Loved staying here an oasis of calm great place to unwind and relax. Good food and excellent service great start and end to our holiday. Can’t believe you have en-suite tents! Great location not far to the airport. We will be back.

Very nice place to stay. People are nice And the service is very good. We slept in a dorm-tent. The beds were good. Breakfast had enough choices and was tasty. We had a really nice time here and we would recommend this please!

It's a small haven of beauty in Karen. I was surprised I had never thought of going there before. You feel like you're out of town even if you're a local and didn't really make the journey. It's ideal for camping when you're not actually prepared for the hardships of outdoors. There are 'dorms' rather tents with several bunk beds. They are co-ed so come with friends or family preferably. The restaurant serves great food and the pool is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you love taking photos, this is the place. But what excited me the most was the life size chess board. You can step on it as you play. It was a lovely stay.

This place is generally very relaxing at a nice distance from Nairobi hassle. However your experience depends largely on the other guests. We had the bad luck of having a large group of Dutch tourists screaming at the top off their lungs in the tent next to us at five am making it a little difficult to get a proper rest. The food is good though and there are many games to play. Perfect for a summer camp type situation.

This place is awesome! I stay here regularly during my travels between Zanzibar and Kenya and quite frankly refuse to stay anywhere else! Management and staff are always polite, helpful and courteous. The rooms/tents are always clean, so are the shared washrooms. I also always arrange my airport transfers with them and have never had to wait for their drivers. Always on time and friendly and courteous. Love this place and highly recommend to all! :)

Great scenery but very, very, very poor service and guest relations. It has lost its former glory. E. G. We requested for 0600hrs breakfast but were rudely told it is company policy to serve only after 0700hrs. Our guests arrived by late flight and no receptionist but security guard to check them in. Last time they were handing our guests packed breakfast at 2350hrs to go sleep with.

The Wildebeest does it all! A friendly secure haven to explore Nairobi or as a base for wildlife safaris. They provide tourist accommodation catering for all budgets in a range of chalets and tents. Well maintained outdoor swimming pool, games, restaurant, beautiful gardens and a gentle relaxing atmosphere. We love it!

I had great fun in this campsite. Way better than a hotel and cheaper. There is wonderful complementary breakfast and a bar serving drinks and beverages all day into the night.

Fabulous staff, peaceful and quiet, my 2 children have hounded me to stay again this year for longer than one night, so have just booked 3 nights, close to The David Sheldrick Trust to see our fostered elephants which is what the trip is all about, lovely pool and although I don't do camping, this is not boy scouts camping more like glamorous camping so both precious mummy and two young boys very happy and excited to be returning for our 2nd visit — think we will be returning on a yearly basis to Wildebeest Eco Camp.

Bad experience, the staff not very courteous that to question you grimace with contempt, slow in the restaurant where the ingredients for breakfast end early as well for lunch you have practically half choice and with several oversights like having to wait Several minutes someone at the front desk or opening the entrance gate. There is a pool but unfortunately it is always dirty being without any kind of cleaning system. Under the pool there is a pond that unfortunately only serves as a receptacle for mosquitoes because it is not even too aesthetic. In the room there is no TV, power outlet in the bathroom for hairdryer, mosquito nets on the windows or Wi-Fi and the double are the usual two singles paired in the last in the bathroom hot water would be available at any time but at most comes slightly lukewarm. Aesthetically pleasing.

Nice, friendly staff. I'd stay here again. They have an airport pick up service. It's $30 one way, and convenient.

Beautiful, serene & clean. Nbi's best kept secret. Get-away within the city. Mostly white clientele but could add more African variety to their food I'm sure they'd enjoy it too.

Initially gave this place a great review because it's one of a kind and the place is amazing. But honestly the reception staff sucks! They are useless especially the older guy at night shift, he sometimes get on day shift, ask him anything and he was rude as hell! As you deal with different people and they keep a tab on for you, you will end up having money arguments! Seriously, if you want to avoid the hassle, just book everything online, insist on paying the bill every night, bit of a hassle. Read all their fine print before ordering!

A relaxing and pleasant place to stay, close to the bustle of Nairobi and not too far from the airport. A great jumping-off point for travelers starting on or between trips out into the national parks.

A peaceful and cozy place. Far from city center and there is nothing much. But you can walk 500m to the main road and catch a daladala easily. I would stay again.

The site is just great, the staff very helpfull and the tent was amazingly beautifull. We had Nr. 1, maybe that helped a little, the view on the pool was so cool. A little treasure in a hectic surrounding!

I took my lady for her birthday over the weekend and we ended up staying longer. Why, because for one we couldn't believe there was a slice of splendour in Nairobi that we could escape to without feeling like we haven't left the city. A short drive from our homes and we felt at home away from home, very peaceful, relaxing and very accommodating.
The staff was helpful but our only cringing moment was the "pool matter" someone well trained to treat and clean the pool needs to be on hand plus signage about its status clear and visible.
I for one shall be back, my sweetheart in tow and definitely more of our friends.
We ask for one thing, more group activities to bring guests together, always a plus to make friends. We did over the weekend.
Kudos to the owners for making this possible.

Serene, clean, good service and eco luxury tented camp.

Stayed over the 2016 Christmas and early Jan break pre and post a safari. Accomodation was clean and simple and well located for touring Nairobi and it's surroundings. That's the only positive I can give. For the price paid the breakfast/lunch/dinner menu is limited. The lack of a hot shower on demand and missing basic amenities like bottled water in the room for the duration of the stay is a let down to what is a well maintained, secure location.

This place was such a pleasant surprise — a tented safari camp right in the middle of a city! Its perfect for people visiting Kenya for a safari because it makes it possible to start the wild adventure from the moment you fly in. Instead of staying in some downtown hotel before starting your trip to one of the national park, you can stay here and it feels like you are already in the bush. Its quiet, lovely comfortable tented room — some are self contained. I think you can also camp on the grounds too.

I stayed in a single cottage room for three nights during my trip to Kenya and Tanzania. The decor is beautiful and it was really clean. The shower was hot which was most definitely welcome after my kili trek. The staff are very helpful and the food was delicious, with good service. Furthermore, the Eco camp setting allows you to enjoy a true sense of being at one with nature. I will visit the camp again, on my next trip to Nairobi and I highly recommend it.

Very comfortable place to stay. Excellent for people needing a place to stay for a night or even a few hours before catching their next connecting flight. Great food, lively atmosphere, absolutely amazing place.

A marvellous space to chill and reflect on what it is to be divine or human, depending on your point of view.

Accommodations were exactly as advertised. In addition the porch is wonderful. They have better then expected dinners, the bar has reasonable prices, and the company was excellent. I would recommend this to any travelers. The only downside is the distance to major attractions, but that's an issue with all lodging in the area. The reception desk will call a reputable cab and negotiate fair rates for you for any transportation needed.
