Just beautiful. Great staff. Good food with an amazing view.

Just an outstanding lodge! Staff are so kind and accommodating, our room was just gorgeous. Attention to detail in the design and the grounds are just impeccable. It’s inside Nairobi National Park, so it’s an easy trip from the airport. And of course there is wildlife all around! Best part — the produce used for meals comes right from their gardens. I watched the chef picking beets, lettuce, zucchini, pepoers and tomatoes from the garden this morning — which all ended up on my plate for lunch!

I came back to Ololo Lodge for the third time with friends. We had the tents which are beautiful. The food is excellent and the Lodge just lovely. Everybody working there is so attentive and kind. Joanne is a great host. Sam took us on an early game drive in the Park. I can highly recommend Ololo Lodge.

My daughter & I stayed in a converted stable room … we so loved your place, baboons and all. The hanging bridge out front is fabulous. I saw the King of the Jungle on the way thru Nairobi national Park to your wonderful house on my 1st day. All your staff were great, very friendly, your rooms are so clean & well kept. Every animal I wanted to see was just right there … We had a great introduction to your wonderful Africa … I hope to return … one day!

I highly recommend Ololo Safari Lodge. The location on the edge of the Nairobi National Park is amazing and the staff and guides are wonderful. The food was fresh and delicious and the my stable room was very nice & cosy.

It's been just a few days since we returned to the United States, but already I want to be back at the exquisitely beautiful, comfortable and simply perfect Ololo Safari Lodge. Joanna and her wonderful and charming staff made our stay an unforgettable joy. We began our 17 day Safari at Ololo Lodge, then travelled to Mount Kenya Safari Club, then to Elsamere lodge. A mid-point stay again at Ololo for a needed rest and for the fabulous food… then off to Amboseli National Park and the Maasai Mara for stays at Zebra Plains Collection Tent Camps and unbelievable game drives. Then a day back at Ololo to say goodbye.
Guide George, Charley, Francis, and all of the folks at Ololo are just tops!

Would recommend Ololo to anyone that craves class and service. The rooms are very clean and private. The surroundings will play to your senses and the staff will look after all your needs. The owners are friendly, professional and above all make you feel at home.

Ololo is truly something special. Amazing location, incredibly serene hotel with everything you could ever want and breathtaking views of Nairobi national park. Staff are so welcoming and make you feel right at home. The food is delicious, the common areas are large but homelike, and the outdoor space is stunning.

A wonderful get away and so close to the city. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. I stayed in one of the tented cottages, absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Huge compliments to the chef; the food was amazing, an Asian African fusion, I guess? So good, I completely over ate and loved every minute of it! I was in Kenya for work and only had a small bit of time to squeeze in a relaxing retreat over the weekend. The Ololo was perfect.

It is the best place if you need a perfect holiday.

If anyone wants to stay in a beautiful hideaway lodge in Nairobi National park … stay here at the Ololo Lodge! It is stunning, the staff are lovely and look after you so well, the place is stunning, a totally amazing experience! We will stay again.

Cannot describe in words how perfect this place is the staff are incredible, the owner is lovely and the game drives are perfect. 100% will be back in the future for longer this time.

To start with, the way you are met by the staff is just fantastic. And on that way it just goes on. Food is excellent, and I’m mean excellent and the way the staff continue to treat you is magnificent. Lovely room in the stable, yes we just loved everything with Ololo Lodge! Yes, there is aeroplanes flying over us, can be a bit annoying but does not at all take away the good feeling we had there.

Ololo the place to be. When visiting Nairobi start with this place and you'll enjoy the rest of your trip. Food is excellent and figure licking. Hygiene is highly maintained and well trained, welcoming and humble staff. Value for money. I recommend you give a visit and experience the ambience.

In the Nairobi National park on the outskirts of Nairobi great place to see giraffes, warthogs, zebra, Buffalo and many bird species.

Our first two nights in Kenya at Ololo Lodge in the Nairobi National Park were a wonderful introduction to a safai which followed in the Masai Mara. Craig and Joanna are lovely hosts, as were all their staff. Relaxed, comfortable, beautifully decorated, good food. A visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary in the Park is a must, the most wonderful place. A visit to a glass blowing factory nearby was also fascinating. And on the way back, saw not only an eight lion pride eating a kill, but six rhinos, both white and black, and numerous birds and other animals, with Ernest, the excellent guide.

Amazing venue, service, and location. Seriously, if anyone ever asks, I would absolutely recommend.
