Incredible place, family friendly and fantastic food!

I don’t ever want to leave this place! You can walk/run/swim for miles without seeing another soul, eat prawns, fish and lobster all day every day. So relaxing and beautiful. Sun, sand and sanitizer… what more can a girl wish for?

Going back in time! A must visit but in season — Sept to May.

Wonderful place to chill out, beautiful setting.

The place is beautiful… the service by the staff is amazing but woe unto you who runs into the owner… that’s also if you are black… he is racist. And rude… we were playing music, African pop hits off our Bluetooth speaker at the bar… there were no guests in sight so we weren’t bothering anyone best of our knowledge and he came and shoved the person near the speaker and said “we don’t even want your music”… dude, it’s Africa, your gonna get a whole lot of African jams… all he should have politely said is to ask us to turn it down… anyway. They are very shifty with how they treat locals… it’s something that they are known for… I just never thought I’d see the owner being so out right racialist … he seemed annoyed that we were at his bar.

So magical! Us and our three children (11, 9 and 7), absolutely loved every minute of our 10 day stay. There was so much to do, and yet we left feeling deeply relaxed. The food was delicious, and they catered amazingly for our gluten free child — without him eating anything different to the rest of us! The kids enjoyed every minute: climbing coconut trees, water skiing, snorkelling, seeing buffalo, beach combing, feeding bush babies, eating on the beach each night, fishing, looking for crabs, swimming in the pool, looking for bugs … and more. Such precious childhood memories, thank you!

Own and operated by a local family, the resort is tucked away in Manda Bay. It's plocatiin makes it a great locatiin if you want privacy and seclution. The staff are curtious and attentive, the spaces are nice, and the drinks and food are great.

Where I wana go always… :)

I spent three days at Manda Bay in late September after a long trek from the US. It was 10 out of 10. Bungalows right on the water, very comfortable beds, bedding and towels, the food was on a scale of the "best I have ever had", Fuzz the owner took great care of my friend and I and loved the visiting Bush Babies before dinner. Perfect, wonderful and it was a great beginning to the rest of our travels.

What a wonderful place. Magical sunsets, the restless ocean at your doorstep, professional and friendly staff, delicious feasts from the sea, and a capable manager who puts guests at ease and provides for their every desire.
