One of the most beautiful and comfortable hostels I ever stayed at. The dorms have thicker walls than other places, electrical sockets, reading light, roll down curtain, free regulare sized towel, free laundry including dryer, vinyl and record player, excellent Wi-Fi, well equiped kitchen with seasoning and oil for guests to use, complimentary quality tea and instant coffee. The kind owner decorated and built parts of the place himself. The rooftop is nice for lounginh on the homemade furniture. Did I mention it is super clean? it is a 2 minute walk to makishi station, from where the monorail will take you to and from the airport in 16 minutes and to other parts town, like shuri castle. There are plenty atm’s, restaurants, family mart and lawson supermarkets for take away food, drinks, phone chargers, toileteries and muji stationary etcetera very near. Close to the dojo bar, where karateka’s come to watch tournements, and a short walk to the lively kokusai dori street to get your birkenstocks and anything you may need. Near the lovely makishi market for food, clothes, souvenirs, and which in the evening changes into lively place for drinks and bites. Walking distance to sakurazaka cinema which screens movies in english. Highly recommend hostel.
