Gran Custama Ueno Capsule Hotel

The capsule offer more than those of hostels except the capsule is hotter to sleep in than the bed in hostels. So make choices accordingly.

Very tidy and has everything you need. Also in a great location.

Very very convenient location. Close to multiple stations. Has its own entrance to 7-11. Also beside kuroneko yamato for takkyubin services. Cheap but fulfilling breakfast and dinner buffet. Nice 2nd floor lounge. But very very small locker. You have to strategize what you put in your locker and how you put it. I almost repacked my baggage every night it was kinda tiring. You have to leave your "room" key at the reception every time you go out. Big baggages are kept at the lobby.

There were bed bugs… but that's was the only con. Everything else was so convenient. So convenient I could look past the bed bugs.

Good place when you don't have money.

We used this great hotel as a stop over between Haneda airport and Narita airport. We had 12 hours between the flights so we went here and got a room which we rented for 6 hours. Absolutely fantastic service. There was breakfast buffet for 500yen per person, a huge comic section which my son enjoyed. And best of all a really nice public bath with onsen style hot bath. There is even a 7-11 connected and you are allowed to just bring in food and drinks and enjoy in the public area. We were able to get some sleep, bath, enjoy some relaxing time!

Definitely my worst experience at a capsule hotel in my years of travelling to Japan. The sleeping space was dirty. There was a lot of hair everywhere around the futon. The staff's attitude was horrible and I was treated like a pest than a guest.

My booked room wasn't available and I had to get a more expensive room suited for two people. Since I had booked in advance, I assumed the upgrade would be free, but it wasn't. Other than that, great place, nice staff and relaxation areas.

Here in the Ueno Station and the Okachimachi in the middle of the walk where to go are not far away. The onsite facilities are very good, there is also a great bath can Bath. The price is not expensive, the service cordial.

Enjoy every minute in the capsule with Wi-Fi. Every capsule incluse TV and warm during winter.

完全個室でまあ防音ちょい甘いけどタバコも吸えるし、風呂サウナあるし、セブンもあるし食堂もあるし、上野駅から徒歩5分以内には絶対着く。 間違いなく利便性も設備も衛生も上ランク。

Curious way of sleeping in cabins, quite cheap and good loc.

First capsule experience here and I enjoyed it so much. Especially loved the common area on the second level. So spacious and well-equipped. Most importantly, it was very clean too. Loved it!
