Nice hotel, location is good but a 15 minute walk from all the evening life at and around Shinnagawa station. Safe, clean, good sized rooms and a good breakfast selection, continental and local. A bar but not open late. No gym or pool of any sort. Some small stores nearby, a few restaurants nearby. Starbucks over the road. Right next to the monorail, so great for getting around via the rail network. Get yourself Suica card and charge it up for easy to travel. It's a contactless rechargeable card, you can then swipe through the train system with ease. Biggest complaint is that there is only 1 English channel, CNN Japan, terrible let down if you're here for a long stay. And of course don't speak Japanese. I was here for 3 weeks, so it matters to me. Lower stars for that reason, as I believe to provide some choice of English would be of great benefit to many foreign travelers and is not had to do for a hotel business.

We stayed here with a group of 5 and stayed in one of their family suites and it was perfect. The room was big enough for everyone to have their own bed and there was still plenty of space. The staff was very informed and extremely helpful with finding things to do and giving directions. When we arrived they had robes, house slippers, toothbrushes with toothpaste, razors with shaving cream and shower caps for each of us. I dont think I've ever been to such an accommodating hotel. They even had a free sunrise yoga class. Definitely recommend!
