Ideal location — walking distance to the ferry port, supermarket, and bus stop. The room wasn't huge, but we didn't spend much time inside anyways. The room had a TV and little coffee table, and towels/robes were provided. This guesthouse does not have a communal kitchen, but there is a dining area where you can bring food in to eat. They have shampoo/conditioner/soap in the showers. There were two washing machines available for free.
➜ We travel by bicycle to the Japan. This hostel is 2 minutes from the port where the ferry berth. Ideally located, is steps away (open until 10 pm) supermarket, a laundromat, 24/24 and the jomon sugi hiking bus stop.
Enjoyed the meal so I can not judge this part however the room was Spartan which corresponds well to the side Island adventurer. Nevertheless, it was a little bit and tatami were not easy to implement. Cleanliness is limit (do not look under furniture! ) and we had some dust bunnies in the corners of the room. Not nice when we sleep close to the ground. Toilet and bathroom. Internet everywhere and washing machine but not dryer.
The most: a hot bath is available for private and solo. Ideal after the hike.

Great location — right next to the harbor where the ferry arrives, grocery store across the street and bus stop to all tourist spots nearby. The place is nice, clean and well equipped. The host is super nice and helped us plan and organize our hiking trip.
