Place looks and feels old. It doesnt have great quality features unlike another 3 star hotel like APA hotel nearby.

Great location — close to a metro station and a quick walk to down town Shinjuku — they also have very friendly service. The room was also large enough for a small table and 2 chairs, which is almost unheard of in Tokyo. Would definitely stay there again.

Very good location, very nice hotel and the rooms are very clean.

Clean and modern room, very comfortable. Staff can speak english, and they can help to send your luggage throughout Japan using Takyubin.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Not bad for the price the rooms were very cramped (typical of Japan I guess) but we're speckless and clean. The building itself is rather old but you couldn't tell from the rooms. Service was not so great but I suspect it was due to the language barrier. 10 minute walk to downtown Shinjuku and 3 minute walk to a 7-11

Of all the hotels in Japan can boast the largest amount of space in the room. We had a triple room in which we successfully placed without any scruples.

Clean and good service. The staff are all friendly. There are two buildings, the new one is better. We can open the windows in the room, fresh air!

Location is pretty good in the centre of town about 900m from the train station. Staff were pretty attentive with requests, though the room service maids really should be there 24 hours a day in terms of service. Front desk were covering for them when they weren't there so new blankets and sheets did take a while to get to the room. The rooms are quite small, as is the bathroom. If you just want a place to sleep, this is a pretty good hotel that fits that bill. Breakfast wasn't included or offered so if you want that sort of thing, you may want to look elsewhere.

Excellent location in Shinjuku. Rooms clean and pleasant, though compact. Service professional. Breakfast good too.

Only one non smoking floor. Staff very helpful, close to metro lines. Amazing bakery nextdoor.

Pretty good value for money, good location close to Shinjuku and Kabukicho. Typical small Japanese rooms but clean and comfortable.

Great hotel within walking distance of some good shopping including iSetan and other large department stores. 3 single bed room can be tight but is maintained well and clean. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

Fairly good value for Shinjuku area. Only stayed a night as Shinjuku tends to make me very depressed.

The hotel is located in a udomnom place, the rooms are comfortable and clean, near the temple and many other interesting places.

Rooms are small and dated but clean. Location is close enough to kabukicho but not too close to be too loud at night. A bit of a walk from the train station.

I haven't been to any other hotels in the Shinjuku area, but I found the rooms to be too small. This may be just typical of the shinjuku area though, I'm not sure. The heated toilet seats and the washroom was quite nice. Location was alright. They have yummy looking baked bread for 100 yen on the ground floor.

Very clean hotel with modern amenities. Staff is courteous and helpful. Well located — not in the bustle of Shinjuku but close enough to walk. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Location is outstanding, a short walk from the heart of Shinjuku's entertainment district and Shinjuku Station. Our room was not large but was nicely laid out, clean, and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient, and spoke English. Recommended if you want a good location and a reasonable price.

This is a terrible place. I do not understand the reviews it has been getting. This place is old. It smells like cigarettes. It is tiny! It is outdated. The washroom… OMG… just don't bother with this kind of place if you'really coming from Toronto or used to Toronto standards. Just don't.

This a pretty nice little spot. Clean room, quite small but that's standard in Tokyo, helpful staff, and a decent breakfast. Overall, it was comfortable enough and served as a good home-base during our exploration of the capital.

We stayed in superior double room, big enough. Let Japan definitely stay here.

Really horrible C I'll never get in this hotel.

Clean and tidy, overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights. Only bad thing is that you can hear neighbours quite well through the airvents.
