I booked two rooms, one of which is Double Deb 2 big 1 nap, how to know that the bed is really small, a room has a good smell of smoke (I am booking a non-smoking room), asked to change the room, how to know the words no room only gave me sprayed some fresh air, not only so, air-conditioning is insufficient, the room is not clean, how do I do it… I'm so disappointed, I won't come next time.

Very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Our room smelled of cigarettes, but we were quickly changed to another room with no fuss. Very busy with bookings on Saturday nights for weekend visitors, so book early.

So I stayed three nights at this beautiful hotel, and loved it, the staff spoke perfect English and were so helpful and nice. The breakfast was really tasty, many options for Asian breakfast as well as western style breakfast too. It was very close to the famous shopping street and had tones of food places around as well. They also provided a smart phone in each room which was really helpful when navigating around the area. Also the bathtub was great — I adore having a bath so that was nice, they also provide a lot of toiletries for your stay so you could literally bring just yourself if needed.

We are using this hotel as a home base for traveling to Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, etc and our stay has been good! The rooms are very neat but the bathrooms are a bit smelly. All is fine as long as the door is kept shut. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating, and the entire hotel is very English friendly. The lobby is connected to a 7/11 which is very convenient. Overall, the location is very convenient with Dotonbori and Nipponbashi Station only minutes away by walking. Breakfast is included but be sure to go BEFORE it opens at 7am. A long line forms fast and moves quite slowly, however the food is good and worth the wait. We got there at 7 on the dot but still waited 30 minutes to get in. It’s a good hotel and I’d stay here again.

Nice hotel at a strategic location. The hotel seems a bit older, but looks freshly renovated & is extremely clean so it is not a problem. Single beds are comfortable but a bit narrow. Amenities are Shiseido-branded. One downside is the bathroom uses the old two-knob system instead of the more modern single lever with gauge. It works but is just slightly less fun.

Great hotel in a busy area during the evening. Very centrally located, close to two metro stops. Little shops and groceries close by. Great rooms and impeccable service. Good and well organized breakfast (from 6.50). Very friendly staff and possibility to leave your luggage in the lobby before check-in.

A very pleasant stay at the Ibis Styles in Osaka. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The room is comfortable and we had an awesome view of Dotonburi. The complimentary breakfast is well worth the stay on its own. Highly recommended.

The rooms are also spacious and can be opened on the ground with a suitcase.
Toilet size is ordinary, old, but the overall room and bath toilet cleanliness is good, near to visit the, Shouzi, Shinsaibashi are very convenient … Breakfast type is much, but people have to line up to enter, often there are many seats inside, but do not quickly let the queue of people into the meal, so that people wait until the mood is not pleasant.

This hotel has a very nice location as it is very near the Dotonbori river. Rooms are quite small but comfortable. Buffet breakfast needs to be improved.

This hotel is in the middle of all the happening area. Dotonbori is just one street away. 7-11 next to hotel. Hotel breakfast is average and it’s included in the room rate. We had to skip the hotel breakfast three mornings as there was a very long line every day (more than 20mins if we had waited). Family room is spacious and bathroom, toilet good and spacious. One issue we noticed though was there wasn’t a space to keep luggage, even though the room was large. We had to keep the luggage on the floor. Friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately in the bathroom there are no mixers and for the shower is not the best.

Very good Ibis Style, conveniently located, great room for Japan and clean. The 7eleven downstairs happens to be very very convenient.

The Hotel’s location is great however my biggest issue was the air conditioning spewed warm instead of cool air! We notified the staff and they told us that the infrastructure was old and nothing could be done about it therefore they gave us a fan. Thankfully the air conditioning was fixed promptly. Staff were great, bathroom was acceptable but the rooms are probably the smallest I’ve ever seen. Good for one person, hell for two or more. Well I can’t complain. It’s in the heart of Osaka.

The surrounding environment of the hotel is noisy and complex, when the room is narrow, and the wall also has dust and spider webs, cleaning to be strengthened.

Good location, but unprofessional staff. This was the first time I saw a counter staff working and chewing gum. When I checked info, a male staff talked in an unfriendly way, which really ruined my pleasant Osaka trip.

I was stayed at Ibis Styles Osaka last year, located on dotonburi area (shopping district in Osaka) and not far from subway train (private line not JR). Room is small but clean, overall it is a nice hotel if you want to explore osaka.

Breakfast was good. They do not have shuttle service. Hotel has access to 7/11 right next to it.

Less supplies, door heavy, there is laundry service can open the window, but the next room can crawl in, too close to the breakfast level generally, not bad noise is not good receptionist good, can communicate in English with luggage storage services, provide airport bus data.

At the Namba Nihonbashi station in the middle of the hotel to be honest, it's a 10-minute walk to the hotel downstairs. Is that, uh, male prostitute? The place of the collection of bar location in the next day familiar is quite convenient to say that hotel experience breakfast level above choice 萛 many basic meals taste less than four daily turns the food is very strong, the atmosphere is good, the room is warm, so the rooms are very stuffy. Although there is a small means of ventilation but the hotel is expressly prohibited the best to leave when reset Provided the base appliance without the cotton stick this experience in my travel is rare but in my room experience bleach is too strong. Bare-footed mat burns, but I think it's just a matter of fact, but because it left a bad impression on me. The price of this experience combined I give Samsung.

Has pretty much all the bare essentials for a hotel. Location wise is good and bad. Its in the hustle and bustle of dotomburi with ample choice for eats and shopping is very close by. However for those planning to use the rail & metro a lot it can be tiresome especially with luggage. For anyone using Osaka as a base to visit other areas like Kobe, Kyoto, Hiroshima etc I would recommend staying close to Shin-Osaka station. Otherwise to explore Osaka its great. The hotel room was a little cramped for 2 people. Bathroom was small but typical of basic Japanese hotels. We also only had 3 hangers in our room which we believe is insufficient for 2 people. The staff were lovely though.

Space in the room is quite spacious, but interior seems old, especially the bathroom, everything seems so yellow. Room isn't clean enough, with light dust in alot of the places in the room. Hotel staff is competent in English in general, especially the staff at the front desk, thus communication is clear and smooth. There is a 7-11 in this building. And there is a door near the front desk to the 7-11 (for guest only). So you don't have to walk out of the hotel to the 7-11. Washing machine are available in this hotel too, not free for use tho, but inexpensive.

Excellent location. I got a triple which was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Also includes free breakfast though I wasn't a big fan of it. Very average. Overall highly recommended.

It was a great hotel, it is located close to a lot of restaurants and shops in the city. The room was small but not so. Everything was cleaned up amazing.

This perfect location in the city and the room was well limipia.

My wife and I had a very good time at the hotel. Hotel facilities are quite new and useful. There are vending machines on almost every floor. The breakfast is very good and even with lots of guests but the venue is not crowded every morning. We have received a welcome snack and drink and a upgrade of the room as a le club member. Fantastic trip in osaka!

The location is great, 2 minutes walk from the shopping street, the hotel downstairs is 7-11, 1 minutes diagonal walk also has a small business supermarket.
The room is a triple room so there is a large room, but I do not know whether it is the problem of bed dust mites, stay in bed three days after a bath, the body will be itchy and slightly allergic, I hope this can be improved.
For the breakfast part, we live for three days, but some of the ingredients of the food will be adjusted, such as three days are different face class, scrambled eggs to omelet and so on, this is very satisfying, and restaurant in the hotel's top floor 15F, so the scenery is not bad!

Great location located right in Dotonbori. Located approximately 20 minutes walk from JR Namba station (we utilised our JR Pass as much as possible). There is however Namba subway station located about 10 minutes closer. Rooms are of decent size and beds and pillows are comfortable. … Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a 7-eleven store adjacent to the foyer for any convenience items you require. The breakfast area is fantastic with great views overlooking Osaka. Western & Japanese style buffet available.
I Recommend lining up for breakfast prior to 7am as there will already be a queue however the staff have a very efficient system and your wait will be minimal. I would stay here again when I next visit Osaka and I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is great, staff informative, amicable and helpful. Great breakfast area, fantastic view. Walking distance to Dotonbori. Washroom could be renovated. Bed was not made properly and the decorating cover was left on the floor (the cleaning/organization of the room appeared to be done in a hurry). Other than this, I recommend this hotel.

Great location and very polite staff but very small room and it's not about rate of pay, almost all the hotels in Japan have small rooms…

The hotel is very well located in a vibrant area close to restaurants and night life. It meets all the requirements for a competently managed three-star hotel in Japan and I would recommend Ibis Osaka. The coffee machine in the breakfast room is a Jura brand and grinds the beans before delivering a smart quality smack in the morning. One counter staff member was exceptionally helpful. Another did not seem suited to the job despite very good English… maybe just having a bad day. The high pressure shower was a treat. We were a gay couple but the icon indicates a heterosexual couple.

The location is excellent for city walkers or shoppers. I can just drop off my purchased stuff to my hotel in a few minutes from the major shopping areas. The breakfast is very nice, coffee nice, superb view. I stayed for 3 nights with 2 different rooms. Both are small but one is acceptable. Another one is too small that I can't even open my suitcase. Overall, it is highly recommended if convenient, clean and nice breakfast are your priority.

My partner and I received a warm and friendly welcome at the Ibis in Osaka and were very grateful for that as we were quite weary having travelled for most of the day. Everything was explained clearly to us. The room was clean and tidy and although a little small (not a worry for us) it satisfied our needs exactly. It was central and well run. Unfortunately we only had an overnight stay but would have been happy to extend for a few nights if we had been able to fit round our schedule. I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel and feel it was great value for money.

Highly recommended to stay at Ibis Styles Osaka… Nice & polite staff, good location and cleanliness, room rate is included breakfast not only members… Walking distance to Nippombashi station, Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Shinsekai Market and Namba Station is around 5~15 min… The service was good as they take care of our needs, which make us feel happy and comfortable… Room size is small but is fine for me, and they provided full set of toiletries especially the Shower… Gel, Shampoo and Conditioner was awesome… The Breakfast was delicious but limited of choice if compare to 4~5 star hotel… As a 3star Hotel, I would give a like to Ibis Styles Osaka, definitely will come back again…

Very good location. We had been in superior twin Delux. We realize that the hotel has been renovated recently as there is still some vestige in the room and in the hotel. The staff is doing their best. I saw a French official in the hotel a real plus.

The hotel is good, great location, and fantastic service.

Good clean rooms. Minimal facilities however value wins out with great location. You are here for the sights and sounds, a bed & shower is adequate. Has a Grudge hole in bathroom roof to let the ghosts in. Oh, and room was really hot, had to undo window.

The bar was lively and decor was nice, generally a excellent experience.
