A padrisima experience, highly recommended and excellent service from all the staff, I recommend you climb to the top.

This is a first class hotel. The service was so attentive. I am a bit of a princess when it comes to beds and for us the beds were way too hard that we couldn't sleep. I spoke to the front desk and 10 minutes later they had put 4 pillow Toppers on the bed for us. So if the bed is too hard you fix it. Another thing that stood out at this hotel was that some food is not available after certain times but they were so nice that they made us porridge at 11pm to help with my stomach Ach. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. I stayed here once (4 years ago) and come back here again (feb 2018). Good view, nice service, room is a little bit small but ok for me, very good breakfast with 3 different restaurant of your choice. Will surely return here again. The hotel is aslo in good location, walk distance to food district and train station. Wifi is free and fast. I am impressed when the hotel provide a free phone for Wi-Fi AND free calls. Very happy staying here.

Good hôtel, with Nice rooms. But The central restaurant isn't enough good, no taste, too cooked, very simple. The food quality isn't to the rendez-vous regarding such a price. The waiters didn't speak english and come disturb you to pay before the end of your dinner. Very disapointing for such a class of hotel!

Please, if you can effort It, go and you Will never forget it.

After arriving on an early morning flight from Bangkok, the New Otani was probably the last thing I wanted to see. First of all, it looks incredibly dated — like one of those massive, once-respected hotels from decades ago. Maybe early 90’s. That’s what it is: a dated, dying dinosaur. Initially they showed us an upgraded double room. Possibly the worst beds I’ve ever felt in my life. They weren’t even beds so much as cots with cheap duvets and army issue pillows: hard, cheap, small and horrible. Seriously terrible. Nearly as terrible was the bathroom which smelled of mildew and other things. The smell, after a few minutes, filled the entire room. We explained the problems to the front desk downstairs and they kindly showed us another room — a large suite with a nice view. But again, very cheap, old fashioned furniture, depressing, and a hard, thoroughly uncomfortable bed. Even more uncomfortable than the cots before. And the AC was broke so it was boiling on top of everything. We just had them take our luggage downstairs immediately. I have no idea where the “new” part comes in when it comes to this hotel. There’s nothing new about it. It’s obviously a cheap hotel for large groups of budget travelers and students who don’t know better and that’s fine, but for this place to try to pass itself off as a luxury hotel is ludicrous and clearly not true. It’s terrible… a terrible mess and trying to make itself into something it’s not.

NOC (New Otani Club) card without real interest. Average breakfasts for the price. Really desapointed. We know this hotel since 30 years ago, but now, we don't come back.

Whenever I have a change to visit Tokyo, I stay at your hotel. Your courteous manner throughout the facility, personnel is the reason I keep coming back. I've bee your customer more than 30 years. I can call it my second home.

Spacious room in the main tower! But still start to getting old. Very big hotel, stay in the main tower. Don't stay in other tower! It's very hard to find a space for the breakfast in the morning and not very good quality. Friendly staff and well located in Akasaka mitsuke. Very nice view from the top! But the swimming pool and other extra cost lot of money even for the hotel guest.

Lavish Hotel in the area Akasaka. As a small city in itself. Exquisite, as in any place of Japan. Commercial area in the lower level with a Family Mart for tourists poor as I am. Countless lounges and dining rooms. Had breakfast on the 50th floor with superb views. On the sixth floor and for a small price a geisha performs before you to a tea ceremony. A multitude of restaurants in the vicinity, including the Ninja Akasaka, where you serve dresses Ninja. A minute from the Metro, lines, Marunouchi and Ginza, with stops in the most emblematic places of the city without having to reload.

Always loved this place — — reasonable elegance, good sized rooms (especially for Tokyo! ), very attentive staff, close to subway station (s), easy walk down to the Imperial Palace moat, only 10 minutes to Tokyo station (by subway). Price is the sticking point here… you will pay! (Side note: In the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice", the exteriors of the New Otani was shown as the headquarters for the evil villain's chemical company enterprise. )

Very good and very good value for Tokyo hotels Perfect for lunch meeting at Kyubei as well.

The rooms need some renovations and upgrades. Also you have to manage bookings for king size bed and smoking rooms because is always impossible to get a room with these characteristics regardless the time of booking evenif is weeks earlier.

An elegant hotel! Large rooms with beautiful views. The onsite garden is an amazing site and peaceful place to enjoy anytime of day. So many places to shop and eat right at the hotel. Plenty of taxi drivers nearby to go anywhere you want. Staff was very helpful and English friendly.

Everything was provided as described. Hotel staffs could understand and speak english too. It was such a memorable stay for myself and friends.

The location and services offered were incredible. Some prices were a bit high, but we were happy over all.

Stayed here a few times. The gardens are well worth a visit durning the day time.

Had to stay in a smoking room due to availability issues, just a tinge of smell. The view of Tokyo Tower from our room kinda made up for it. Overall, staff were helpful and the garden was beautiful! Location — train station, convenience stores and food were all in walking distance.
