A great hotel with an excellent service.

Unfortunately not the same quality service they used to have. Room service are bad. Receptionist service is bad on check out. Room service misplaced towels and directly you accuse the guests :s really bad service and bad experience. I am so sad for a regular guest to have such bad treatment.

Very nice though they might want to update their pool temperature board said 25 dived straight in sure I saw a Polar bear as I got out.

It was my third time to be in the InterContinental Aqaba Resort, the place is super fantastic, the service is amazing and staff are so welcoming. Many thanks to Mr. Fadi Ghattas for his cooperation in getting a preferential price for my reservation and for his kindness and generosity to upgrade my room to become a sea view, and big thanks to the staff at the reception desk for their kindness, beautiful smile and cooperation.
Breakfast and dinner were served in the outstanding restaurant, Courniche Restaurant, the food was great and the staff and manager are so welcoming, helpful and friendly.

My most favorite hotel in Aqaba. We spend here couple of days and everything was excellent. Rooms very clean and tidy. Furniture in room very nice. Bed very comfortable and I sleep like baby. Honestly speaking I can see big improvement in cleanliness everywhere in the hotel. Big thanks for management!

Very good hotel. One of the best hotel beaches I've been to so far. Excellent staff, best service level I've experienced so far in both Jordan and Israel. Only complaint was that half of the pool is closed for some reason, and that the middle part of the pool is sometimes quite dirty. But still an extraordinary experience.

One of the best hotels in Aqaba. Friendly service, clean well kept hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that they don't allow you to enter an food from outside. Allot of pools and life guards that are well trained and are very friendly. The restaurants are good and have a large variety of well made food. Overall, I enjoyed my and if I visit aqaba again will definitely stay in this hotel.

Excellent hotel infrastructure, a great emphasis on family holidays, for children 3 play areas: by the sea, by the pool (all under the canopy) and a room. Children's menu (unsweetened baked pancakes and waffles), chamomile tea, omelet and oatmeal with raisins and fruits, natural yogurt. Our "non-want" is full. Service and staff 5 points. From the wishes I note: sockets by the bed — it is convenient, such convenience in our room was not. Mini-schooner is quite, quite mini) and works weakly. View from the window to the sea, parking and construction.

Great little private beach at the hotel. Rooms are clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend Burj Al Hamam for lunch or dinner. A kid friendly hotel with lots of different play areas for the children. Water activities of all sorts can also be arranged through the hotel.

Great location (large rooms, private beach, several pools, playgrounds and rooms, cafes and restaurants), tasty breakfasts and dinners, pleasant staff. For me the big minus was that it is possible to smoke everywhere: on a beach, in hotel corridors, in a respirator on a street. And there are many smokers, especially locals. The hotel is in demand, especially from Thursday to the:). The water in the sea is clear, but due to the fact that near the port, there was a lot of rubbish to the shore from the ships. Well, on the sand a lot of butts, why they do not remove them. Animation works every day, arrange competitions, games. Well done!

Disappointing hotel. Rooms are not that clean and service is below par for intercontinental. Moreover, the hotel needs refurbishing.

Pros: Nice rooms and view Specious lobby Good location Nice beach but cold in april Good breakfast (not great) Cons: Dirty for 5 star hotel (room and bathroom spa) Jacuzzi is cold in men spa section Front desk lady was rude and most of them are not professional (normal in jordon) They never apologize if they’re wrong (bad customer service) When I checked out (the lady told me if she can rate here self 10/10 on behalf of me! ) well this never happened to me before worldwide Please, train your receptionists specially the ladies to take care about customers. Its business not charity to be rude with people.

What a Hotel! Super clean friendly stuff and best food. I stood here for 2 days and was truly amazed. Pools to hang out, access to the sea and really friendly staff made my visit in this hotel unique. A good place to relax and bring you family too.

Great spot — for anyone working out in the desert, the day rate is pretty fair for full access to the resort. They were rather welcoming — The day pass is good until midnight (from whenever you purchase it) and the pool is an excellent facility. There is a gym which is well equipped for a hotel gym — full rack of dumbells and a few small barbells, along with standard machines. Restaurant menu was faultless, absolutely stunning food.

The reception staff's treatment is very bad. And to be honest it was the worst experience I ever had, and I will advise everyone I Know not to go there. I've missed my flight because I've spent 45mins trying to finish the check out, and I've been trying to figure out what the problem is, but no one responded. So I've tried then to see the manager but they prevented me. Then after all that time I found out that there's a pack of nuts costs 3$ is missing from the mini bar and they charged me that! That was incredible. I'm really disappointed.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and Wi-Fi worked well. Don't miss the native dancing in the small bar in the evening. The beach is also very nice.

An absolutely amazing resort in Aqaba! The staff is so friendly and it is so clean here. I love the portion of the beach they are on and the pools are so much fun. They have fun adult supervised activities for the kids to do. I am absolutely in love with this place and I can't wait to visit it again.

Beautiful hotel, waterfront. Five star. Great buffet, outdoor seating. Heavy unobtrusive security. I felt very safe. LOTS of waterfront lounge chairs. Snorkeling excursion was a lot of fun.

Very comfortable beds and lovely room The staff are very helpful. We use the Executive lounge for peace and quite. Staff there Diane and Pelita was very efficient in providing to our need.

Best hotel to spend some quality time in Aqaba… Great clean breach in comparison with other hotels with access to beach… Great service… Fun team is really friendly with all visitors especially children… Great pool. With a near by pool for children… Would go there for a romantic stay with my loved one… Or for a family vacation. And am sure I wouldn't feel off either ways… Rooms are always clean… Great room service and friendly staff all over. Land scapes make absolute sense… Most rooms have sea view… And its beautiful where ever ur staying… Beds are very comfortable… And they are generous with room amenities.

Fine resort or conference hotel, with a good choice of breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a private beach with swimming pools. Very popular. Can be a bit noisy with young families and excitable children at holiday times.

Beach and pool are great, lots of activities are available. We got a local show in the evening on the beach a guy playing with fire sticks, arabic dance, local music… room are correct, nice view on the ocean. The music is a bit loud some times.

The InterContinental in Aqaba is like a little piece of paradise. The rooms were super nice and comfortable. They have a great pool and beach complex. I enjoyed their nice fitness center down by the spa. We were upgraded to get a free happy hour with light hors d'oeuvres every night — amazing. I didn't want to leave.

We had the chance to be invited to a wedding at the hotel and to access the pol the day after. A majestic location, spacious pool area that has more than 4. Fresh clean towels are offered with a bucket of ice and water to ensure proper hydration: what a nice gesture. The water in the pools smells heavenly good! the life guards are so attentive and friendly! We enjoyed a meal by the pool with fresh green salad and roast beef sandwich! A totally recommended experience!

Beautiful hotel and property. We had an excellent stay except for one detail. People smoke everywhere. Our non smoking room smelled like smoke.

I stayed on 9 June 2012. Even though I had booked online on Intercontinental Hotel site, my booking wasn't found. I had to wait an hour for things to be sorted out. I was told my luggage would be taken to my room, it wasn't and after two requests, I ended up going downstairs and getting it myself. Hotel is at a great location and clean and tidy. On the beach and by pools, the DJ kept stopping music half way through songs which was quite annoying. The DJ at Holiday Inn Dead Sea was great. I had breakfast outside at 6.30am and it was made unpleasant by maintenance staff making an unpleasant sound. If it wasn't for the noise the breakfast would have been perfect. Stayed June 2012, traveled solo.

Crisis area, but if it's calm great. The borders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel. Super hotel. Everything awesome. Nothing to complain about, even if you would find. Outstanding! Well-kept beach and sea. Taba is a completely artificial city.

It's an amazing hotel with many activities especially if you have kids. LOVE IT and this is the only hotel my family and I go to when we visit Aqaba.

Stayed here on a business trip where my family accompanied me and thanks to the exceptional staff, awesome kids activity center (best I have seen in JO so far), playground, and pools everyone had a good time! Plus this hotel is centrally located so you in walking distance of many attractions.

Unbelievable hotel on the red sea. Service, food, and the rooms were all excellent. One of the nicest Intercontinental I have ever stayed in. They treated us like we were royalty and we didn't want to leave.

It's 5 star's hotel, love it,

-worn down -beach is dirty -room service bad: although the rooms are very clean, didn't put new tissue, didn't return iron board (I did & I was too lazy — paid 200 per night to have the board returned at least), didn't refill coffe, creamer tea in the room -breakfast time: main manager is great. Rest of staff wonders aimlessly. Waited for tea for ten minutes, waiter saw me carrying a dish and holding my kids hand opened the door for himself and walked on by smiling, at least he was smiling, waiter spilled tea on the table while pouring & decided it's a nice decor to keep (didn't wipe it), waiters see four people arriving at a table set for two and for three consecutive days no one reset the table for four once we sat (we had to ask for the extra forks, knives etc) I used to like this hotel but the service is bad, the staff is friendly but not trained.

This hotel was so beautiful and clean inside and out. The bed was so comfortable that it felt like I was cuddled by a marshmallow when I went to sleep! The pool was spectacular and the view to the Red Sea was great! When we went to the pool, they gave us a complimentary cooler filled with ice and water bottles which was great in the summer heat! My favorite part was the delicious breakfast buffet which included traditional American and Arab food. It was simply amazing. Staying at the InterContinental hotel was the best part of my trip to Aqaba!
