Living shed with clear management problems. On the positive side, there are meeting rooms. Otherwise, it can be taken very well as a bad example.

Very clean, confortable, quite, with large rooms. It is near the old town, bus and train station, shopping center so you just can walk everywhere. The breakfast is complete with a lot of cheese to taste. The staff is correct but I would like them to smile (it seems that no-one smiles to you in Riga). The only negative was the bathroom. Each time you had a shower, all the water went out of the bathroom to the living room! It was fun.

Friendly clean Rooms, Fracking Costumes good, otherwise the Food can be improved even more.

Good hotel ideally situated next to the central station and within easy walking distance of the old city. Quiet and nice at the same time.

My first ever negative review. I only ever rate places 5 stars, if I don't like a place I just don't rate it because my perception may be unfair. However this hotel is definitely sui generis in terms of alleged policies toward accord fidelity card members in an otherwise extraordinarily beautiful city. I shall never return to this place — plenty otherwise nice Hotels in town, which to me also seem of superior quality, and in particular, with friendly attitude toward guests.

It is really 4 star with nice breakfast cannot ask more at the price paid. This is recently uop-date to make one of upmarket hotel in Riga. In the centre 2 min to central station and big shopping centre. We got 2 hours respite for check out having our late evening flight home complimentary. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location with large parking. The bar feels like a living room really cool.

Room and stay was OK. Food was good. There is no good place in lobby to have a meeting or to sit with people. Busines meeting room are with the minimal requirments, but do not include nothing complementary. Not even a glass of water… No wilingness for flexability in late checkout.

We were there one weekend and I don't know about quality… Its not worth it… Parking place was full even we did pay for our place, they even didn't said sorry. Frond desk workers are rude and they aren't friendly. Have a look photos. A four star hotel has even problems with breakfast. Where staff are unable to provide a hot breakfast … Eggs cold, dry bread and chees and what about pancakse I dont want to talk… Staff who sweep food to the floor… ON THE TABLE TO FLOOR…! Abnormal! Spa is small and you need too pay to much. Get a new place.

Not the first time staying at the Mercure Hotel! I like it very much. Great breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice sauna. But unfortunately when there were January 20, did not work Jacuzzi. And we hope that there is our missing, forgotten in the room. We recommend this hotel despite the casus that happened to us.

Good breakfast. A lot off choices of salads. Nice small spa. Jacuzzi, Turkish and Finnish sauna.

My only complaint after the one night is the bathroom. The toilet area is flooded like the Baltic Sea and there is no drainage for the water. Wet feet into carpeted floor is not good. Lost my electric shaver.

Very nice room with enough space, large shower and underfloor heating in the bathroom, own W-lan for each room, top breakfast with freshly prepared Omletts on request and everything you need.

Good hotel in the city. Sorry to say that it have seen better days, in need of an renovation. Probably the hardest beds I slept in this year. Not so clean in the shower, might be because it not so new.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and hotel was in a central location, and the Wi-Fi was good! Two option — your own personal Wi-Fi for the room, and a hotel Wi-Fi used in communal areas. Gym was 24 hour access and although small and basic, good. Never tried the restaurant however the attached empire casino was good too!

I have stayed several times in the hotel. For me there is the best breakfast ever offered — selection and freshness of its same. Sauna and massages are also recommended.

Lovely four-star hotel with very good service and helpful staff — a really "like a five-star" one! Varied breakfast, cozy room. The SPA (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi) made our stay even better esp. In the winter cold.

Clean, neat. Somewhat upset with the Breakfast a little bit poor. And also upset that the room did not have drinking water. Otherwise all is well.

2016/06/26, Last night is my first time been told to use the fan to pass a hot summy night with broken air conditions with no other options. Only 1 fan offer, but ask that can have only 2 fans to pass my suck night. What a great hotel choice. Ask for help since 22:00, after one time useless fix in 22:30, ask for help again got a fuxking “ impossible” feedback! Than tell me I can open a windows (this room have no windows can be open near bed), or have a fan in 23:30. I finally got my 2 fans in 01:30… My room number is 336. If you want to stay, maybe you can ask for detail before booking. Of course, there did have somthing good of this hotel: 1. The building of this hotel is beautiful, especially in night. 2. The location of this hotel is great, very convenient for traveling and shoping. 3. Breakfast is good.

Especially liked the food and that the hotel is so easy to access and un the middle of Riga.

The room is big and clean. A bit strange is that the bed was right next to the door. The bathroom was also large, modern and clean. Shower, with rain shower and normal shower. Small drawbacks in the bathroom to hang the towels near the wash basin. Very little counter space in the sink area. The cosmetic mirror is very high. I'm 171 and the mirror hung actually above me. I had to turn him down and you had to apply make-up, quasi — "over the head", which is very unusual. The entrance door to the room is very solid and very good isolated. You can hear as good as nothing from the hallway. Windows open, very quiet room. Buffet Breakfast is o. K. But not super. Rather a bit sparse, but what was offered was fine. Decor is modern, location is good.

The hotel is conveniently located near train station, old town, all within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very attentive. Excellent sound insulation-trains generally inaudible. Breakfasts are good, especially if you are travelling with young children. The only downside-parking could be cheaper.

Positive: brand new, clean, very central (5-minute walk to Opera, old town, shopping), breakfast is equivalent to 4 stars, friendly staff, SPA area
Negative: (4th floor to the Court) strange "fridge" noise at some point from 04:00! I — first thought comes from outside. Cut everything outside window — quietly. Any air conditioning or heating.

We had a great time, the staff were super pleasant. The location is great very close to central, and transportation. Breakfast exceeded expectations there is nothing that we could think to add to make a better experience.

This hotel had to move out of another hotel because my belt didn't feel safe there. In this hotel the belt relaxed and I even took pictures of it a couple of times and everything was fine.

How many times was not all right and the belt in one piece.
It's a great hotel!
