We had an incredible week at The River Resort! The staff were wonderful, the food tasty, the atmosphere serene. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed with beautiful views of the Mekong. They were very helpful in assisting us with planning excursions to Don Deng and the 4, 000 Islands. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you River Resort for an unforgettable week!

I paid an expensive price for Laos to have a pleasant secluded villa facing the Mekong River with no neighbors INVASION OF PRIVACY IS A CRIME IN EUROPE OR USA, ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE EVER I complained at the front desk as I was leaving the next morning, and received not apology but just a big smile to my face

Very quiet and peaceful. Time to enjoy your day with nature and sleep within the wonderful panoramic scenery view. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Awesome! I love this place.

Great location and stunning views from the riverside rooms. Very friendly staff, comfortable large rooms and relaxing pool and spa. Great packages on offer. Good hub to visit the Bolevan Plateau, 4, 000 Islands and Champasak.

The resort is very relaxing in a beautiful decor. This hotel offers some massages and also a lot of other services such as swimming pool and beautiful nature.

It is expensive but very beautiful and comfortable. Probably the best resort in southern Laos, any rate confused.

Absolutely amazing. The best resort I stayed at in Laos.

Though this is a bit outside of town the location is stunning. Don't buy bus tickets through hotel, as I believe they charge a higher rate. Otherwise, worth paying a bit more to stay at what seems like paradise in Champasak. Lovely resort.

Good four star hotel along the mekong.

This a luxury resort pretty much in the middle of nowhere. If you'd like peace and quiet, good views and wildlife then this is a good place. We were greeted by what research told us where Empress Cicadas — the biggest and possibly the loudest cicada. The food is good. The people are very helpful. This is a great place for visiting Wat Phou and Champasak — which are both nice — and a better place for a day trip to Sit Phan Don than staying in Pakse. Recommended.

If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, The River Resort is the perfect getaway. The resort is about 30 minutes away from Pakse International Airport. Reach out to the resort directly to get the best available rates or promotion packages. Every employee we have met goes above and beyond to ensure we are comfortable. The restaurant food is delicious, my only suggestion to the resort would be to increase more choices of local Laotian food. Overall highly recommended and I would definitely return!
