Very old and pitiful. Nice place to dine on the terrace.

Pay for what you get, budget hotel so you can't complain too much, maintainance needs to be done in the room and an actual door put on the bathroom rather than a shower curtain. Roof terrace is great though, amazing views onto the city. Staff are also helpful and will let you know how much to pay so you don't get ripped off.

The owner is friendly and indicates the right ways to get to the points of view in Petra.
Boxes are available for lunch at 3, 50JD (orange, cucumber, wafers, pita bread, laughing Cow and cake with butter) it helps.
Breakfast is a fairly simple buffet (the, coffee, bread and pita, jam, olives, eggs) from 6am to 10.30 am.
In the evening a buffet in 6JD is available from 19h to 20h (not taken up so no details).
We had book with breakfast but they wanted us to pay by saying they never do it with the reservation.
We did not let go and finally they did not ask for anything.
Our room was really dilapidated, humid. Lamp and plug that barely hold (see photos).
The soap in the bathroom was already used.
Toilet paper on Demand (1 small roll for 24h).
Noisy hotel, work next door starts very early.
A few minutes from the visitor center by car.
Expensive for what it is and for the benefits provided.

Located in the centre of Wadi Moussa, it is convenient and visible at once.
The room cost 1500 p, did not like, walls shabby, water hot that is, that is not, our friends at all had to replace-there was no hot water. It was very cold in the room and the hotel itself. Of course, we were given 3 blankets, but even in the jacket was not comfortable to be not under the plaid.

The hotel is cheap and in a good location. The staff is nice and there is a great rooftop terrace. In the winter there's heating in the rooms. Breakfast unfortunately not included and crappy bathroom "door". Bad rating of only two stars because there were many bedbugs in our twin room. We both had several bites and found three bugs in our beds. Because of that we probably wouldn't go there again.

Simple place for a budget price, very friendly staff and good dinner and breakfast. The shower didn't work properly in our room and we didn't have a shower curtain and the sheets were not very clean, but overall it's a good budget hotel for travellers.

For the price, basic and old room, sheets were not very clean… The bathroom was old and not working properly. Breakfast was minimal and not even included. Heating was good — we appreciated it. Overall not the best value.

Simple hotel with really nice staff. If you're on a budget trip the Petra Gate Hotel is a good place to consider. The rooms a simple but clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. Also you should consider to enjoy the dinner which is offered every evening and severed on the roof top lounge with a beautiful view over Wadi Mursa.

Nice, clean, simple, place for very economical price. English speaking front desk — the very kind, helpful, owner/ manager. Excellent laundry service, strong Wifi, and yummy Arabic breakfast. Good location at the top of the business district hill in Wadi Musa just a 15 minute walk down to the Petra entrance. Overall a very good value!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Place is in a central distance, about 15 min crossroads uphill from the Petra Visitor center. Rooms are very basic and could use a little refurbishment.

Very friendly hotel, good for a solo female traveller. Great roof cafe with the most incredible view of Wadi Musa and Petra area for one of the best sunsets! The man running it, Nasser, is amazing and will do anything for you to help you. There didn't seem to be any dorm rooms though, as they were just twin rooms.

This place has a very nice view for sunset and staff is very friendly. However the rooms are very basic with poor cleanliness. I had to shorten my stay here, I had to cancel my 2nd night booking and find another hotel for the same price.

I stayed there for one night, but the owners wereso great I would have stayed more time. They speak good english and helped out in every way possible. Very reasonable price and would recommend 100%.

The best place to stay in Petra! The people that run the place are extremely nice and attentive, the rooms are clean, the food is delicious, and the price is extremely fair! They have a great view of the city on their rooftop where you can sit back, relax, and watch the sun paint the sky with breathtaking colors as it sets behind the mountains. They also arranged a cab to pick us up at the Aqaba border and take us back the following day which saved us a ton of money. If you are going to Petra, don't waste your time or money anywhere else, stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Great service and hospitality! Very helfull, friendly and good english speaking staff. Clean and comfortable room with a nice shower. On the rooftop of this hotel you will find the most beautifull view across the valley. 1 minute walk to the shops and restaurant.
