Fantastic small hotel. The room is clean, modern and spacious (openable windows a bonus). Location is fantastic for Universal Studios and bayside activities, and as it is directly next to the stairs to the subway station, travel to the city centre and other areas were not a problem either. Best of all, all the staff were lovely despite my lack of meaningful Japanese, and special mention to a gentleman on one evening who helped clean my shoes when I stepped on dog poo some where. It was not requested or expected but he went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Hotel Sails was a truly exceptional stay with very well-maintained facilities, one of the best groups of staff I have encountered, and an excellent location 30 seconds walk from a metro station as well as 10 minutes walk from the Tempozan area. The hotel room was luxurious, spacious for the price and even had space for a TV seating area and dining table, which also meant the kids had space to play. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the stay, guiding me through a lot of the processes around sending of luggage to another city and navigating Osaka and even coming up to the room to help. A definite recommend for all travellers to Osaka, especially those with kids!

A great and comfortable stay with my friends… It is located right outside the Osaka metro station (osakako) … Wonderful location and a comfortable stay with clean rooms and kind staff. The included breakfast is small and basic, but it's just the right amount to start your day off right.
