electricity, at first sparked, then passed out. The buffet is great.

The hotel is quite large, it bears the name Daugava by the river that passes by its side. It is located near the center across the river, you just have to cross the stone Bridge. The hotel has plenty of time and the furniture is quite outdated but it is arranged. The room that I touched was quite small, like the bathroom, quite cozy, the bed spacious and comfortable, well acclimated, has a fridge, TV and hairdryer and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Pretty economical. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location quite close to the airport and walking distance to the old city. Rooms getting old but clean. Pay though the little extra to get a view of the river and city. Great fitness center with all you can require from a gym and nice pool. Nice restaurant with decent menu and good food. Can recommend!

Convenient location. Walk to a cent for 15 minutes. It's a nice atmosphere. Spacious rooms. It's beautiful underwear. Delicious breakfast.

It was not bad but also noting, let's say spectacular. For me it's strong 4. Rooms and bathrooms clean. Good and reach in many ingredients breakfasts.

Nice hotel, nice bed. A little older than the other Radisson Blu in Riga, this hotel is still nice and was very affordable. It is across the bridge. I would stay here again.

Great hotel about a mile from the old town too so 15 minutes walk across the bridge. The hotel looks shoddy from the outside, reception and the lobby area has had a nice revamp. The place has a really good gym area with swimming pool too if you are staying at the hotel is free to use. Now to the room not the most upto date at all definitely needs work, however it's functional and fit for purpose. You get a minobar and snacks to purchase too. Food selection in the hotel is minimal but again fits the bill. Eating area and bar very nice and service is great too all around the hotel. One draw no ironing board in the rooms bit it came quick when requested.

In addition, they took 140 euros for the view. And in the end there was a view from a sweaty window. The rest you will see in the photo. It was very noisy. I also thought that hotels of this class give a bottle of water to the inhabited. There's a bottle of one on the table. 5 l. And at the price it is 4. It's worth 5 degrees. I'm surprised there's no slipper robe.

As other reviewers have put it, the rooms are indeed quite dated, as is the rest of the building, which doesn't help in getting a 4-star feeling/experience. The reservation department screwed up my reservation, making me pay for the 1st night, even though all nights had been paid for already. Fortunately this was sorted the next morning and I got a refund for that night. Staff was indeed friendly, so kudos to them. One really negative thing I remember was the water coming out of the taps and shower, which was brown some times (maybe the pipes are really old).

Wonderful hotel to stay when in Riga. Comfortable and spacy rooms, good service, friendly and helpful at reception, close to the city centre, beautiful view. You'll certainly enjoy breakfasts.

A good European hotel, the radisson blue line is always on top, both in service and on everything else. The rooms are clean, spacious, great sauna, nice pool, there is a gym. All the staff are polite and friendly. They speak Russian, English and Latvian.

It's a beautiful hotel. The price includes a visit to the pool and sauna. Breakfast was extra paid for, but it was worth it! A real feast. And a huge plus that's very close to the center.

The rooms are incredibly dated. It does not really give me a BLU experience, but the manager said they would do a big remodel next year. Even though the staff is nice, I feel like I get a lot more for my money in one of the other rezidor apartments or rooms on the town side of the bridge.

Needs renovation. Awful sound insulation to the corridor and between the rooms. The outside window is almost impossible to close when opened. Though I enjoyed large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was also great.

I stayed there two times last week. Both times the stay was great. Both rooms had a great view overlooking the river, was clean and the temperature was good. You can see that the building itself is quite old but it doesn't really show in the decoration. It has a free shuttle service to bring you to the other side of the bridge the city center (you could walk the distance). But taxi service in Riga isn't that expensive and I like to be more flexible. All staff encountered in the hotel during my stay were friendly and helpful. To bad you have to pay for parking though like almost everywhere in the center as far as I could see.

It is located a mile from the historical center of Riga. The rooms are clean. Bathroom is small. It has a climate-control, LCD TV, kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, Internet. Hotel visitors are provided with a taxi free of charge to and from the historical Center (ask for. ). The pool, the room and the gym are free.

Location is brilliant, with a nice view on the old City. Breakfast is enjoyable, they also had some local food that was fun. Rooms are old but clean and quiet big. Bed is very comfortable.

The room is spacious, with living room separate from the sleeping area, good for comfortable stay. Plenty of choices for breakfast and friendly service. Recommended.

Good location and great breakfast. Sleeping bed and pillows very comfortable, but there is no sound isolation between corridor and the room.

From the room you get a nice view of the city. If you like getting up with a sunrise, don't close the blinds, it's beautiful. The buffet is pretty generous. You can go either sugar or salt. Nice staff, and overall the food is good.

The hotel is at the moment under renovation in the lobby area. But it didn't create so big inconvenience. The customer service at the Front Desk wasn't that good. No smile, no greetings, arguments about hotel policies, stubborness and Front Desk itself wasn't having any brand signs or decorations of RadissonBlu. It wouldn't be that difficult to put tables and especially 2 chairs for those who were waiting the served. Something is wrong with the staff or is is Latvian hospitality? Breakfast room cozy and breakfast was nicely set up. Still the dishes such as plates and cups were having water in it after previous dishwasher cleaning. I had to take several plates out of pile after finding dry one. So some quality issues… Location along Daugava river was nice, rooms were clean and worked very well for the purpose. Shower function was quite interesting. Never saw anywhere else in the world. :) ** + for the hotel. Hopefully the Front Desk staff will be trained properly or sacked.

The hotel has a great view of the city. My room had a great view of the parking lot. Breakfast was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even had some local fare at the breakfast. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. The large desk against the window would have been useful if I'd have needed such a thing while I was there. Parking was easy, right next to the hotel with no height restriction, but they charged me an additional 15€ when I checked out. I will say that very close to the hotel on the road that led us straight to it, there is an overpass with a (clearly marked) low clearance of 3, 2m. I was driving a 3, 3m truck and had to turn around and do some crazy driving around in the city to get back to the hotel. It was all good, though. We survived.

All was great, except that to be there on my birthday I would expect at least a small suprise candy in the room:) or maybe it's just me:)

From the point of view of the ancient Vedic architecture hotel is correctly oriented entrance towards the cardinal points. This has a positive effect on all those who work, live, carries on a business in that place all the luck!

The worst access to the old city. Cross the bridge can be complex and night dangerous.
