Great place to stay! Restaurant serves excelent dishes and the beach is just in a few steps!
Small guesthouse located directly on the sea shore in Nida, Latvia. It is only few kilometers from boarder with Lithuania. Good alternative when Palanga is fully booked. Sea is about 50 to 80 meters away. It is very convenient to stay here with the small kids. There is also special playground and many toys to keep the occupied. One premium room has huge windows with a sea view. Donwstairs they have a restaurant where you can order food. Also you can book a room with the breakfast (10€) and day lunch (7.5€) included. Menu is little expensive for the evening, but they serve octopus which is really worth trying. You can have some of their dinner dishes during lunch time for special price. They do not have A/C so ask for mosquito nets and open windows during hot days. Beach is very quiet. You can easily walk 5minutes any direction and enjoy your sunbath fully naked without other people arround.

We just got back from this place. The location is beautiful, very close to the beach. We stayed at the hotel as well as separate private house. Hotel rooms were clean and nice, however private house did not look so clean. There was sand in the beds, possibly from people who stayed before us, which means sheets probably were not changed. We stayed there for 5 days. All these days there was a big dog of the leash just running around territory, we figured out it was owner’s dog. We love dogs, but this dog was a little bit disturbing to others and us. The dog would come and sit next to the tables at the restaurant, while resting at the beach it would come and just pee next to your towel. The owner was pretty rude, but the other workers were very nice. Other than that, hotel is in a perfect location, I hope owner’s can fix some little details so we could come back here again.
