Courteous staff and clean establishment but rather makeshift buildings. Crowded restaurant with sluggish table service and inadequate cutlery at mealtimes. Well landscaped gardens.

A 2 star I give cause of the work done on the grounds being in the middle of a dry place. They have done a good job with the architecture and landscaping. The prices are however exaggerated. Food wise its disappointing to order one thing and be served another or some low standard version. Just do not order salad nicoise as you will get a plate full of tomatoes, one boiled egg sliced into pieces with lettuce and cucumber on the side for 450/-. Order lamb chops and you get some hard piece of beef or could it be stale lamb. You just cant cut it even with the sharpest knife so you end up leaving it yet you pay 800/-

Nice hotel, very comfy, good food, conveniently located near highway, conference facilities that can accommodate several conferences at once.

I have always loved the buffet. The chefs are on point. Great ambience as well though it can get a little windy in the evenings.

Beautiful Loge — great for work conferences and adult time. I enjoyed the nature walk and got to see 5 different types of wild animals. The staff were very professional and friendly!

The service is absolutely wonderful, the grounds exceptional and the food simply scrumptious. The Wi-Fi is way too fast. There's huge a swimming pool too. It's a must go.

Great place for conferences and retreats for companies. They have over 250 rooms for accommodation. Construction of new rooms is underway to make it over 300 by end of next year. They have cheaper room rates during the weekend as it is mostly used for conferences and busy during the week. It's also an awesome place to pop in for a meal out here, 60km from Nairobi. Decent food, but don't expect taste-bud popping meals. AND they have a beautiful pool — half Olympic size. K500 (about US$5 for a swim if you're not staying at the lodge). They also have nature walks at 6 in the morning and at the same time in the evening.

Ran 10km from here and totally enjoyed it. I did a flat run and bumped into gazelles and monkeys then had a great breakfast at Maanzoni. The pool at Maanzoni and dining room are great. I thought it would be well rural but it is same as any Nairobi hotel. And there is loads of parking.

Nature walk, swimming pools for adults and kids, restaurant, good food.

Noisy on weekends but during the week its great for swimming, dinning, meetings or just relaxing on your own with a good book. It also has a relatively wide selection of local cuisine.

Quite cool place away from the noisy distraction of Nairobi. Has very good conference facilities. As well as accommodation. They offer nature walks in the morning and evenings too. Few kms from Machakos junction.

It is a very isolated nice hotel outside of Nairobi and good for a weekend getaway, food is good, rooms are very big, there is a pool sometimes they have live bands and music, there is a bar.

Nice environment, being out of town. Easy accessibility being a couple of hundred metres from the Mombasa Road. Nice rooms and conference facilities. Need to work on food though.

They have super friendly and very helpful staff. This is home away from home with good customer care. Their services are great and you will definitely enjoy variety of foods on the menu and the drinks.

The employees at this lodge are wonderful, friendly and helpful people. They show real care for their guests. This more than compensates for the lack of air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Sparkling pool, good food and a beautiful garden combine with the employee to make this place a good destination for conferences.

Great customer service. Its a little pricy but so worth it. The Christmas decors were quite unique. For nature lovers, they have a nature walk in the mornings and evenings. Its beautiful. Thank you Maanzoni lodge and merry Christmas.

A beautiful lodge about an hour outside of Nairobi. It's pretty pricey and not near much, so only go there for a business function. It has a gorgeous pool, but it's cold as your mother's heart. All meals are buffet style, so be prepared.
