I admire it's receptionists and their food are healthy for all well served, equity and equality's for all customers.

A hotel that has a very cool environment and very beautiful. You will love their food and services offered.

We called in advance to make sure that there was a room available. And they promised a double room. We arrived at night, there was no room available anymore. So we had to find another room to stay in the dark.

I think this hotel has seen better days, nonetheless is spacious with a terrace upstairs and multiple restaurents downstairs.

Food at al yusra is amazing. Especially the price very reasonable! Restaurant is luxurious too with amazingly air conditioned.

New Palm Tree hotel is ideally located in Mombasa city center, but that's pretty much all it has going for it. The rooms are old and hardly maintained. However, it's a good choice for the budget conscious traveler who is in town for a short stay only.

Great breakfast and really good reception here. Just average rooms and relatively cheap for budget travellers.

The manager was so good and the other workers very polite and courteous. We loved their service and. Enjoyed our one week stay!

Ac not working, rooms kind of old and dirty. When notifying reception they couldn't fix the problem so the room was very hot (not ventilated well). Mosquito net was broken and installed incorrectly. After complaining we got a 10% discount for two rooms. One employee was begging for money after trying to fix ac.

The breakfast cook is very uncouth, plus greedy. If he asks you for money just tell him to go to a bank.

$30 for a night in a room with cockroaches everywhere and two lizards that fell from the roof of the very old facilities, the shower that after 3 minutes becomes a swimming pool with spiders hanging from the roof. We had to ask to change rooms because it was absolutely impossible to sleep in such a place. Second room rather correct with a sense of hygiene absolutely different to the previous but a clim ' faulty that made a noise of hell. Decent breakfast on the terrace (the only good thing about this place)

The good sides of the hotel are its central location and unbeatable room rates. The rooms are arranged around a rooftop terrace — the street-side rooms at Nkrumah Rd are quite noisy but to endure with the window closed. Aircondition and fans work well. "My" bathroom (R 12) would need a basic renovation. The staff, from the chambermaid to the reception, were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is available on the terrace. In addition to a good selection of cakes, the restaurant on the ground floor also offers delicious local food. If you have to pay attention to money and want to live centrally, this is the right place!

Location is very convenient. They claim to have a hot shower but this was not the case for us. The rooms are very old and basic. But for one night it was sufficient. Breakfast was included and was very basic as well. Staff was very friendly.

The service is great. However, it's more of a budget stay. Not recommended for business trip.

Humble setting, friendly stuff, transport easily available from hotel taxi to tuk tuks right outside. Few minutes walk to Fort Jesus. Quiet, enjoyable stay.

We had some nice nights here. The receptionist helped a lot for planning our day in Mombasa. Also the breakfast was yummy and made me happy. Good big rooms, old toilets, but for two three for nights ok. On the roof is a wonderful relaxing zone.
Only the taxi the hotel sent us was to expensive, here you should talk.
I loved the mango smoothie in the restaurant next to the reception.

Brilliant place and right location.

For a traveller on a tight budget, the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Mombasa town. Amenities included, air conditioned rooms, comfortable beds, TV and pretty good Wi-Fi connection. Hot water showers work well and the breakfast provided is standard fare with no limit to amount one can eat, that's a plus. On the lobby are two restaurants to cater for different cuisines. Secure parking at the back really serves well for those driving their own cars. Definitely worth a try.

A good value for one's money given its rates. I wouldn't mind spending a night there once more.

Although not the most modern hotel, I found the staff very polite and it was amazing value for money. The staff are always happy to help when you need it. The breakfast buffet was great. The location was good. Overall I enjoyed my stay at New Palm Tree hotel.

Everything was fine, considering it is a cheap hotel. No problems whatsoever.

A. Class hotel in the middle of. The city. Everything is to foot accessible.

Great place with no pressure. Very ideal for groups with budgets to watch. Some good Ugandan food restaurant for lunch.

Furnitures and facilities are old and not well maintained but still clean and works. Rooms are airconditioned but it is not allowed to use it between 6am-12pm and 4pm-10pm. It is more like a 2star hotel. Breakfast was nice with omlette, honey, sausage, watermelon, banana, bread, coffee/tea. Plus, there is no shampoo in the bathroom : (.
