Visited in November/Autumn. Obama is a small town, so not much helping any lack of amenities due to the location. The staff was a delight to interact with. Rooms seemed to be standard ryokan size. Ours had a private outdoor bathtub. The lamps were very warm, that could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste (we had to sleep with the windows open).
Old fashioned but welcoming people and great scenery with seaside view.

The food is a traditional Japanese delicacy, the taste is light and delicious, the looks are beautiful and exquisite. Especially breakfast is very delicious, the amount is enough. The open-air wind has a great view and you can see the sunset. Location is also good, the front is a "foot soup" park, walk five minutes to the supermarket. The only drawback is that the big baths on the first floor are not big enough, there are no foam rushing rapids and so on.
