Good location near Ueno Station, quiet, clean.

I didn't like it at first, the environment surrounding the street is not very good, the building itself is too old, quilt bed also has a little taste, toilet paper cover a touch fell down, the most do not like the room has the smell of stuffy can not be eliminated, even if there is a chemical aromatic agent (room toilet One) also did not help. But it has a good price, the staff is quite cordial, I like the evening an old uncle, so, live a long time or can be used to a little, if really want to save money, after all, the location is good.

An old style hotel with traditional management looks to me is a family business because staff seems like family member. Very convenient location and near rail station with very good price. But some thing not convenient like no lift inside the hotel and u need to keep the key in front desk before you go out every time and take it back after back. Still recommend if this is not a problem to you.

A budget hotel in one of the most commercially important area of Tokyo in Ueno Park… It is very well connected to each and every part of Tokyo City… The rooms of the hotel is pretty small… like it happens to be in most of the hotels in Tokyo… But yes hotel is clean and well maintained… No free/paid breakfast…

Just came in and saw a cockroach freely running across the room. Bathroom was dirty. Took my stuff and went to another hotel.

When we arrived we tried to shower and the shower was half broken, plus a living cockroach came from behind the sink and the room smelled terrible with a carpet oldest. We asked for refund of the money and went to another hotel.

Good thing: Price is very cheap, location is very good (near train station), staff is very nice and friendly. Bad thing: No elevator, we have to use stairs. The surrounding area is very dark especially at night.

Very good value for money. Double room with French bed, maybe even smaller. Not very clean (bedspread full of stains and dirty upholstery). Definitely to modernize. Unless, in the same area is better.

Budget hotel with good location but do note that there's no lift to upper floors — you'll have to use the stairs.

Stayed here for one week in August, 2015. Excellent hotel as it was quiet and within walking distance to Ueno Station as well a Kappibashi. Granted, the room was on the small side but, I did not come to Tokyo of a sleeping experience. Great place to recover from a long day of walking around the city!

It's okay if you need somewhere to sleep on a budget.
