I had the best hostel experience in every aspect: the staff, the cleanliness of rooms shower and washroom, room space and the common area. The hostel is also situated in a convenient location to the subway (asakusa land oedo lines) and least to the two of most important tourist attractions (Tokyo skytree and Asakusa shrine). I would definitely book one of their properties next time I go back to Japan. Did I mention the free Japanese drinks, snacks and activities?

Fun hostel! The staff is super friendly and helpful, but you'll also meet other great travelers and have some rad experiences you'll never forget!

Great Hostel with comfy beds a lot of space in the room and the hole hostel is incredible clean. Also nice staff with a good ability to speak english and give you suggestions for the city.

Free Wi-Fi, soap, laundry, heater and so on. Great hostel with friendly workers. Also, Asakusa shrine is just a short walk away. As it is a backpackers hostel, the rooms are expected to be cramped. Your will have to put your shoes outside the lobby, as with standard Japanese style.

Good hostel and helpful staff. Could use some privacy curtains on the beds. A little out from central Tokyo.

Very friendly workers at K's house they are always ready to help out. The rooms are a bit small, but you get what you pay for and it's a quick and cheap why to find a place to stay if you reserve it in time. In the Tokyo area I would recommend you to reserve it a month in advance.

It was the best hostel I have ever been! The rooms, bathroom, and shared area are clean and quite. The staff members are kind and warm. I truly recommend people to stay there.

This is one of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed at. Met so many amazing people yet never felt like the place was too loud/packed. Feels like hanging out at home with a few friends.

Pros: great location close to the subway, and only a 10-minute walk to Senso-ji. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, it was quiet at night, and there was no wait for the shower. Con: The private room was really small, even by Japan’s standards.

Room was very small but that's what I requested. No special luxuries but functional room. But there is a laundry and lovely common areas. Great staff and cheap. A good choice for those on a budget.

Rooms are impeccably clean, Toilet and bathroom are well designed. Totally a value for money!

Really nice Hostel in Tokio. The staff was just amazing am super friendly. I stayed here for 4 nights and can only recommend it. It is conveniently located next to 3 major subway lines and therefore it is easy to reach any part of the city. Asakusa and Akihabara are within walking distance.

The day before the stay of two days, bad experience to note, think of the reference of the latecomers.
1, 2 double-decker wooden bed room, can sleep 4 people, but can stand the space is very small, even 28 inch suitcase can not be fully opened.
2, the floor of the room has plastic thin carpet, but full of Hong Kong feet of the "smell", even open the window all day can not dissipate, so it should be a long-term problem, this stench accompanied us two nights, but also let us the most unacceptable point.
3, bathroom common, shower space is very small, clean degree is very general, wash table is often occupied by foreign girls, to wait a long time.
4, the living room on the first floor has a kitchen refrigerator, the convenience is good, but the electric stove has only one, to use the same to wait in line.
5, location traffic is convenient, from Asakusa temple is also close. Because the room tastes very heavy, we should not come again in the future.

Transportation location is very convenient, pre-hidden (Kuramae) station on A6 exit, two minutes to the hotel, staff attitude is very good, the room is very clean and highly recommended for self-service travel, and like to make friends with tourists from all over the world.

My stay at K's was my first Hostel experience, and it's was a great one. Walking in we we're Instantly welcomed by the super friendly staff. Chiyo and Shoko made us feel right at home. With excellent recommendations on food, helpful hints on trains and great ideas on where to go the staff were excellent! Location was right next to some great food, and close to three of the main subway lines, K's is located perfectly for travellers. Private and dorm rooms were available and not expensive. Plenty of showers, a bath, and lots of hot water. K's is definitely recommended for a short or long rest from the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo without the distance from the action.

I stayed at K's House Tokyo for 4 nights in a mixed dorm after arriving in Tokyo. The staff are incredibly nice people who put significant time and care into making each guest feel comfortable. The room and beds were clean upon arrival, and there is a lot of natural light in the room in the morning (very important I have come to realize). The lounge area is also central to the hostel, making it easy to meet people and have good conversations. Free coffee, tea, and breakfast spreads are provided (PB, jam, butter), though bread must be purchased elsewhere (cheap ¥100 at 7eleven). The location is excellent as well — across the street from a 7eleven (very important for cash ATM, cheap breakfast, etc. ), 2 blocks from Oedo and Asakusa subway lines (both very useful), and just below Asakusa, a great area with a lot of restaurants and cultural landmarks to explore. Overall, this was an amazing hostel, and I ended up booking 3 more nights when returning to Tokyo after a week travelling elsewhere in Japan. I also stayed at K's House Hiroshima, which was equally convenient and good for meeting other travellers. I highly recommend K's House Tokyo and the K's House chain overall.

The hostel is amazing everyone is friendly and can speak English, it's close to a 711 and right next to the Oedo line and a 15 min walk to asakusa station.

Currently staying. Staff is fantastic. Prices are low. You meet new people every day from all over the world. It's close to the stations which is a huge plus.

Not a bad place, but it is a little noisy at night. The crowd tends to be younger. The location is good though with easy access to the oedo and asakusa subway lines. Also short walk to sensoji.

K's house has a reputation for being one of the best hostels in Tokyo. The staff is friendly and helpful, there are weekly group activities, the accommodations are nice and clean and it's easy to meet other travelers and go on adventures with each other. You will not be disappointed staying here or at any other K's House (I've stayed at 4 while in Japan and liked them all! )

K's house Tokyo were recommended to me as excellent place to call " home " while in Tokyo by my friend who visits Tokyo frequently. She was right as always. Very convenient location, clean and cozy in the most charming way, rooms are small but well designed for comfort and convenience, excellent showers and comfortable beds … and the best part : Absolutely outstanding customer service! The staff are kind, helpful, engaging and fun people. Too bad there is no option to leave 10 stars review :)

Really friendly staff and a good location. Very busy tho and does attract a fair few party goers so some nights you may get woken up.

It was an absolute pleasure to call K's House Tokyo my home during my stay in Japan. The staff are kind, helpful, and genuinely amazing people. I was travelling solo, so the common space was perfect for making friends (some of whom I have made lifelong connections with) and the establishment is comfortable and clean. I'm grateful for my time spent and the friends I made. I hope to return, even if to just say 'Hello! ' ありがとうございます。

Absolutely wonderful. From the warm greeting you get from the staff (who speak English). To your fellow travelers who you meet who all have a good story to tell. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It's also right next to a 7-eleven and a Subway station!

Very good stay! There are animations, the Wi-Fi is good and the room and other places are clean every day!

Good amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, dishware, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, pillow, blanket, washer, dryer, 2 showers and one bathroom per sex per floor. Staff spoke good English and were polite and helpful. Hostel kept quite clean.

For what it is as a hostel, it's great! I don't have much experience staying in hostels nor did I use many amenities provided by the hostel, but it's great to know that they'll offer a variety of amenities for guests.

Clean, spacious for Japan, and near the subway to go anywhere and easy to travel to Narita Airport.

Stayed at K's house with 2 teenage kids and a 6 year old. They loved it, I loved it. It was a really good experience, and this was mostly because of the wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful team. They are always willing to help with directions, bookings of JR line tickets or just advise on where to get good food. You could ask them just about anything. Close to Train Station, markets, 24 hour shops, pharmacy, temple. Its clean and tidy. Worth every yen you pay. Would definitely go back.

The best hostel I've ever stayed. The staffs are fluent in English, and they are really kind. You can make friends there very easily too. If you are traveling by yourself, this place is the best place for you. I definitely gonna stay there again next time.

I am staying today, here is good place to stay for trip. Somewhat the shower system is interrupting for me, but nice price is enough.

Absolutely the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Outstanding. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, and hugely knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although not spacious, they are adequate. There are also lockers for you to store any valuables. The communal areas are a mix of traditional and western that are comfortable and encourage socialisation. Everyone wants to practice their Japanese, and the staff all want to practice their English. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful stay, staff very friendly and always helpful! Lots of shower, laundry and Wi-Fi at every floor! Only negative point: no breakfast and tiny dormitories.

About this area. 　This area is NOT in the middle of a SLUM, but in a middle of a downtown Tokyo area. NOT in the unsafe nor poverty area, though some rich people living in Beberly Hills may feel it a poverty area. Most of the people living there earn their living by working for some companies as white/blue color workers or by managing their own family business. Homeless population in Kuramae area is quite low, comparing to the Tokyo station area or downtown Shinjuku area, and nothing different from the other residential area in Tokyo. Most of the houses are vary small and old, and may feel that they are poor, but if you consider the high real estate price in Tokyo, you may find they are not the poor people nor slum people. I've lived in Tokyo for many years, I've never seen any street fights in Tokyo and cannot believe that someone has seen several street fights. Again, this location is not in a slum, but in a common town in the center of Tokyo.
