Rooms not huge but big enough. Lots to do within walking distance and close to transport. Friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Hotel not very generous, but place in a central area of the city, just outside the evening district of Shijo and the district of Gion, where you can find geisha during the evening. Near The metro station Sanjo where trains also depart for Osaka. The rooms and bathrooms however are small and the breakfast, if not included, is not cheap. Positive Note, the coffee machine De Longhi in the lobby.

I spent 18 days travelling around center Japan and the B kyoto Sanjo was my best choice. Not only because it superior location very near to Ponto chó although very quiet zone, but the price and superior staff. The rooms are not bigger than any other hotel in Japan but they are modern, comfortable and clean. If I come back to Kyoto for sure I will repeat.

Close enough to the Metro and bus station.

Friendly staff, great rooms with all necessary facilities, Wi-Fi and free coffee all day, great location, close to transportation.

From the nearby attractions very close, the rooms are medium in size, the service personnel cordial. The restaurant is small, eat Breakfast many people have to wait, the best of the early arrangements.

Very well located hotel, close to the geisha district.
The room is very large, especially to be Japan, it even has a balcony. That said, a little old.

Simple business hotel, rooms are small, but all are dirty. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, convenient location (in the three passes), and then Kyoto, will consider checking in again.

Good location but room way too small and badly equipped (no side table on the bed, no place to open your luggage etc. )

Service is friendly, room size is OK, walk to the new Beijing pole, Octopus Shrine, Yuanshan Park, Gaotai Temple, surrounding traffic and function are convenient, to non-peak season prices are a good choice.

This consecutive stay of three nights, customer service is very kind, and can directly communicate in Chinese feel great. Room is not big but live comfortable and tidy, soundproofing is good. To be sure is that the bathroom is too small (but Japanese bathroom equipment is almost small). Location is good, it is very convenient to go anywhere.

This is my most expensive but best hotel in Kyoto ~ very close to Keihan Metro station, and very close to Lixin bus station, breakfast is also full of delicious, there are Chinese and Western dishes! Just live not on the other side of the street, very quiet at night.

Friendly customer service. Located close to Sanjo station. Pricey but decent compared to other hotels in kyoto during peak season. There's a convenience store just a few steps away.

The hotel is very well kept and very clean and well placed for the historic centre. Very friendly staff.

The personal was very professional and helpful. Nice room, large and clean. Everything needed for a 4 days stay in Kyoto while sightseeing.

Good accommodation. They give us a free upgrade so very happy about the management. Well connected with subway and busses. Near all possible amenities for the day and the night.

Good budget hotel in northern Kyoto. It's quiet and the staff are nice. Coffee in a common area, breakfast for a charge. The rooms are indeed small, as are the bathrooms (and showers) bit fine for one person. Beds are hard though (fine of you like that).

Location is great, it's next to Subway and only 5 minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. The room size is generous compare to other hotels. There are enough floor space for both luggages.

Extremely clean and modern room. Bed is as firm as they come unfortunately but if that's your thing then you're set. Comfortable pillows, flexible reading lights on the headboard, slippers and robe, coffee pot, mini fridge, blow dryer, and what I believe is an air purifier by the window. My room on the third floor had a great view of the mountains out by the shrines. The staff at the front desk are polite and helpful. For the price it's hard to beat.
