ʕʘ‿ʘʔ WARNING for Foreigners! If I could give this place 0 stars I bloody would. Reserved this joint online, but the promised “access pin” email never came. I thought nothing of it, but after a long day schlepping all around Kyoto, I turned up at the Hotel at 11PM, and couldn’t get in. Nobody was there at the concierge, and after 10 calls to the call center, there was no answer! This is despite there being a “24hr check in and help line” available. I can speak Japanese, so that was no issue. But nobody was bloody there! Not even in the head office for emergencies. Eventually, after waiting until about 1130, getting bitten a hundred thousand times by Mosquitoes, I had to find another hotel and pay for THAT too. I was forced to hike five more blocks in my tired and beleaguered state, in an unfamiliar city (I live in Tokyo). NOT acceptable in the slightest! Avoid at all costs. I suppose I can thank them for the free Wi-Fi out the front though. That’s how I wrote this critical review! EDIT: The next day, just to add insult to injury, we finally got a reply! But it merely consisted of “Thanks for staying with us! We hope to see you again! ” SERIOUSLY?
