Great place to stay. Mixture of families and typical hostel folks. Short walk to Kabuchiko or deeper into Obuko. Staff friendly and great help.

The staff are nice and helpful. The place is well maintained and feels so clean. There are towels for rent. It also has shampoo and soap in the showers. It is not crowded. I would recommend it to those who are travelling to tokyo.

The ground floor, common area this hostel is tidy and clean, but kinda awful for the washing laundry area. A sad thing for this hostel is that the floor is quite small (or maybe the room isn't separated decently) that I had to carry my luggage from ground floor to 2nd or 3rd floor, and the stair between each floor is so long. Carrying my big-S luggage from the entrance to my dorm exhaust me (I skipped leg day). And finally the key point of making my experience in this hostel terrible, is the other guests in this place. Most of them are so quiet in the common area pressing their smartphone, but they are like talking as loud as possible in their private room, or even in the dorm at night. The English level of the owner is OK, and he is really helpful on giving travelling advice, but I sincerely hope he would instruct the guests better for their manner, as they are really destroying me and other peaceful guests' experience.

The right combination of hotel and hostel. Has all the amenities you need to enjoy your trip, without the big price tag of Tokyo. Excellent location, and very friendly staff. Will recommend to others!

Good staffs in here. They’re good at english and japansse, even korean. But poor facillity, that’s why the price is cheaper than other rooms in Shinjuku. Far away from the station is also disadvantage of this inn.

They spoke okay English, and give you a very short tour of the place on arivial. But the place is clean and the rooms are clean and the location in Shinjuku is very good close to the shin-okubu station. For the price it's a an okay place.

Good place to stay. Tokyo subway is very nearby. Also close to shinjuku shopping area. Only the bad part about this place is that it does not provide any towels. You need to have your towel. Also the staff was not that friedly. However for a cheap stay I would recommend it.

Breakfast often wasnt there anymore, its also just toast and the ability to bake an egg. Rooms were decent but the ability to charge stuff was a nightmare with many plugs nit working.

In the very centre of Shinjuku, between narrow streets and large street lanes, nice guest house. The rooms are a little bit old.

Great location, very close to Shin-Okubo station and 10 minute walk to Shinjuku station. Very clean dormitory, toilet and shower and at a very reasonable price.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very cheap and the shared facilites are immaculate.

Key couldn't be pull out from door lock. We told the staff about the problem but seemed nobody gonna fix it, so we had to struggle with the key whenever we use the lock. I always pulled out the key with my finger hurts, terrible. And the bed without a curtain leads to the lack of privacy. Furthermore, because the place where staff work is NOT in the entrance of hotel, strangers can easily enter the hotel without being noticed, I doubt about the security. There's always hustlers in front of the hotel. Highly not recommended.

We originally had booked a shared dorm, it was noisy and smelt funky. All previous hostels had curtains for the bunks, these rooms had little privacy and relied on the diligence of room mates to lock the door behind them to secure your items. We paid to get upgraded to the private shared bed which was much better and didn't smell weird. It also had a small area to sit next to the window. The showers weren't that particularly clean. For the price there are nicer hostels nearby if you need to share rooms. A previous comments mentioned hustlers on the streets, that's the red light district near the robot show, just stay smart and keep to yourself and people will leave you alone.

Solid hostel in a good location. Small and quiet, but clean with all the basic amenities. Lockers are too small for most backpacks and cost an extra fee. Also layout of the hostel required climbing up and down stairs to get to the various rooms.

Had a double, room is small but functional. Breakfast is extremely minimalistic, but ok I guess.

Very nice hotel. Felt like a hostel, had communal restrooms but was very clean and had friendly guests. Good for young travelers.

Amazing experience and awesome people to meet. It's a communal type place. Shared bathroom and showers. But the rooms are fairly decent sized and it's nice and cozy in the hotel. They have discounts for robot restaurant and it's a great experience. Will definitely come back when I chime to Japan. It's walking distance from Shibuya. Literally 6-10 min.

It's generally pretty clean. Staff are competent. Downstairs lobby toilets really smell. It has a mix of dormitory rooms and private rooms. Nice Japanese decorations and style.

Is quiet, clean and affordable. More to that, it has a great location. Great staff members…

Large room with a huge bed (very comfortable) and great TV.
Clean bathrooms and showers (common), seasoned with Supermario instructions (heated cup).
Washer and dryer service.
Close to many supermarkets, in Shinjuku, very close to active neighborhoods such as Kabukicho and the Golden Gai.
Big, nice room with huge TV and bed, rrally comfortable.
Shared baths (Supermario pics) and shower yet clean.
North of Shinjuku, pretty close to Kabukicho, Golden Gai and in the middle of several convenience stores.

Cozy room and very comfortable camera. I recommend it.
